Xavier Cumbee (2019 2B, Fort Mill, SC) had 2 singles in the game for the Cardinal team this afternoon. Cumbee has great speed down the line is aggressive on the bases and has a nice easy swing. 

Ben Scartz (2019 SS, Grayson, GA) made solid contact both times he came up today. Scartz has a level swing with bat speed and has a good feel for the barrel.

Ethan Vecrumba (2019 OF/RHP, Bloomington, IN) topped out at 85mph this afternoon mixing in his curveball at 77mph. Vecrumba does a good job of using his lower half getting good extension on the mound. He throws a heavy fastball with good depth to his curveball. Vecrumba also singled twice at the plate for navy team this afternoon. Vecrumba has a level swing with bat speed and consistently barrels the ball up.

Eli Steadman (2021 OF, Birmingham, AL) singled twice for the orange team today. Steadman has a compact swing gets down the line well and has bat speed. 

Adam Henry (2021 OF, Atlanta, GA) singled and doubled for the Green team today. Henry has a sound approach at the plate with a line drive swing plane and consistently squared the ball up today. 

JD Day (2020 SS, Ringgold, GA) reached base twice this afternoon including tripling in his last at bat. Day has good speed on the bases with a sound approach at the plate.

Daniel Elliott (2020 SS/RHP, Clarksville, MD) topped out at 84mp mixing in a curveball at 65mph and a slider at 71mph. Elliott has a deliberate delivery with a quick arm pitching from a high 3/4 arm slot. Elliott has arm side run on his fastball with depth to his curveball.

Aj Miller (2020 OF, Crane Hill, AL) singled twice as well for the Royal team today. Miller has a quick line drive swing plane with bat speed and is aggressive on the bases.  

Brody Perdue (2020 C, Coker, AL) singled 3 times this afternoon for the White team today. Perdue has an aggressive approach at the plate with a line drive swing plane and makes solid consistent contact at the plate. 

Alex Liakos (2021 SS, Midland, MI) singed and doubled in the game today. Liakos has a good swing with good barrel control and squared the ball up consistently.

Kristopher Higgenbottom (2021 1B, Horn Lake, MS) singled twice this afternoon. Higgenbottom has a level swing with bat speed and makes solid contact.

Nate Towles (2018 RHP, Laurens, SC) singled twice as well for the col. blue team today. Towles has a confident approach at the plate is short to the ball and makes consistent contact at the plate.

Mishoe has an easy delivery with a loose arm action pitching from a high 3/4 arm slot. He throws a heavy fastball consistently for strikes and has depth to his slider. 

Joseph Bass (2018 OF, Eatonton, GA) singled twice in the game for the steel team today. Bass has a confident approach at the plate with a good swing.

Devon Bovinett (2019 3B, Caseyville, IL) singled twice as well for the steel team today. Bovinett makes solid consistent contact at the plate with power potential in his bat.

Vincent Martino (2020 SS, Theodore, AL) singled twice in the game for the red team today. Martino has a confident approach at the plate with a level swing and makes consistent contact.

Jaden Carr (2021 OF, Algonquin, IL) made solid contact at the plate all 3 times up today while tripling in the game. Carr is aggressive on the bases with gap to gap pop.

Alex Flood (2019 RHP/ OF, Lawrenceville, GA) reached base all 3 times he came up today. flood makes consistent contact with a level swing and good barrel control.

Michael Ozymy (2019 RHP, Coppell, TX) Worked 4 perfect innings featuring a fastball that topped at 89 miles per hour. Ozymy consistently pounded the strike zone created heavy arm side run that proved to be very difficult for hitters to square. Also flashed developing feel for a 9/4 slider that had sharp, late tilt to glove side. The 2019 grad struck out 5 batters of 12 batters faced. 

Joseph Bass (2018 OF, Eatonton, GA) Showed present bat speed while turning the barrel to contact on pitches located inner half. Drove a sharp line drive double down the left field line in his first at bat of the game scoring a runner. 

