Seamus Barrett (2020 RHP, Arlington, MA) was very impressive through his 4 innings of work on the mound, collecting 5 Ks. He was around the strike zone consistently with his 82-84 MPH fastball, working both sides of the plate. Was able to create good down angle from his 6'4 frame, and showed a tight spinning breaking ball with good depth. 

Matt Cooper (2019 3B, Chalfont, PA) had a productive day at the plate collecting 2 hits, including an RBI double that showed off some pop in his swing. Good bat path through the zone and was able to stay through the ball at contact. 

Colin Fahey (2019 OF, Lakeville, MA) showed off quick hands and good bat speed on a line drive 2B that he pulled down the LF line

Derek Tenney (2019 SS, Wethersfield, CT) had a great day both offensively and defensively. Played solid defense all throughout the infield, including a leaping catch at 2B on a line drive before doubling up the runner at 2nd. Collected 2 hits at the plate. 

Alex Ungar (2020 SS, Ronkonkoma, NY) impressed on the mound in his 3 scoreless innings of work. Had a clean delivery that led to a high 3/4 arm slot. Pounded the strike zone with his 80-83 MPH FB and used his 11/5 breaking ball to help record 5 Ks. 

Peyton Ahlstrom (2020 SS, Dunkirk, NY) had a short compact swing that created good contact. Compiled 2 hits and scored a run on the day. 
Game Highlights 11-Steel vs. 4-Green

Michael Quigley (2020 RHP, Halifax, MA) worked 3 innings for 11-Steel with primarily a well-located moving fastball that topped at 84 mph. He allowed only 1 hit while striking out 3.

Bryce Worth (2019 RHP, Southington, CT) worked three innings on the mound without allowing a run on 2 hits. He recorded 6 strikeouts with a fastball and slider combination.

Richie Williams (2020 OF, Georgetown, MA) worked a solid 2 innings with a 3 pitch mix allowing 1 unearned run on 2 hits and punched out three.

Nick Seeto (2019 MIF, Framingham, MA) was 2-for-3 at the plate on the day and showed some in game speed swiping 2 bases as well.

Josh Keevan (2021 LHP, Holden, MA) finished the day 2-for-2 at the plate, collecting 2 singles on a ground ball and line drive respectively.

Carson Hauben (2019 C, Grafton, MA) was 1-for-3 at the plate with a double to right field and a run scored. He also threw 2 innings on the mound and recorded 3 strikeouts.

Zaki Alaoui (2020 SS, Milton, MA) was 1-for-3 at the plate with a triple to right field. He also added a run scored and a RBI in the game. 
7- Orange vs. 8- Purple highlights

Maxwell Leblanc (2020 RHP, Sharon, MA) topped out at 80mph with his fastball today mixing in his curveball at 67mph and his changeup at 66mph. Leblanc throws on a downhill plane with arm side run to his fastball throwing it to both sides of the plate. 

Carter Cousins (2019 RHP, Westfield, MA) sat 79-81mph to his fastball with his curveball at 71mph. Cousins pitches from a high 3/4 arm slot with good direction and downhill angle. Cousins works fast on the mound and keeps a good rhythm with a good feel for his curveball which he locates well.

 Patrick Aubuchon (2019 C, Townsend, MA) made solid contact at the plate this morning doubling in his first at bat. Aubuchon has a compact swing and is a gap to gap hitter with pop. 

Jake Elbeery (2021 SS, Andover, MA) was 2-2 with 2 singles for the orange team this morning. Elbeery has a level swing with bat speed and shows the ability to consistently square the ball up. 

Andrew Snape (2019 3B/RHP, Hingham, MA) pitches from a high 3/4 arm slot with goo extension on the mound. Snape throws his curveball for strikes and uses it as an out pitch. Snape topped out at 84mph with his fastball pairing it with a curveball at 68mph. 

Joe Henry (2020 RHP/1B, Purchase, NY) singled and tripled in the game for the purple team today. Henry has a good swing plane displaying good plate coverage and uses all fields.

Christian Gemelli (2020 OF, Carlisle, MA) tripled in the game for the purple team as well today. Gemelli is a gap to gap hitter with pop and has good bat speed.
 
6- Navy Vs. 9- Red Highlights

8/13/2017

Henry Gustavson (2020 RHP, Southborough, MA) threw an impressive 4 innings this morning for the Red team. Gustavson pitches from a 3/4 arm slot with a short arm action and a projectable frame. He displayed good depth and late break with his curveball maintaining his arm speed on his off-speed pitches and gets good extension on the mound. 

