Clayton Maddox is a 2020 C/3B/OF with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Leander, TX who attends Leander. Large frame with square shoulders and present strength. Ran a 7.41 second 60-yard dash. Worked out defensively as a primary catcher. Sets up in an even base. Gains ground out of the stance. Very accurate throws down to the bag with soft carry at 72 miles per hour and popping a 2.15 during workouts. Righthanded hitter with a quiet stance and load. Creates some jump off the barrel when out front and squaring up with the barrel. Middle of the field to opposite field approach. Very good student as well.
