10-Royal vs. 11-Vegas Gold Highlights

6/12/2018

Zane Faulk (2020 C, Phenix City, AL) brought his aggressive approach to the plate squaring up a double deep to right field. Faulk has some pop in his bat and was disruptive on the bases immediately stealing third after the two-bagger.

Collin Caldwell (2020 LHP, Powder Springs, GA) had an electric pair of innings on the mound topping out at 88 mph with a clean delivery. Caldwell worked in three pitches for strikes staying online with outstanding arm speed.

Aaron Nixon (2020 SS, Mission, TX) has tremendous arm strength on the mound. Nixon’s fastball stayed in the low-90s throughout his two innings with a power breaking ball up to

Alec Gonzalez (2020 SS, Chicago Heights, IL) is a primary shortstop but showed promise on the mound as well. His fastball ranged 86-89 mph coming out cleanly from a high three-quarters slot.

Brendan York (2020 SS, Buford, GA) showed present bat speed on a pair of connecting line drives up the middle. York attacks the fastball early in the count going 2-2 with a pair of singles.

Parks Harber (2020 3B, Atlanta, GA) showed good defensive actions at his corner infield position. The Georgia commit made multiple plays smoothly at third base.

7-Navy vs. 12-White

6/12/2018

Jordan Carrion (2020 SS, Miami, FL) was electric over two innings as he ran his fastball up to 90 mph with very good arm speed. The changeup is very advanced and a legit weapon with similar arm speed as the fastball and he mixed in a sharp breaking ball too.

Storm Hierholzer (2020 RHP, Austin, TX) has a low, extended arm slot that creates serious sink and run on the fastball that topped out at 89 mph. The breaking ball flashed hard, biting movement to it and was buried low in the strike zone as a swing and miss offering.

Henry Politz (2020 C, Tampa, FL) roped an in-game double that made it's way to the wall in left centerfield. Politz has a lot of strength and pull side pop as he is able to get extended and create impact strength through the point of extension.

Logan Wash (2020 OF, Longwood, FL) showed a strong three-pitch mix with a low effort arm stroke that worked his fastball up to 84 mph. He has good feel for his secondaries including a sinking changeup that hitters consistently got on top of and hit into the dirt.

Colby Halter (2020 SS, Jacksonville, FL) roped a left-on-left fastball to the pull side gap for a loud double. The ball jumps off the barrel well and Halter has the requisite bat speed and loft to his swing plane that could result in a lot of home runs.

CJ Kayfus (2020 1B, Lake Worth, FL) notched two more hits and is showing some of the best pure bat-to-ball skills int he class. Kayfus has very loose hands and can go to all fields; he posted a best run time of 4.32 seconds to first and also touched 86 mph on the mound.

Tyler Palmer (2020 OF, Columbus, NE) took advantage of an elevated fastball over the middle of the plate and got his arms extended to drive the ball off the left field wall. The power was on display in the game and during BP and he has intriguing overall hitting tools.

8-Purple vs. 9-Red Highlights

6/12/2018

Sean Ambrose (2021 SS, Miami, FL) showed his quickness around the bases and fluid stroke by ripping a double into the pull side gap. Ambrose has a small frame at 5-foot-6 155-pounds but plays with lots of energy and a high motor.

Jackson Grabsky (2020 SS, Oviedo, FL) has good plate coverage and barrel skills. Grabsky reached out on a pitch on the outer half and got the barrel to it to drive it deep to left field for a long double.

Shawn Perez (2020 OF, Cutler Bay, FL) worked a scoreless frame on the mound with a full arm action and a mid-80s fastball. Perez worked four pitches into his arsenal with a sharp slider and deceptive changeup.

Sawyer Feller (2020 C, Boca Raton, FL) showcased strength and quickness to his hands on an inside fastball deep in the count. Feller got the barrel to the baseball and hit it out in front for a long double to his pull side.

Jacob Starling (2020 SS, Orlando, FL) has a good lower half and a patient approach. He took that approach and quick hands to the baseball going 2-2 with an RBI in the game.

Trey Carter (2020 OF, Martinsville, VA) turned an inner half 84 mph fastball for a rocket double to pull side. The pitch hit the top of the wall and just missed getting out with raw bat speed and quick hands to square up the pitch.

Anthony Shaver (2020 OF, Clermont, FL) sprayed the ball where it was pitched with loose hands and good barrel control. Shaver went 2-2 with a single and an RBI double.

11-Vegas Gold vs. 12-White

6/12/2018

Masyn Winn (2020 RHP, Kingwood, TX) displayed the plate coverage and quick hands with a double to the opposite field gap; he also blazed down the line for a bunt single. Winn also showed a quick arm on the mound where he topped out at 90 mph with feel for his tight spinning breaking ball.