Matt Nichols (2020 OF, Bedford, NY) showed good pop this morning doubling to left field. Nichols does a good job of staying inside the baseball and has a line drive swing plane. 

Joseph Patane (2021 2B, Hunington, NY) made solid contact both times up this morning singling in his first at bat. Patane has a sound approach at the plate with a nice easy swing. 

Max Tanzer (2019 C, Mercer Island, WA) singled twice in the game for the Red team. Tanzer displayed a confident approach at the plate with a nice easy swing making consistent contact. 

Kevin Gower (2019 OF, Barrington, RI) doubled in his first at bat this morning. Gower has a short compact swing with bat speed and showed gap to gap pop. In center field Gower has the ability to cover a lot of ground with his instincts and made a nice diving catch to rob a kid of extra bases. 
Northeast Underclass BP Highlights

8/12/2017

Alex Greblick (2019 OF, Newton, MA): Greblick showed quality bat speed with efficient movements, doing a good job hitting the ball on a line to all fields and projecting well for power. 

Kevin Mackenzie (2019 OF, Needham, MA): MacKenzie put his strength on display in his swing, showing legitimate home run power to the pull field and consistently getting the barrel out on time with lots of pop. 

Patrick Svensson (2019 2B, Newton, MA): Svensson did a good job controlling the barrel and putting the barrel on balls all over the zone, consistently spraying liners and repeating his mechanics. 

Richie Williams (2020 OF, Georgetown, MA): Williams showed really loose hands and smoothness to his barrel, doing a good job getting it out on time and driving the ball on a firm line. 

Harold Coll (2020 SS, Hyde Park, MA): Coll took a really loud round of BP; generating good torque in his hips and quality bat speed, driving the ball deep to the pull field with impressive jump off the bat. 

Matt Cooper (2019 3B, Chalfont, PA): Cooper showed some of the best power of the event, really generating torque in his lower half and bringing the barrel around with authority, driving the ball deep consistently. 

Andrew Hass (2019 SS, Newton, MA): Hass hits from a relaxed stance and shows an easy, repeatable swing, generating quality bat speed and peppering the middle of the field with well-struck liners. 

Derek Tenney (2019 SS, Wethersfield, CT): Tenney has a very projectable frame and subsequently very projectable power, as he already does a great job driving the ball into the air consistently with considerable jump. 

Jake Erlich (2019 C, North Easton, MA): Erlich has very good present bat speed with good plate coverage, and he does a good job sinking into his hips during his swing and generating good jump off the barrel. 

Jake Hendricks (2019 OF, Glastonbury, CT): Hendricks showed a smooth, easy swing with quality bat speed on a line drive plane; working well with a whole-field approach and consistently making LD contact.

Peter Messervy (2019 OF, Weston, MA): Messervy has legitimate bat speed, driving the ball on a line to all fields and then opening it up and showing legitimate power to the pull field. Took a very impressive round!

Colby Burke (2020 3B, West Barnstable, MA): Burke does a good job creating separation in his hands and hips; and uses that separation to generate good juice off the bat, hitting firm liners to pull and middle fields. 

Jaden McReynolds (2020 1B, Union, NJ): McReynolds shifts very well into contact, using his lower half quite well and generating power, and drove the ball on a line consistently with good jump. 

Derek Smith (2019 OF, Arundel, ME): Smith has shown as a top prospect all weekend, and continued to do so with the bat. He has legitimate bat speed and consistently drives the ball on a line all over the field. 

Joe Henry (2020 RHP, Purchase, NY): Henry has big time raw power for a 2020 prospect, with easy strength and carry on long drives to left field, carrying at least a couple of them over the fence. 

Andrew Snape (2019 3B, Hingham, MA): Snape really swings the bat with intent, showing good bat speed on an elevated plane, driving the ball deep when squared up with definite home run power.

Kevin Gower (2019 OF, Barrington, RI): Gower projects well physically and also with the bat, where he presently shows very good bat speed and a swing that produces firm line drives to all fields.

Kai Grocki (2019 3B, Wellesley, MA): Grocki torques well in his hips and generates good bat speed, getting the head out consistently and striking the ball out front firmly, creating lots of hard liners. 

Michael Rodgers (2019 C, Weston, MA): Rodgers' hands work quite well into his swing and he generates excellent bat speed; capable of driving the ball well on a line. 

Tommy Clark (2019 RHP, Framingham, MA): When timed up, Clark's swing produces easy power to the pull field, with lots of strength at contact and off the barrel, driving the ball deep.