Jack Metzger (2018 RHP, Boerne, TX) The Texas native showed good command for both his fastball and curveball offering effectively changing speeds throughout each inning of work. The 2018 grad worked ahead early with a fastball that topped at 85 miles per hour and put hitters away late in counts with a sharp 11/5 breaking ball that flashed late, hard bite. Metzger worked 3 scoreless innings allowing no hits and struck out 3 batters.

Devon Bovinett (2019 3B, Caseyville, IL) Utilized a smooth, linear swing plane that generated natural leverage through extension. Flashed good bat speed and strength through the zone turning on a fastball and driving a 2 RBI triple to deep left center field.

Justin Parish (2018 RHP, Dacula, GA) sat 81-84mph on his fastball with his curveball at 72mph. Parish has an effortless easy arm action. Parish has good sink to his fastball and pounds both sides of the strike zone. 

Aj Miller (2020 OF, Crane Hill, AL) singled twice in the game for the Royal team today. Miller moves well on the bases with a level swing and makes consistent contact.

Maddux Greene (2018 1B, Madison, MS) singled twice in the game as well. Greene has a line drive swing plane with a good swing and consistently barrels the ball up. 

Marcus Joyner (2020 LHP/1B, Seymour, TN) had two hits in the game today including doubling. Joyner has an aggressive approach at the plate with a good feel for his barrel and has power potential.

Addison Fakes (2019 3B, Lebanon, TN) singled 2 times in the game for the Green team today. Fakes has a solid swing making consistent contact at the plate. 

Will Brassil (2018 LHP, Broomfield, CO) topped out at 85mph on his fastball with his curveball at 70mph. Brassil has a compact quick arm action. Brassil has good depth and spin to his curveball while mixing it in consistently for strikes. 

Luke Bianco (2018 RHP, Crown Point, IN) sat 81-84 on his fastball with his changeup at 78. Bianco has a quick delivery with a clean short arm action.

Benjamin Goff (2021 RHP/INF, St. Louis, MO) had 2 singles in the game for the Orange team today. Goff has a line drive swing plane with bat speed and makes consistent contact. 

Jack Clothier (2020 OF, New York, NY) had a double in the game for the Orange team today. Clothier has good bat speed with pop in his bat.

Fall Academic BP Highlights

Ethan Vecrumba (2019 OF, Bloomington, IN) had a nice showing his round of batting practice putting on a display with good raw bat speed and a feel for barreling the baseball. He has a presently powerful swing in his 6-foot-4 200-pound frame. 

Preston Hall (2020 3B, Gastonia, NC) showed bat speed in his swing and an intriguing power ceiling with his ability to fly the ball to all fields. Hall swings with intent and leverage that helps him to drive the ball through the gaps. 

Griffin Reddeck (2018 C, Fort Mill, SC) displayed potential power in his round of batting practice with good bat speed that really projects with added strength. Reddeck has a power approach with a good launch angle looking to pull the ball for deep fly balls. 

W. McIver Wallace (2020 C, Hartsville, SC) consistently hit line drives to the middle of the field in his round. He has present bat speed with lots of room to fill throughout his 5-foot-9 154-pound frame. 

Eddie Eisert (2020 SS, Fairfax Station, VA) is a switch hitter that tended to make more consistent and harder contact from the lefthanded side. Eisert is athletic at 6-foot-2 175-pounds and it shows in his swing presenting raw bat speed and power. 

Jose Fulgencio (2019 SS, Apopka, FL) put his quick hands and athleticism up for display. The righthanded hitter has a leg kick that generates good bat speed. Showcasing pull side power in his swing, Fulgencio has a swing that projects for more.

Brent Burford (2020 C, Jackson, GA) has a small leg kick trigger with a slight weight transfer. The simple timing mechanism and hands that move straight to the baseball help produce a line drive swing plane. Burford showcased the ability to hit consistently to the middle and opposite fields.

