Vincent Martino is a 2020 SS/2B, UT with a 5-9 175 lb. frame from Theodore, AL who attends Mcgill-Toolen Catholic HS. Recorded a 6.92 second 60-yard dash time. Shorter frame with some athleticism and strength presently. Primary shortstop with deliberate actions and fields out in front. Sits back on the ball and uses a compact arm stroke through a tight release point. Quick exchange to the throwing hand with accurate throws across and arm strength recorded up to 82 mph. Righthanded hitter with a wide base and an inside path to contact. Level swing plane with some juice and impact off the barrel when extended. Gets the barrel head out effectively and is best when working to the middle of the field on a line. Clean shift into contact and well-timed overall. Good student.