Jamar Fairweather (2020 RHP, Miami, FL) ran his fastball up to 90 mph early on and struck out three batters over three innings. He creates short sink out of his hand to either side of the plate, and has a positive mound presence with some power at the plate as a two-way player.

Max DeJong (2020 RHP, Powder Springs, GA) pounded the strike zone while running his fastball up to 90 mph with severe plane and short sink from an over the top arm slot. Dejong threw his breaking ball for strikes and hid the ball to help the velocity play up as he garnered a significant number of swings-and-misses with it.

Colby Halter (2020 SS, Jacksonville, FL) is an intriguing two-way prospect and projects exceptionally well on the mound. He has present arm speed and sinks the fastball well in the 88-90 mph range while he utilizes a changeup with fading action well.

Marcus Brown (2020 SS, Springdale, AR) showed good tools and bat control at the plate with a compact swing that resulted in a 94 mph single and another hard hit ball earlier. Brown stole two bags immediately after getting on and also pitched running his fastball up to 87 mph.

8-Purple vs. 10-Royal Highlights

6/12/2018

Luis Espinal (2020 3B, Miami, FL) kept his barrel in the zone for an extended amount of time while also sitting back on a curveball that he struck down the left field line. Espinal’s double kept his strong two days at the plate going.

Wyatt Crowell (2020 LHP, Cumming, GA) topped out at 87 mph with his fastball mixing in a sharp slider in the mid-70s. Crowell fires from a crossfire delivery and a quick arm that produces good velocity for his size.

Andrew Painter (2021 RHP, Pompano Beach, FL) projects extremely well both physically and on the mound. His fastball topped out at 90 mph in his first inning from his very low effort delivery and loose effortless arm action.

Brayden Rowe (2020 RHP, Warrior, AL) ran his fastball up to 90 mph from his athletic and simple delivery. He is able to repeat his delivery well and mixed in a curveball with tight rotation and hard late bite.

Ben Vespi (2020 RHP, Boynton Beach, FL) has a very clean and fluid delivery. Vespi has polished mechanics with a loose arm action that really works. The UCF commit threw three pitches for strikes while his changeup was most effective with deceptive maintained arm speed.

Alek Boychuk (2020 C, Buford, GA)
put a really strong swing on pitch over the plate and squared it up right back up the middle for a single. The ball left his barrel at 96 mph with plenty of bat speed and leverage.

Jayden Melendez (2021 C, Palmetto Bay, FL) squared up a home run to his pull side. Melendez connected showing leverage to pull and a high launch angle.

7-Navy vs. 9-Red

6/12/2018

Brandt Pancer (2020 RHP, Suwanee, GA) worked a very quick and efficient two innings on the mound while running his fastball up to 88 mph and striking out four. Pancer has very good feel for his breaking ball and has clean mechanics and a fluid delivery.

Michael Brooks (2020 SS, Wellington, FL) took advantage of a high fastball and got his hands extended to drive it into the pull side gap for a double. Brooks is an all around impressive player and made a very smooth play up the middle ranging to his left to nab a runner.

Juhlien Gonzalez (2021 3B, Southwest Ranches, FL) showed quick hands and the ability to turn the barre over the inside as he took a low and in fastball down the pull side line for a hard hit double. Gonzalez has impressive raw bat speed and feel for the barrel, a rare combination for a young prospect.

CJ Kayfus (2020 1B, Lake Worth, FL) has a fluid and fast swing with loose hands that allow him to cover the plate well. Kayfus' present bat speed lends the way to potential power to all fields and he took an outer half fastball and drove it to the opposite field.

11-Vegas Gold vs. 12-White Highlights

6/12/2018

Liam Norris (2020 LHP, Cary, NC) is a physical lefthander who projects well physically and on the mound. Norris topped out at 94 mph with his fastball with a pair of breaking ball offerings in his slider up to 87 mph and curveball up to 81 mph.

Alex Logusch (2020 SS, St. Louis, MO) put his hit tool and foot speed on display in the game. Logusch, an Indiana commit, turned first base with a 4.61-second time on a barreled up double to the pull side gap.

Nate Savino (2020 LHP, Sterling, VA) topped out at 92 mph with his fastball from his extended three-quarters arm slot. Savino pitches with a long arm action with drop and drive actions.

Hunter Elliott (2021 LHP, Tupelo, MS) was lights out in his two inning stint. Elliott struck out four batters with a three pitch mix. His fastball topped out at 86 mph mixing in a good fading changeup while maintaining his arm speed.

