Dane Swoboda is a 2020 RHP/C, 1B, 3B with a 6-2 210 lb. frame from San Antonio, TX who attends Lee HS. Recorded a 7.78 second 60-yard dash time. Large frame with strength present throughout the build. Primary righthanded pitcher who repeats his mechanics well and works quickly. Natural rhythm to motion with good pacing and smoothness. Mechanically efficient with a fastball that topped out at 83 mph. Arm side run to the fastball and mixed in a sweeping curveball. Arm strength plays from secondary position of catcher. Righthanded hitter with a deeper load, high hand set, and a high back elbow. Good plate coverage with a wide stance and has a flat path through the hitting zone. Some strength to the swing with good impact when he gets his hands extended. Good student.
