Cole Anderson is a 2018 MIF/OF with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Rocklin, CA who attends Rocklin. Medium frame with a lean, athletic build. Frame projects to support additional strength. Ran a 7.38 sixty-yard dash. Primary middle infielder with clean, athletic footwork while surrounding the baseball. Showed good range to each side with clean glove actions while funneling the baseball out front. Worked through transfer well and released from a three-quarters slot. Flashed ability to change arm side while on the run and throw with accuracy. Topped at 79 miles per hour across the infield producing accurate, on line carry. Right handed hitter with an upright, open stance and lower hand set. Works to contact on a direct path with a lifted plane through extension. Showed present bat speed through the zone and swung with intent to drive the baseball through the gaps. Flashed tight back spin with solid carry to each gap when on time and squared. Good student as well.
