Braden Harper is a 2022 C/RHP/UT with a 5-9 160 lb. frame from Noble, OK who attends Noble HS. Compact frame wit an athletic build and room to add. Ran a 7.65 second 60-yard dash. Worked out defensively as a primary catcher. Sets up in a side straddle stance behind the plate. Gains ground out of the stance with compact action during transfers. Will rush footwork at times. Throws are around the bag in the upper 60's at popping a 2.18 during workouts. Also worked out as an infielder. Fields out front with soft hands into transfer. Has a compact release into throws at 75 miles per hour staying around the bag. Righthanded hitter with a loose swing through the zone and a high finish. Uphill path to contact getting the ball in the air with consistency. Secondary righthanded pitcher working exclusively from the stretch. Lands in line down the mound with slight drop and drive actions. Short and quick action at hand break into a three-quarter slot. Stays in the zone with the fastball able to throw quality strikes. Short breaking action on the curveball around the knees. Very good student as well.