Vincent Martino (2020 SS, Theodore, AL) has a good weight transfer leading into his swing. Combining a line drive swing plane and barreled contact to the middle of the field, Martino presented a solid hit tool in his round of batting practice. 

Nolan Gagnon (2020 LHP, Guthrie, OK) has a big 6-foot 190-pound build with present strength. Gagnon makes loud contact with pull side pop. The lefthanded swinging first baseman hit the ball hard to right field showing good bat speed with some projection.

Timbo Trawick (2019 OF, Midland, GA) is a strong outfielder with even more room to fill in his 6-foot-4 200-pound frame. Trawick has potential power in his bat with the ability to barreled balls to deep pull side and center fields.

Kohl Nguyen (2018 OF, Duluth, GA) stands with a medium 5-foot-11 165-pound build and wide base. Nguyen has lots of room to fill with bat speed displayed in his batting practice round. He is mainly a pull hitter who showed strength to make hard contact to the left field side.

Ethan Wright (2019 OF, Marietta, GA) has a good feel for barreling the baseball. Wright made consistent hard and loud contact. He has the ability to hit the ball to all fields and showed the potential to produce some power to his pull side. 

Garret Mishoe (2018 OF, Rydal, GA) has a big projectable frame with good bat speed in his swing. He makes consistent contact and the ball jumps off of his barrel. Mishoe has a big swing with a lift present. With one of the bigger power displays at the event, Mishoe is a big power threat swinging the bat.

Devon Bovinett (2019 3B, Caseyville, IL) looks to hit the ball hard to pull side. Bovinett has a power approach with some pop in his barrel and a good launch angle to help produce deep fly balls. 

Chandler Davis (2018 C, Eastman, GA) showed the ability to make hard contact to pull side. His hands work well into the swing hitting the ball hard to all fields. His round was loud with noticeable torque in his hips and with more potential power to come.


Nicolas Crossing (2019 1B, Newnan, GA) displayed good bat speed with a line drive swing plane that stayed online nicely. The contact was mostly to the middle and opposite fields. Crossing had a solid round of batting practice with consistent hard contact. 




3- Black Vs. 4- Cardinal highlights

David Deaderick (2020 OF, Smyrna, GA) singled twice in the game for the Black team today. Deaderick has a level swing with a sound approach at the plate. 

Alexander Jackson (2019 OF, Venus, TX) had a good showing in the OF this morning for the Cardinal team. Jackson has a good first step with good instincts in the outfield and has the ability to run down balls in the gaps. 

Will Tynes (2020 RHP, Bossier City, LA) topped out at 86mph with his fastball mixing in his curveball at 68mph. Tynes works with good rhythm and tempo on the mound with smooth fluid mechanics. Tynes showed good feel or his curveball with tight rotation to it and his fastball gets on hitters quick as he does a good job of hiding the ball. 

Daemon Woodruff (2020 RHP, Titusville, FL) topped out at 84mph on his fastball today mixing in his curveball at 67mph. Woodruff has a quick loose arm action that works well with a balanced repeatable delivery. Woodruff has good life to his fastball and his curveball has depth to it. 
5- Col. Blue Vs. 6- Gold

Dylan Matela (2019 RHP, Alpharetta, GA) sat 86-89mph on his fastball with his curveball at 74mph. Matela has an effortless delivery throwing easy from a 3/4 arm slot. Matela attacks hitters with his fastball locating it well and does a good job off mixing in his curveball. 

Kyle Ponzo (2020 RHP/1B, Chandler, AZ) singled twice today for the Gold team today. Ponzo has a line drive approach at the plate with a quick bat and is aggressive. 

Christian Lasecki (2020 C, Panama City, FL) had two hits today including doubling in his first at bat. Lasecki has a line drive swing plane with an aggressive approach and displayed good bat speed.

Michael Kluska (2020 SS, White Sulphur Springs, WV) singled all three times he came up to the plate this afternoon. Kluska has a quick line drive swing with good feel for his barrell and makes consistent hard contact at the plate.
