Tyler Neely (2021 OF, Union City,
GA) had the most
impressive round of the day with the most consistently barreled balls throughout.
Neely showed a pure hitting stroke with driven balls all over the field from a
swing with above average bat speed and slight lift in the path. The ball jumps
off his barrel and he shows present strength with future above average power
potential.
Hunter Vandiver (2019 C,
Huntsville, AL)
shows bat speed with a pull-side, power approach. Vandiver impacts the ball
well and shows natural lift in his swing path with minimal weight transfer.
Future power potential is present.
Cameron Wayt (2019 OF, Ashburn, VA) has present physical strength in
the hands and wrists with above average bat speed. He has slight lift through
contact and shows the ability to make the ball jump when centered in the
barrel.
Matt Tyson (2019 C, Zolfo Springs, FL) shows an aggressive pull-side
power approach from an upright and narrow stance. Tyson looks to elevate with
natural lift in his swing path and it is complimented with present bat speed
and strength that impacts the ball hard consistently.
Jack Cooper (2019 SS,
Edwardsvillle, IL)
displayed a solid feel for laying the barrel on the ball with a flatter path through
the zone and a middle-of-the-field line drive approach while showing a level of
raw power in his swing.
Justin Doyle (2019 RHP, Spokane,
WA) uses a leg
lift trigger into solid weight transfer with a pull-side power approach at the
plate. He displays present strength and a level of raw power in the bat.
Kellen Ward (2018 1B, Montgomery,
AL) shows a feel
for consistently hard barrel contact with above-average bat speed and a
pull-side power approach. There is more power potential with the slight lift in
his swing path.
Austin Kenyon (2019 LHP,
Wilmington, NC)
shows present strength and bat speed to the pull side with raw power that
projects for more in the future. Power outweighs the hit tool presently because
it is real.
Angel Gutierrez (2019 3B, Miami,
FL) exhibits
present strength and above average power potential in a swing that is highly
rotational with lift through contact and is pull side dominant.
Carter Park (2019 RHP, Eads, TN) has a short swing with present
feel for squaring the ball in the barrel with an up-the-middle approach at the
plate. Makes consistent solid contact with future power potential.
Ross Friedrick (2019 C, Alpharetta,
GA) has a slight
weight shift into contact with present strength and bat speed. He displays pull
side power and makes hard contact with his power outweighing his present hit
tool.
Jack Tomich (2019 3B, Lithia, FL) hits from a wider base with plenty
of bat speed to support his aggressive, power approach at the plate. He shows
advanced feel for the barrel of the bat with present raw power.
Parker Boldt (2019 2B, Cumming, GA) has a fluid swing with slight lift
through contact and shows a feel for centering the ball in the barrel. Boldt
uses a middle, to pull side approach and impacts the ball with consistency.
Trey Cloud (2020 LHP, Lyons, GA) uses a flatter swing plane and
line drive approach to generate consistently hard contact with bat speed and a
knack for finding the barrel.
Will Clark (2019 OF, Cumming, GA) shows an above average hit tool
presently with slight lift in the swing path with loose actions and rhythm.
Clark displays power potential in the bat with added strength.
Justin Nam (2019 3B, Los Altos
Hills, CA) showed
strength and power through the gaps with bat speed and a pull-side power
approach. The ball jumps off his barrel when centered with slight lift and
backspin.
Keshav Narendra-Babu (2019 OF,
Pembroke Pines, FL)
uses a pull-side power approach, present strength and bat speed to impact balls
with loud powerful contact. His present raw power is solid and he impacts balls
hard in the barrel of the bat.
Dusty Mercer (2020 LHP, Matthews,
NC) shows leverage
and pull side power from a wide base with solid extension through contact. His
present power outweighs his hit tool but has the skills to improve.
Manuel Lopez (2020 SS, Fort Wayne,
IN) displayed a
short and compact swing with feel for centering the ball in the barrel. He has
a pure line drive approach and consistently finds the barrel of the bat.
Garret Cook (2019 OF, Plainfield,
IL) consistently
found the barrel of the bat from an upright and narrow stance, showing a short
swing, with a pull side approach and slight lift in his swing path through
contact.
Michael Ciminiello (2020 1B, Saint
James, NY) uses a
wide base and a leg swing trigger to create leverage at contact with a power
approach at the plate. He uses his lower half well with present strength.
Kyle Chmielewski (2019 SS,
McKinney, TX) uses
a gap to gap approach at the plate with slight lift in his swing path and solid
bat speed to create consistently hard contact on a line off the bat.
Andy Bean (2019 LHP, Fisherville,
TN) displays solid
weight transfer in his swing to generate solid bat speed. Even with a pull side
approach, he is more of a consistent line drive hitter.
Griffin Boykin (2019 2B, Jesup, GA) displayed a line drive swing path
with slight lift through contact with solid bat speed to compliment a
middle-away approach at the plate.
Hunter Schwartz (2019 C,
Germantown, TN)
hits from an open stance with a wide base while showing a loose swing with pop
in the bat. His pull power approach flashes present strength with bat speed.
Michael Musser (2019 OF, Marietta,
GA) uses a simple
and compact swing to compliment a line drive approach at the plate. He showed
the ability to barrel the ball well with solid timing at the plate.
Jake Bloss (2019 3B, Greensboro,
NC) utilizes a
simple set up and line drive approach at the plate to show consistent feel for
creating hard contact with slight lift through impact. He displays present
strength and bat speed as well.