Batting Practice Highlights Teams 11-12

6/11/2018

Dominic Johnson (2020 OF, Edmond, OK) showed fluidity to his stroke with ease spraying balls to either side of the field with high exit velocities. Johnson squared up a lot of baseballs with a couple of deep drives to his pull side flashing his pop.

Jake Killingsworth (2020 C, Headland, AL) generates plenty of bat speed and hits the ball out in front with smoothness. Killingsworth had a loud round of batting practice showing strength through contact.

Caden Grice (2020 LHP, Greer, SC) has present bat speed in his stroke. He also showed the ability to turn on the baseball and hit it out in front. Grice really flashed the potential pop in his bat from his highly projectable 6-foot-5 200-pound frame.

Alex Osuna (2020 OF, Los Mochis, SI) showed strength off of the barrel from both sides of the plate. Osuna has some rotational actions to his stoke but it plays well as he is able to connect consistently on the barrel of his bat.

Hunter Elliott (2021 LHP, Tupelo, MS) showcased leverage on one pitch in particular that he drove out of the park for a home run. He also played his barrel skills well into the round spraying balls all over the field but primarily to his pull side.

Orlando Salinas (2020 SS, Corpus Christi, TX) has real bat speed and flashed pop as well. Salinas has plenty of quickness to his hands and can repeatedly hit the ball out in front on the nose.

Mike (MJ) Rodriguez (2020 C, Corpus Christi, TX) has big-time bat speed in his stroke with the ability to drive the ball very deep to the pull side. Rodriguez connected on a pair of home runs in batting practice with good launch angles and raw pop.

Masyn Winn (2020 RHP, Kingwood, TX) has outstanding strength for his size and he showed that on a long home run to his pull side during his round. He flashed bat speed and high exit velocities during his round.

9-Red vs. 10-Royal Highlights

6/11/2018

Jovan Gill (2020 RHP, Overland Park, KS) struck out four batters through his three innings that saw him run his fastball up to 90 mph. There's some funk to his delivery and he hides the ball well which helps his stuff play up. There's short sink to the fastball and the breaking ball was a nice offering with sharp 12/6 shape.

Kellum Clark (2020 1B, Jackson, MS) jumped all over a middle of the plate fastball to rocket a ball high off the top of the fence in right centerfield. Clark has tremendous strength and balance in his swing with the ability to violently impact the ball.

Jackson Huguley (2020 1B, Phenix City, AL) also showed some extra base strength with a hard hit double to the pull side gap. Huguley has some natural loft to his swing with the ability to hit for home run power to the pull side.

Parks Harber (2020 3B, Atlanta, GA) notched two hits on the afternoon and included an RBI single that was well-struck off the pitcher. Harber worked to the pull and middle of the field while he shows very good bat speed and natural leverage through the point of extension.

Aaron Nixon (2020 SS, Mission, TX) took an elevated fastball over the outer half and showed very good impact strength and plate coverage by driving it to the opposite field for a double. Nixon has strength to all fields and he one-hopped the opposite field wall.

Zane Faulk (2020 C, Phenix City, AL) showed off his hose by throwing out two base runners at second base during the game. Faulk recorded the best arm strength of the event with an 85 mph arm behind the plate and has an extremely quick release.

Jake Gelof (2020 SS, Rehoboth Beach, DE) displayed pretty solid barrel control to go with a running fastball and drive the fastball to the opposite field with intent. The ball jumps off the barrel and he employs a present gap-to-gap approach.

Alex Edmondson (2020 RHP, Simpsonville, SC) has a loose and fast arm while creating significant angle and arm side run to the plate. The fastball worked up to 91 mph with a very good, swing-and-miss slider with late bite; Edmondson struck out two over two scoreless.

Michael Fowler (2020 RHP, Trussville, AL) showed fairly electric arm speed with a fastball that topped out at 91 mph with some sinking life. Fowler showed a breaking ball with good spin but the projection and arm speed all indicate big velocity in his future.

7-Navy vs 8-Purple Highlights

6/11/2018

Timothy Manning (2020 LHP, Pompano Beach, FL) ran his fastball up to 88 mph and sat in the upper-80s consistently. Manning throws with low effort from a full arm stroke that projects for more in the future.

Lucas Nido (2020 MIF, Miami, FL) sprayed a line drive double to the pull side gap in his first at-bat of the day. Nido showed contact skills and the ability to sit back on breaking pitches.

Matthew Cassandra (2020 OF, Cumming, GA) connected on a ground-rule double to the opposite field. Cassandra has a professional approach with advanced barrel skills to all fields.

