Ethan Vecrumba is a 2019 OF/RHP with a 6-4 200 lb. frame from Bloomington, IN who attends Edgewood. Big build, athletic frame, broad shoulders with present strength throughout. Ran a 6.56 60 yard dash. Primary outfielder, smooth fielding actions with a quick exchange to hand, short and quick arm action, ball comes out cleanly with carry, throws are online and accurate with good arm strength, threw 88 mph from the outfield. Also pitched, worked exclusively from the stretch, stays tall on the backside and gathers well at the balance point, stays over the rubber and gets good push from the lower half, slight crossfire delivery, quick arm action to a high 3/4 arm slot, gets good extension out front, creating plane with the fastball, throws a heavy ball to both sides of the plate, pounded the strike zone with fastball and curveball, breaking ball showed 10-to-5 action with some depth. Lefthanded hitter, balanced and slightly open stance, rotational lower half, very quick hands with a simple plane to the ball, line drive barrel plane with raw bat speed, ball jumps off the barrel. Great student. Named to Fall Academic Top Prospect Team.
