Casey Brown is a 2019 3B/OF, RHP with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from West Barnstable, MA who attends Barnstable. Medium frame with athletic present build. Ran 60 yard dash in 8.03 seconds. Sets up to hit with high back elbow, small leg lift trigger, loads hands back into wrap, strides online and keeps hips aligned, covers plate well and shows ability to work to all fields. Took reps in the infield; deliberate actions to both sides, fundamentally solid, arm strength up to 72 mph across. Pitched as well, slow-paced delivery, compact arm stroke to three quarters slot, maintains direction, fastball worked 66-69 mph and peaked at 71. Mixed in curveball with gradual depth. Got weak contact consistently. Very good student.
