Aaron Munson is a 2020 OF/RHP with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from San Antonio, TX who attends Johnson HS. Young athletic build, plenty of room to get stronger and does look bigger than listed. Left handed hitter, hits from a straight stance with a good shift into contact, hands are quick and work well to the ball, pull line drive contact with some jump at contact, has a good swing and will continue to grow his bat speed as he gets stronger. 7.33 runner, has good arm strength in the outfield with carry to his throws. Also pitched, graded out higher as a pitching prospect at this event. Smooth delivery with a high leg lift start, long and loose arm action from a high 3/4's slot. Fastball topped out at 86 mph with good downhill plane and arm side running action. Showed good feel for a 11/5 curveball with tight spin and depth, developing change up. Named to the 2018 National Underclass South Showcase Top Prospect List.