Coby Mayo (2020 3B, Coral Springs, FL) mashed a line drive double to the pull side. The baseball left his bat at 98 mph getting his hands to the baseball quickly showing leverage to the stroke.

Joel Perez Jr. (2020 SS, Miramar, FL) showed good defensive actions at shortstop during the game. He followed the strong infield play by squaring up a single through the left side that left his bat in a hurry.

Jayden Melendez (2021 C, Palmetto Bay, FL) had a pair of hits in the game going 2-2 with both knocks to the opposite field. Melendez has a balanced stroke with good barrel skills.

Charlie Taylor (2020 C, Dunwoody, GA) singled up the middle in each of his at-bats. His swing is easy with plenty of bat speed generated from his quick hands.

Luis Espinal (2020 3B, Miami, FL) hit a no-doubter home run to his pull side. Espinal showed leverage and raw pop connected on the pitch and hitting it square.

Batting Practice Highlights Teams 7-10

6/11/2018

Jordan Carrion (2020 SS, Miami, FL) connected on consistent line drives to all fields during his round. The Florida commit showed a fluid stroke with his hands moving directly to the baseball.

Dylan Crews (2020 OF, Longwood, FL) repeatedly showed big raw bat speed with high exit velocities to all parts of the field. He connected on a pair of home runs to his pull side showing his big-time pop.

Coby Mayo (2020 3B, Coral Springs, FL) has a longer swing with some natural loft to it that produced a home run on the first pitch he saw. He flashed bat speed and some extension through contact.

Logan Wash (2020 OF, Longwood, FL) has an inverted leg lift trigger into his stride that leads to lots of barreled contact. Wash keeps his hands inside the baseball spraying the ball from gap to gap.

Wyatt Langford (2020 1B, Trenton, FL) has strong forearms that help him create big-time bat speed and his quick hands to the baseball. Langford has plenty of pop with juice especially to the opposite field gap.

CJ Kayfus (2020 1B, Lake Worth, FL) showcased a fast and loose swing. Kayfus’s stroke is very relaxed and controlled with quickness to his hands that play really well into his swing. He roped multiple balls on the barrel especially to the pull side.

Joshua Allen (2020 LHP, Oviedo, FL) generates a ton of leverage into his path and swing. He turned a lot of heads with his raw power to the pull side. Allen put several balls out to right field with raw bat speed and lots of lift.

Jayden Melendez (2021 C, Palmetto Bay, FL) has a level swing plane with a big leg lift trigger. Melendez swings with intent and flashed some power during round.

Justin Quintana (2021 OF, Miramar, FL) sets up with a crouched stance and present bat speed. Quintana repeats his swing with very good hands, tons of barrel and leverage when chooses.

Alex Ulloa's (2021 SS, Cutler Bay, FL) hands work well into his swing and torqueing his lower half nicely generating some leverage. Ulloa can turn the barrel over with his fast hands and present bat speed.

Marcus Franco (2021 1B, Miramar, FL) has a big leg lift trigger into his swing that creates loud contact. Franco swings very easy and the baseball jumps when he is on time especially when hitting the ball out in front.

Juhlien Gonzalez (2021 3B, Southwest Ranches, FL) found a lot of barrel during his round and flashed some power as well. He has plenty of quickness to his bat and gets his leg lift down on time for good contact skills.

Anthony Shaver (2020 OF, Clermont, FL) has plenty of bat speed and he showed that with high exit velocities especially to the middle of the field. Shaver sprayed the ball to all fields finding the barrel with good contact skills.

Grayson Moore (2020 OF, Longwood, FL) is a switch hitter that showed tools to work with from both sides. He showed plenty of balance to his swing from both sides with a line drive swing plane and approach that he executed during his round.

John (TJ) Curd (2020 1B, Port Saint Lucie, FL) showed big-time raw power to his pull side. Curd hit the longest home run of the day displaying plenty of extension out in front and leverage as well.

Kellum Clark (2020 1B, Jackson, MS) is a physical first baseman with plenty of strength off the barrel and through contact. The baseball jumps off of his barrel as he showed power to the gap.

Colin Apgar (2020 OF, Bradenton, FL) put the barrel to the baseball consistently to his pull side. Apgar put a couple of baseballs out of the park to his pull side torqueing it well and hitting the ball out in front.

Alec Gonzalez (2020 SS, Chicago Heights, IL) has a downhill swing plane that projects nicely. He has quickness to his hands showing lots of hard contact to his pull side and to the middle of the field.

Parks Harber (2020 3B, Atlanta, GA) showed quick hands and gets to the baseball directly. Harber has present bat speed and worked gap to gap with strength to his swing.

