Conner Floyd is a 2019 C/ with a 6-0 191 lb. frame from Bentonville, AR who attends LifeWay Christian School. Large frame with broad shoulders and a strong build. Primary catcher with a low, slightly side set stance while receiving the baseball. Works to a taller throwing position while coming out of crouch. Clean, efficient exchanges while working through transfer and released from a three-quarters slot. Throws produced accurate carry to the bag topping at 75 miles per hour, best workout pop time of 2.12. Left handed hitter with an upright, open stance. Created slight hand coil at load and works to contact with linear lower half actions. Barrel came through the zone cleanly while utilizing a mid field to pull side approach. Flashed the developing barrel feel to work the other way as well. Tools will continue to develop with maturity and repetition. Outstanding student as well.
