Keagan Solomon is a 2021 C/3B with a 5-9 160 lb. frame from Johnson City, TX who attends Lyndon B Johnson. Medium frame with a lean build and wiry strength. Frame projects to support additional strength. Primary catcher with a balanced, slightly side set stance while receiving the baseball. Gains some ground towards the bag while working out of crouch with quicker footwork. Clean exchanges and released from a compact three-quarters arm slot. Throws generated on line carry to the bag topping at 71 miles per hour, best workout pop time of 2.00. Right handed hitter with a slightly crouched, slightly open stance and medium leg lift trigger. Shifts into contact well with linear lower half actions. Quick hands through the zone and utilized a slightly lifted barrel plane through extension. Flashed good jump off the barrel when squared while employing a gap to gap approach.
