Brennan Rivera is a 2020 SS/RHP with a 5-9 125 lb. frame from Franklin, MA who attends Franklin. Medium frame with slender, lean present build; body projects well moving forward. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.47 seconds. Sets up to hit from slightly open stance with high back elbow, torques hips into swing and flashes directionality in hips, mostly pull-side approach, shows ability to work to all fields, made solid line drive contact with good power projection. Moves well in the infield with athletic footwork and actions; fields cleanly and shows ability to throw from all arm angles, clocked up to 77 mph across. Pitched as well, long arm action to three quarters slot, short stride downhill, repeats well, fastball worked 72-74 mph with good arm side run. Showed curveball with 12/6 shape and quality depth; good feel to spin the pitch. Excellent student.