Colin Fahey (2019 OF, Lakeville, MA): Fahey showed some of the more impressive whole-field power, going deep to the pull field then following that up with near-bomb oppo. He has big time bat speed.

Victor Camerota (2019 1B, Belchertown, MA): Camerota found the barrel consistently and with authority in his round, shifting well into contact and lining balls consistently. 

Nicholas Cote (2019 UT, Londonderry, NH): Cote showed very good bat speed on a line drive plane, spraying liners with authority to all fields. 

Patrick Roche (2020 SS, Marshfield, MA):  Roche generates really good leverage off of his front side and, when combined with his quality bat speed, showed the ability to drive the ball deep on a line. 

Don Wille (2020 C, Holtsville, NY): Wille is very strong and that shows up consistently in his swing, creating leverage and driving the ball deep with big carry and consistency.  
Game Highlights 6- Navy vs. 7- Orange

8/12/2017

Ben Reyes (2020 LHP, Framingham, MA) was able to record 6 strikeouts over 4 innings of work with a 3 pitch mix and showed the makings of an above average slider. His change-up was extremely deceptive and thrown with solid hand speed.

Peter Messervy (2019 OF, Weston, MA) worked 2 scoreless innings and struck out 2 batters while allowing only 2 hits. He added 2 runs of his own on a 2-for-3 day at the plate as well.

Patrick Aubuchon (2019 C, Townsend, MA) showed the ability to pitch by facing the minimum of 9 batters over 3 innings pitched. He allowed no hits while recording 2 strikeouts. He was also 2-for-3 at the plate with 2 runs scored and a RBI.

Colby Brouillette (2019 C, St. Albans, VT) had a hard luck day in the results column but made consistent hard contact including flying out to the base of the wall in right in his first at-bat of the day. Worked 2 innings on the mound and allowed 1 earned run.

Caleb Piwnicki (2019 RHP, Alton, NH) was 2-for-3 at the plate with a run scored for team 7- Orange.

Conner Moniz (2020 RHP, Fall River, MA) worked 2 innings and struck out 2 while allowing 1 earned run. He added a RBI double to left field at the plate. 
 
8-Purple Vs. 9- Red Highlights

8/12/2017

Nolan O'Brien (2019 RHP, Pound Ridge, NY) sat 80-84mph on his fastball with his slider at 69mph and his changeup at 64mph. O'Brien has a loose fast arm with good sink to his fastball and mixes in his slider well. 

Tommy Clark (2019 RHP, Framingham, MA) sat 80-85mph on his fastball this afternoon. Clark throws a heavy fastball mixing in a good change-up and pounded the strike zone. 

Michael Rodgers (2019 C, Weston, MA) displayed some of his pop in the game hammering a Home Run to left field. Rodgers does a good job of turning on the inside pitch and made loud contact all day. 

Andrew Snape (2019 3B, Hingham, MA) doubled in his last bat for the Purple team today. Snape does a good job of getting extension at the plate with bat speed. 
4-Green vS 5-Maroon Highlights

Andrew Steinhubel (2020 RHP, Waltham, MA) sat 77-79mph with his fastball to go along with his slider at 67mph and a changeup at 69mph. Steinhubel throws easy with a sound and repeatable delivery pitching from a high 3/4 arm slot. maintains his arm speed on his change-up and has good shape to his slider. 

Harold Coll (2020 SS, Hyde Park, MA) singled and doubled in the game for the Maroon team today. Coll is an aggressive hitter at the plate while displaying bat speed. 

Mitchell Riccio (2021 2B, Guilford, CT) singled twice in the game for the Maroon team. Riccio has a level swing, keeps his hands inside the ball well and consistently barrels up the baseball. 

Cameron Taubert (2019 RHP/1B, Bass River, MA) singled all three times he came up to the plate today. Taubert has good bat speed with a line drive swing plane.

Colin McGrath (2019 RHP, Quincy, MA) sat 81-84mph with his fastball topping out at 85mph today to go along with a slider ay 72mph and his changeup at 75mph. McGrath has a quick arm pitching from a high 3/4 arm slot working downhill consistently. McGrath throws a heavy fastball for strikes consistently and has good bite to his slider. 

Colin Fahey (2019 OF, Lakeville, MA) doubled twice today for the Royal team. Fahey has good bat speed with a fluid swing and makes consistent hard contact. 

Johnny Cannavo (2020 1B, Weymouth, MA) singled twice in the game for the Royal team today. Cannavo has a good swing plane and hits the ball to all fields.