4-Gold vs. 5-Green Highlights

6/10/2018

Davis Shackelford (2020 OF, Nemo, TX) pitched two innings with five strikeouts. He is a big built pitcher with a fastball up to 88 mph and a curveball that flashed tight rotation.

Michael Braswell (2021 SS, Mableton, GA) worked a clean two innings on the mound. Braswell’s fastball ran up to 88 mph with plenty of angle especially when down in the zone. From a longer arm action, Braswell mixed three pitches for strikes that included a sinking changeup.

Vince Smith (2020 SS, Charleston, SC) is a quick twitch athlete who squared up a single in the game. Smith has really quick hands and a knack to put the barrel to the ball.

Alex Freeland (2020 SS, Cape Coral, FL) showed quickness to his hands on an inside fastball that he struck to the pull side for a line drive single. Freeland is a high energy player with good foot speed and athleticism.

Thomas Dilandri (2021 OF, Las Vegas, NV) barreled a baseball to the pull side gap for a double in the game. The uncommitted physical outfielder has raw strength to contact and loud pop when on time.

Sebastian “Bazz” Jimenez (2020 C, Miami, FL) went 2-2 with a pair of singles and an RBI. Jimenez is an athletic catcher with good barrel skills to all fields.

1-Black vs. 6-Grey Highlights

6/10/2018

Cade Horton (2020 SS, Norman, OK) showed off the barrel skills again with a loud triple to the pull side. Horton has good present pull pop and also pitched, running his fastball up to 90 mph and featuring a sharp, swing-and-miss curveball.

Jack Bulger (2020 C, Bowie, MD) has outstanding bat speed and punished a hard hit double off the wall in left field that drove in a run. Bulger's righthanded power has been very impressive and he also has a weapon in the arm behind the dish as he popped a 2.00 second time to catch a runner.

Xavier Cruz (2020 OF, Franklin Square, NY) stayed with an outer half fastball and drove it to the opposite field for a triple. Cruz is a good athlete with a powerful righthanded swing and hustled around the bases to get to third base rather easily.

Nate Clow (2020 SS, Federal Way, WA) worked with a power pitcher's mentality as he pounded the strike zone and elevated his fastball well. The pitch worked up to 88 mph with a short arm stroke and he mixed in a curveball up to 77 mph as he struck out two batters in his scoreless, 1-2-3 frame.

Kelly Crumpton (2021 SS, Jackson, MS) had a hard hit single up the middle during the game today with a smooth projectable swing path. He also has some serious arm strength on the mound and ran his fastball up to 90 mph.

Blaze Jordan (2021 1B, Southaven, MS) is an intriguing two-way player with potential on the mound. The delivery and mechanics are unorthodox, but he has a quick short arm stroke that runs his fastball up to 90 mph with good sink and a changeup with significant tumble downward.

2-Cardinal vs. 3 Columbia Blue Highlights

6/10/2018

Robert Moore (2020 SS, Leawood, KS) showed his outstanding infield actions and raw hit tool in the game. Making multiple plays on slow rollers look smooth and going the other way for a double to left field, Moore showed the full standout tools of his game.

Keegan Allen (2021 OF, Rogers, AR) has an up tempo delivery with a clean arm stroke. Allen pitched two scoreless frames with two strikeouts and topped out at 89 mph with his fastball.

Benjamin Wiegman (2020 RHP, Antioch, IL)
showed good velocity sitting 89-92 mph. The 6-foot-3 205-pound righthander has a very low effort delivery and the baseball jumps out of his hand.

Lukas Cook (2020 SS, Knoxville, TN)
pitched a perfect inning of relief with a deliberate delivery and an upper-80s fastball that touched 90. Cook has a compact arm action with a three pitch mix for strikes.

Nicholas Griffin (2020 OF, Monticello, AR) was outstanding on the mound in his two innings of scoreless relief. The lefthander topped out at 91 mph with five strikeouts and a very good curveball with depth.

Alex Greene (2020 OF, Edgewater, MD) jumped on the first pitch he saw and sent it into the pull side gap for a triple. Greene is an ultra -physical outfielder with good speed and raw bat speed.

5-Green vs. 6-Grey Highlights

6/10/2018

Blaze Jordan (2021 1B, Southaven, MS) took advantage of a hanging changeup and punished the ball to the pull side gap for a double. Jordan has excellent bat speed and power and doesn't let mistakes like those go unpunished.

Cade Horton (2020 SS, Norman, OK) showed excellent plate coverage and strength by going with an outer half fastball over the right fielder's head for a triple. The strength exudes off Horton's barrel head and the righthanded hitter has very projectable and presently impressive hitting tools.

