Michael Eze is a 2020 SS/2B with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Downingtown, PA who attends The Hill. Recorded a 7.03 second 60-yard dash. Athletic build with room to fill out and an aggressive baserunner who gets good burst out of the box. Primary shortstop with clean glove skills and some deliberate actions at the position. Arm strength recorded up to 77 mph across with soft hands and moves well. Righthanded hitter with an upright, slightly open stance. High hand set and a high back elbow with a heel trigger into contact. Deeper hand load with a loose, extended path to contact. Slightly lofted barrel plane through the point of extension. Up the middle approach with a narrow base to start. Fluidity to the swing path with an easy and simple trigger into contact. Repeats the swing well and can work line drives to the opposite field. Good student.
