Aaron Fishman is a 2018 SS/RHP, C, IF, OF with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Cypress, CA who attends River Springs Charter School. Medium frame with a lean, athletic build. Frame projects for additional strength while maintaining athleticism. Ran a 7.05 sixty-yard dash. Primary shortstop, stays low while moving through the baseball with clean glove actions while funneling. Flashed fluid lower half footwork with solid range when working to glove side. Released from a compact three-quarters arm slot producing accurate carry to the bag at 77 miles per hour. Also worked out defensively from the outfield showing deliberate footwork while closing to the baseball. Clean exchanges and utilized a shorter take back before releasing from a compact three-quarters arm slot. Throws showed uphill carry to the bag, topped at 76 miles per hour. Right handed hitter with an upright, even stance and simple toe tap trigger. Works to contact with rotational lower half actions. Loose path to baseball with a level, line drive barrel plane through extension. Looked to work the baseball to the middle of the field between the gaps and flashed some jump off the barrel when on time and squared. Also pitched utilizing a small rock step to medium leg lift delivery. Stays tall at gather and works to the plate with drop and drive actions. Quick arm circle at take back and released from a compact three-quarters arm slot. Fastball flashed some running action to arm side in the mid 70's to low 80's, topped at 81 miles per hour. Curveball had 10/5 shape with loose spin and good depth. Flashed late bit when maintaining arm speed through extension with curveball offering. Showed the willingness to double up with curveball offering to keep hitters off balance. Also showed a changeup that had some sink in the low 70's. Very good student as well.