Joseph Dixon (2020 RHP, South Jordan, UT) worked 89-91 with his power fastball that flashed some run over to the arm side. Dixon has very good arm speed, with a clean arm stroke in the back and showed three pitches including a 12/6 curveball that projects as an out pitch.

Carson Montgomery (2020 RHP, Windermere, FL) showed very exciting tools on the mound touching 94 mph early and featuring a true swing-and-miss slider. He sinks the fastball well but the slider is the draw here, as the pitch projects extremely well with biting action.

Grant Trinkle (2020 OF, Columbus, IN) has very quick hands and is able to spoil a bunch of tough pitches at the plate. Trinkle is an excellent athlete and runner, posted a best home-to-first time of 4.14 seconds, and he absolutely drove a fastball that bounced over the wall in center for a ground rule double.

Kyle Casper (2020 OF, El Cajon, CA) is an intriguing two-way prospect as he is up to 89 mph on the mound with a 12/6 curveball. The bat stood out in-game as he took a 90 mph low-and-in fastball way deep to left field for a mammoth home run.

Adam Arroyo (2020 C, Laguna Niguel, CA) kept his hands inside nicely to pull an inner half fastball down the line for a double. Arroyo has more of a level swing plane with looseness to his hands and the ability to adjust to touch pitch locations.

Ryan Lynch (2020 LHP, Granger, IN) creates lots of plane from his over the top arm slot and a fastball that tops out at 88 mph. Lynch tunnels his curveball with his fastball well to create deception and empty swings while he also pulled a hard hit double down the 3B line to showcase the bat speed.

2-Cardinal vs. 4-Gold Highlights

6/10/2018

Josh Shuler (2020 OF, Suwanee, GA) put a strong swing on a ball that left his bat at 96 mph and sprayed it to the opposite field gap for a double. He also showed his good speed by rounding the first base bag with a 4.58 second home to first time with a turn.

Cade Udell (2020 RHP, Longwood, FL) had a nice three innings on the mound running his fastball up to 89 mph. Udell has a physical frame and a full arm action that really works his arsenal of three pitches with feel nicely.

Dylan Carmouche (2020 LHP, Denham Springs, LA) varied his deliveries and arm angles nicely with a fastball up to 86 mph. The 6-foot-5 205-pound southpaw has a compact arm action and a feel for three pitches with the big curveball being the go-to.

Jordan Peyton (2020 SS, Colonial Beach, VA) has a small frame but showed good velocity on the mound that was maintained throughout. Topping out at 87 mph, Peyton filled up the zone nicely with his fastball and his low-70s curveball facing the minimum in two frames.

Brooks Rice (2020 RHP, Madison, MS) put a good swing on the baseball ripping it right back up the middle for a base hit. Rice showed good bat speed and barrel skill by hitting the baseball right on the nose.

1-Black vs. 3-Columbia Highlights

6/10/2018

Camden Minacci (2020 RHP, Tampa, FL) showed a loose projectable arm stroke with requisite speed and the frame for additional velocity. He ran his fastball up to 88 mph with life and mixed in a tight breaking slider that could be thrown for strikes or used for chases as he racked up four strikeouts.

Robert Moore (2020 SS, Leawood, KS) showed off very good defensive actions again in-game. He made a ranging play in the 6-hole to his right where he jumped and threw a strike across his body to get the runner at second; two plays later he made a tough play charging in to nail the runner at first.

Cayden Wallace (2020 3B, Greenbrier, AR) worked his fastball up to 91 mph with short sink when down in the strike zone. Wallace has a fast and compact arm circle which allows him to get on top of the pitch well and mixed in a soft curveball in the low-70s.

Jack O'Dowd (2020 SS, Boca Grande, FL) laced an opposite field double that scored two runners in the final frame. O'Dowd has loose hands and present bat speed and displayed the plate coverage to go with an outside fastball.

5-Green vs. 6-Grey Highlights

6/9/2018

Daxton Fulton (2020 LHP, Oklahoma City, OK) mixed in three pitches for strikes from a short arm action. His fastball was up to 89 mph with a changeup that complimented the fastball nicely. He also mixed in a really good curveball that showed sharp bite from his projectable 6-foot-6 220-pound frame.

Ross Dunn (2020 LHP, Salt Lake City, UT) ran his fastball up to 90 mph today with lots of life to armside from his low effort delivery. Dunn releases from an extended three-quarters arm slot with a plus changeup for strikes and a significant amount of fade.

