Sean Viaclovsky is a 2021 RHP/IF with a 6-2 145 lb. frame from Pasadena, TX who attends Deer Park. Very slender young build, square shoulders. Big side step/leg lift delivery, gets his lower half back on line well to the plate, long arm action in back coming to an extended 3/4's arm slot. Low 80's fastball from the wind up topped out at 84 mph mph, gets some running life at times. Abbreviates his delivery from the stretch and gets way out front in his delivery and loses velocity to the upper 70's. Started working his curveball in the mid-60's with softer spin and an early release, made adjustment and signficantly improved the curveball spin and bite at 69-70 mph later. Nice change up with some sinks. Has three usable pitches and throws strikes. 7.01 runner, tools fit best in the outfield defensively if not on the mound. Right handed hitter, hits from open and wide stance with a pronounced hand drop load to start his swing, pulls his hands in well and makes hard pull line drive contact on his pitch.
