Ernest Adendorff (2019 RHP, Moorpark, CA) Listed as a primary pitcher but impressed while at the plate as well. Adendorff utilized a simple, repeatable line drive swing plane that consistently produced hard contact throughout batting practice.
Michael Christian Herrera (2018 OF, Oxnard, CA) The 6-foot, 190-pound outfielder generated good shift into contact and launched to contact on a direct, compact path. Herrera showed good fluidity throughout his swing and drove the ball to each gap with authority.
Nick Poss (2020 C, Discovery Bay, CA) The 2020 catcher flashed mature, polished actions while at the plate. Worked through extension on a slightly lifted plane that generated good carry off the barrel. Poss consistently repeated his barrel path with the ability to work to all fields.
Nolin Shervais (2020 SS, Castro Valley, CA) Swung with intent on a loose, extended barrel path. Shervais generated good bat speed when creating extension out front and produced hard, loud contact when on time and squared.
Vaughn Mauterer (2019 C, San Rafael, CA) The 2019 grad utilized a high contact approach with a simple, direct swing path. Mauterer flashes some natural leverage when connecting with baseball out front, consistently working to each gap throughout batting practice.
Estevan Castle (2019 C, San Pablo, CA) Controlled the barrel well throughout the zone and showed the ability to hit to all fields. Consistently delivered the barrel through the baseball generating hard, rising line drives throughout batting practice.
Zachary Ellsworth (2018 MIF, Pittsburg, CA) Swung with intent and looked to lift the baseball with present bat speed and strength at contact. Primarily worked to the middle of the field, but flashed the ability to turn the barrel and work to pull side as well.
Nick Wall (2019 OF, Santa Rosa, CA) The 6-foot, 188-pound outfield showed good present strength with raw power while at the plate. Wall utilized a direct path to contact while looking to drive the baseball with authority. When on time, ball jumped off the barrel producing solid carry to each gap.
Cooper Gardner (2019 3B, Oakley, CA) Gardner showed good balance throughout his swing with a direct, compact swing plane. Showed good barrel control, consistently working to all fields with fluidity.
Michael Hamp (2018 RHP, Rocklin, CA) Hamp utilized a simple, high contact approach and consistently repeated a line drive swing plane. Generated some lift when working to pull side producing solid carry to the gap.
Elvin Delic (2021 SS, Elk Grove, CA) The 2021 grad showed a very mature approach while at the plate consistently producing sharp line drives on a clean, fluid bat path.