Jackson Phipps (2020 LHP, Dallas, GA) worked his fastball in the 88-92 mph range with significant life. The lefthander has a lean and projectable frame with a crossfire delivery adding deception. He gets good extension out in front with a feel to spin the fastball and his frisbee slider.

Chad Born (2020 OF, Placentia, CA) showed his aggressive approach and good barrel skills in game. The outfielder from California ripped a single back up the middle that left his barrel in a hurry.

Jace Bohrofen (2020 OF, Oklahoma City, OK) put a strong swing on a fastball and split the pull side gap for a double. He really whips the barrel through the zone with good extension out in front.

Noah Smith (2021 SS, Chicago, IL) showed good balance and smoothness to his hands during the game making a couple of difficult plays on either side. He also ripped a single up the middle.

Rhett Lowder (2020 RHP, Albemarle, NC) releases from a true three-quarters slot and worked a pair of strong frames with a fastball up to 86 mph. Lowder shows three pitches including a 12-to-6 curveball and a sinking changeup.

Batting Practice Highlights Teams 5-6

6/9/2018

Brandon Fields (2020 OF, Orlando, FL) showed a level swing plane and loud pop to both gaps but especially to pull side. Fields has significant bat speed and high exit velocities throughout his round.

Garret Guillemette (2020 C, Yorba Linda, CA), committed to Oregon, creates natural leverage in his swing with torque from his hips. Guilemette showed lots of power to the pull side and big strength.

Connor Simon (2021 SS, Mandeville, LA) has a balanced swing with a downhill plane. The LSU commit sprayed line drives to all fields with raw tools at the plate.

Thomas Dilandri (2021 OF, Las Vegas, NV) had a loud round of batting practice. Connecting on multiple balls showing his gap power, Dilandri has real bat speed and strength through contact.

Jace Bohrofen (2020 OF, Oklahoma City, OK) whips the barrel through the hitting zone. Bohrofen has some loft to his swing with impact strength and extension out in front.

Chad Born (2020 OF, Placentia, CA) showcased quick hands and an inside path to the baseball. He flashed some bat speed and strength off of the barrel from gap to gap during his round.

Blaze Jordan (2021 1B, Southaven, MS) displayed the raw strength and leverage that we have seen for a few years now. He has such a strong swing extending through contact with strength even through contact.

Jack Bulger (2020 C, Bowie, MD) showed elite bat speed with raw pop as well. One of the louder rounds of the afternoon session, Bulger showed his strength and power specifically to the pull side.

3-Columbia vs. 4-Gold Highlights

6/9/2018

Irving Carter (2021 RHP, Boynton Beach, FL) showed very good arm strength as he ran his fastball in the 88-90 mph range consistently for his two inning stint. The righthander creates significant plane when leveraged low in the strike zone whiel mixing in a curveball and very impressive changeup with sinking action and confidence.

Will Tynes (2020 RHP, Bossier City, LA) pounded the strike zone for two innings while living in the 83-86 mph range with his fastball showing short run to both sides. Tynes has very good feel for his 11/5 curveball with tilt and lots of depth and with a fast, loose arm stroke projects nicely.

Alex Greene (2020 OF, Edgewater, MD) went 1-2 on the afternoon with a hard hit double in the beginning of the game to drive home a runner. Greene hustled around the bases and has lots of impact strength through extension.

Robert Moore (2020 SS, Leawood, KS) notched an RBI double to the pull side but more impressively stood out for his defensive actions. Moore moves very gracefully with twitch and smoothness and is an automatic out up the middle.

Cayden Wallace (2020 3B, Greenbrier, AR) took an outer half fastball to the opposite field for a hard hit single, and also showed off the arm strength as he made a highlight reel play moving to his right in foul territory at third base to nail a batter trying to record a hit.

Isaiah Jackson (2020 OF, Savoy, IL) recorded an infield single and really stood out for his end line speed and baserunning instincts. Jackson stole three bases during the game and recorded a best run time of 4.11 seconds to first base, a plus time from the right side.

Ryan Bruno (2020 LHP, Wellington, FL) ran his fastball up to 89 mph from the left side with lots of life out of the hand and very clean mechanics. The young southpaw projects very nicely and also mixed in a frisbee slider and a changeup that got outs for him.

1-Black vs 2-Cardinal Highlights

6/9/2018

Charez Butcher (2020 RHP, Kokomo, IN) is a lean and projectable righthander with a fast arm and a low effort delivery. Butcher topped out at 94 mph on the mound with a crossfire delivery and made righthanded hitters' at-bats very uncomfortable.

