Tyler Lund (2020 OF, Tomball, TX) is only 5-9/158 but he packs plenty of bat speed and pop into his growing frame. He uses his lower half very well to help generate bat speed and takes a full and aggressive swing.
Matthew Whitting (2022 C, Bellaire, TX) is another smaller player who has a sound swing approach that creates bat speed with good looseness and extension through the ball. He made solid and consistent mid-field contact and projects well physically
Ethan Medlin (2021 OF, Lake Charles, LA) is one of many players here from the storied Barbe HS program. He has a very simple right handed swing approach with quick hands and the ability to drive the ball to all fields.
Jackson Farley (2022 3B, League City, TX) will have to learn, as many young hitters have to learn, to get his front foot down on time but when he made adjustments and did, he showed strength and bat speed along with lots of projection.
Ryan Targac (2020 SS, Hallettsville, TX) is a strong and athletic switch-hitter with a verbal commitment to Texas A&M. He showed very good bat speed especially from the left side with a fast and controlled swing that had power and consistency.
Karson Cummins (2020 1B, Lewisville, TX) has a big and strong 6-2/190 build and lots of present strength room for more. He really fires his hands aggressively at the ball and drove it hard up the left centerfield gap.
Callum Burton (2020 SS, Spring, TX) has a very, very consistent right handed swing that is polished and under control. His bat speed improved gradually throughout his round, although he pretty much squared every ball up from gap to gap.
Kolby Branch (2022 MIF, Lucas, TX) has lots of time and room to add strength to his 5-9/140 build but already has the hand quickness and aggressiveness to create some real bat speed, with plenty more to come.
Jack Beiter (2021 C, Austin, TX) has a lift and pull approach from the right side with the strength and bat speed to execute it well. He got in a groove and lifted the ball very nicely and consistently deep to left field.
Ivan Brethowr (2021 C, Olathe, KS) has a huge shift into contact that he will have to learn to tone down as pitcher's learn to change speeds on him but there is no mistaking that the 6-4/200 right handed hitter can put a serious charge into the ball.
Damian Bravo (2022 3B, Haltom City, TX) looks bigger than his listed 5-9/160 build and has a nice riht handed swing that has bat speed and plenty of projection as he continues to grow.
Jacob Sullens (2022 OF, Keller, TX) has lots of raw bat speed from a freshman and plenty of room to get stronger. He uses his whole 6-0/170 body to generate bat speed and drives the ball hard to the middle of the field.
Jaren Warwick (2020 RHP, New Caney, TX) is a primary pitcher with hitting tools and lots of physical projection. He created barrel whip with a quick right handed swing that had lots of looseness and bat speed through contact.
Zachary Easterling (2020 RHP, Spring, TX) is another primary pitcher who can impact a baseball. The 6-3/195 left handed hitter has an aggressive pull approach and the ability lift and drive the ball.
Lance Little (2020 1B, Georgetown, TX) is an extra strong 6-1/200 right handed power hitter who gets his best carry to right centerfield, including one ball that carried over the wall. He gets plenty of jump to the pull side but also puts plenty of top spin on the ball.
William Lee (2020 OF, Spring, TX) is a rare switch-hitter who shows the same bat speed and hitting tools from both sides of the plate. He's a bit shorter and quicker from the right side but can impact the ball hard from the left side as well.
Zachery Mack (2021 1B, Manvel, TX) looks the part with an extra strong 6-3/203 build and had some of the very best bat speed of the day. The right handed hitter swings hard and crushes the ball with hard pull side line drive contact.
David Valoy Jr (2020 C, Arlington, TX) has a prototypical very strong catcher's build and a very low effort and repeatable right handed swing that enables him to use that strength very consistently to generate bat speed and hard contact.
Jackson Duke (2020 C, Grand Prairie, TX) has fundamentally the same build and strength as Valoy. When he started turning on the ball he showed big power and put a dent in a pick up truck parked well in back of the left centerfield fence.
Colby Cooke (2020 LHP, Spring, TX) is a primary left handed pitcher but has strength in his swing and took one of the better BP rounds of the day, topping it off with a long home run to right field. His swing is exceedingly simple and repeatable, something all hitters could learn from.
Hunter Simmons (2020 3B, Mansfield, TX) has a long and lofted right handed swing with lots of looseness and bat speed. He's a power hitter who can drive the ball deep, especially when he creates backspin.
Nick Mueller (2020 OF, League City, TX) has a smooth and easy left handed swing from a spread and open stance and will keep improving as he adds strength to his 6-0/160 build.
