Xavier Cumbee is a 2019 2B/SS/OF with a 6-0 168 lb. frame from Fort Mill, SC who attends Nation Ford HS. Slender athletic build, square shoulders, plenty of room to get stronger. Very good runner, 6.65 in the 60, can get faster with additional strength. Right handed hitter, hits from a wide base with a low hand start, has some hand quickness and hits the ball out front with a line drive swing plane, will occasionally pull his head out trying to do too much, best with a steady middle of the field approach. Second base/centerfield tools on defense, young throwing actions in the infield, has the speed and athleticism to improve defensively. Good student.