Lukas Cook (2020 SS, Knoxville, TN) sat on a breaking ball to knock one of his two singles of the game. Cook is a physical shortstop and righthanded hitter who showed his raw hit tool during the contest.

Logan Austin (2020 RHP, Salem, AL) topped out at 93 mph with occasional life to armside. Austin throws with some effort but was able to get to both sides of the plate with the heater. Austin flashed a pair of big-time pitches in his fading changeup up to 81 mph and his 11-to-5 curveball in the upper-70s.

Yohandy Morales (2020 SS, Miami, FL) displayed his clean defensive skills and all-around glove work in game making multiple nice plays. Morales is an athletic player who fits right in up the middle of the infield.

Michael "MC" Sagaro (2020 2B, Davie, FL) knocked a pair of singles in the game with good contact skills. The small framed Sagaro has advanced bat to barrel skills with a knack for hitting the baseball to the middle of the field.

Tommy O'Rourke (2020 RHP, Morristown, NJ) has clean mechanics to his delivery with a full arm action and plenty of angle. He stays online and topped out at 89 with a solid three pitch mix.

Ryan McCauley (2020 RHP, Trinity, FL) is a big and physical righthander who projects for more velocity in the future. He topped out at 87 with a splitter that he showed plus feel for. The pitch danced similar to a knuckleball and dove downward late.

Batting Practice Highlights Teams 1-4

6/9/2018

Albert Hernandez (2020 RHP, Davie, FL) put his power and strength to his swing on display during his round of batting practice. Hernandez is an all around strong player with leverage in the swing as he connected on three home runs to his pull side.

Ethan Alston (2021 SS, Hammond, LA) showcased his quick hands to the baseball with gap-to-gap strength. There is present bat speed in Alston’s swing and it plays well into his swing as each ball he hit in his round was well struck.

Triston Horst (2021 OF, Lititz, PA) has a simple load into his swing that generates plenty of strength to contact. The uncommitted outfielder has strong and quick wrists and is best when pulling the baseball.

Corbin Shaw (2020 3B, Conyers, GA)
has raw bat speed and big pop when on time. Shaw is a physical player who has the ability to make the baseball jump off of his bat when on time to contact.

Samuel Infante (2020 SS, Hialeah, FL) put his loose hands and bat speed to display during Saturday’s early batting practice round. The Miami commit has a fluid swing with a line drive swing plane and natural loft as he connected on a home run as well.

Josh Shuler (2020 OF, Suwanee, GA)
is a very athletic outfielder and his athleticism shows up in his swing. With gap to gap pop and quick hands, Shuler has a fluid stroke that projects for more power moving forward.

Brooks Rice (2020 RHP, Madison, MS) is a commitment to LSU who stood out at the plate with his bat speed and looseness to his stroke. Rice displayed a clean swing path with pull side to middle of the field fly ball contact when on time.

Beau Stuckey (2020 SS, Fayetteville, AR) has a fluid swing path with quick hands. It played nicely into his easy swing that sprayed baseballs to either gap with ease.

Robert Moore (2020 SS, Leawood, KS)
showed a balanced swing and simple stride into contact. The switch hitter gets extended out in front with a clean swings and loose hands especially from the left side.

Nicholas Griffin (2020 OF, Monticello, AR) displays a downhill swing plane with quickness to his hands. Griffin flashed extension and struck multiple balls well during his round.

Sam Ruta (2020 SS, Yardley, PA)
has some bat speed present in his swing. Ruta, an uncommitted shortstop, gets extended with some leverage and fluid hands taking one of the better rounds of the early round.

Braylon Bishop (2021 OF, Ashdown, AR) swings with intent and really whips the barrel through the hitting zone. Bishop has fluidity to his path while looking to elevate to the pull side.

Alex Freeland (2020 SS, Cape Coral, FL) leverages his swing well and creates separation. Freeland showcased consistent ability to hit the baseball on the barrel with a short swing and decent bat speed.

Cooper Porter (2020 SS, Cedar Grove, NC) is a switch hitting shortstop with quick loose hands from both sides. Porter has more pop from the right side but still has the ability to hit hard line drives with fluidity from either batters box.

Asher Akridge (2020 OF, Gainesville, FL) is a very projectable outfielder who has loose hands and ease to his stroke. His hands are extremely quick as he ripped line drives to the pull side.

Davis Shackelford (2020 OF, Nemo, TX) has a simple and low effort swing. Shackelford has quick hands and bat speed with natural loft and he repeats it well.

Vince Smith (2020 SS, Charleston, SC) has real bat speed and consistently roped balls to the pull side during his round. The LSU commit whips the barrel through the hitting zone as he wore out the pull side wall.
