Elias Trea Verver is a 2021 OF/1B with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Cedar Park, TX who attends Cedar Park. Medium athletic build with some present strength and room for more. Right handed hitter, hits from an upright straight stance with a simple leg lift trigger, well timed swing he repeats well, swings hard and creates present bat speed and can drive the ball from gap to gap, hits with intent and gets jump off the barrel. 7.14 runner, shows good athleticism in the outfield with a clean approach and good footwork through the ball, gets on top of his throws and creates good carry and accuracy. Also pitched, has a loose 3/4's arm slot, will vary his delivery and tempo to impact hitter's timing. Fastball topped out at 82 mph with good arm side run and the aiblity to throw it to both sides of the plate. Mixed in a slider and change up and did a good job disrupting hitters timing, has some polish on the mound for a secondary pitcher. Nice overall athlete. Good student. Named to the Sunshine South Top Prospect List.
