Chandler Davis is a 2018 C/OF with a 6-0 200 lb. frame from Eastman, GA who attends Dodge County. Large frame with broad shoulders and present strength. Ran a 7.07 sixty-yard dash. Primary catcher with a lose, slightly side set stance while receiving the baseball. Gains ground while working out of crouched with explosive, athletic footwork. Clean, quick exchanges and released from a compact arm slot. Throws produced stiff, accurate carry to the bag topping at 77 miles per hour, best workout pop time of 1.83. Left handed hitter with an upright, slightly open stance. Shifts into contact with aggressively linear actions. Present bat speed and strength at contact with a naturally lifted barrel plane through extension. Repeated swing actions well and consistently hammered the baseball to all parts of the field with authority. Very good student. Named to the 2017 Fall Academic Showcase, Top Prospect List.
