Corbin Brooksbank (2017 RHP, Signal Mountain, TN) is another young Vanderbilt commit who came out and showed big arm strength on the mound, bumping his fastball up to 91 mph in his first inning of work. On top of the fastball, Brooksbank showed a tight slider in the upper-70s as well as a changeup up to 79 mph.

Alerick Soularie (2017 OF, Humble, TX) showed off his strength in his righthanded swing as he turned on an inner half fastball and barreled a line drive through the left side, coming off the barrel at 97 mph.

Mason Hickman (2017 RHP, Hendersonville, TN) followed Brooksbank for the White team and like his teammate he’s also committed to Vanderbilt. Standing at 6-foot-6 Hickman did a nice job of working in the lower quadrants of the strike zone with his fastball that topped out at 91 mph while showing both a slider and a changeup.

Brant Hurter (2017 LHP, Canton, GA) is a big 6-foot-6 lefthander who’s committed to in-state Georgia Tech and projects well moving forward. The arm action is full and quick and he’s able to create angle to the glove side with his fastball that bumped 89 mph and worked in the upper-80s, throwing both a changeup and slider for strikes.

Dominic Cox (2017 OF, Richmond, TX) picked up a base knock for the Texas Orange team as he did a nice job of going with the outer half pitch and put it through the right side for a single off the bat.

Shane McGuire (2017 C, Kent, WA), the younger brother of former Perfect Game All-American Reese, picked up a hard line drive single and a pitch that jumped on and lined back up the middle for a hard and loud piece.

Adam Hall (2017 SS, London, ON) made the trip down from Canada and has continued to impress all around. A righthanded bat, the Texas A&M was able to show off the hit tool and his speed in a single swing as he lined a ball down the right field line and raced into second base for a standup double.

Tyler Esplin (2017 RHP, Lake Bluff, IL) showed off some of his two-way abilities as he took the mound and was up to 85 mph and picked up a hard ground ball single which he shot back up the middle in his final at-bat.

Jordan Schulefand (2017 RHP, Parkland, FL)-Smaller build with a short, compact arm action and an upbeat delivery. Filled the zone exceptionally well at 84-87 and missed bats with a 74 mph curveball striking out 5 in 6 innings.

Elijah Gill (2017 LHP, Jacksonville, FL)-Lean, projectable build who threw from a three quarter arm slot and a longer arm action. Was around the zone with a three pitch mix 84-86 with slight life and a changeup and curveball that he controlled well.

Shane Muntz (2017 C, Phoenixville, PA)-Very big, physical build with good arm strength. Fastball worked 90-92 mph down the zone and showed a hard curveball with depth in the upper 70's. 

Jacob Blas (2017 SS, Carlsbad, CA)-Took a ball to the opposite field with good bat speed and barrel control with a single. Jose Ciccarello (2017 SS, Tampa, FL) did the same going to the opposite field with impressive hand speed. 

Ben Fariss (2017 RHP, Valencia, CA)-Very lean, projectable build with good arm speed and a longer arm action. Mostly upper half at present, but fastball that sat 88-91/92 mph should tick up with more lower half involvement. Showed a promising curveball 77 mph with impressive depth and tightness and flashed a changeup in the mid 80's. 

Calvin Mitchell (2017 OF, San Diego, CA)-Very impressive hand speed that he showed off in batting practice. Roped a pull-side single that came off the barrel loud then followed it up with another base hit up the middle. The other Mitchell from California, Garrett Mitchell (2017 OF, Orange, CA), also delivered hard contact in game with good bat speed and physical projection. 

Joshua Plummer (2017 OF, Mechanicsville, VA)-Very projectable kid with a long arm action and drop and drive delivery. FB worked 85-90 mph with heavy arm side life and a curveball with slurvy action in the low 70's.

Nick Allen (2017 SS, San Diego, CA)-The footwork and transfer skills of Allen have long been lauded, but he made a difficult play look far too easy ranging up the middle with a lightning quick release. 

Quentin Holmes (2017 OF, East Elmhurst, NY)-Turned in the top time in the 60 yard dash and showed some ability to find the barrel with a hard hit line drive single past the pitcher. 

Ethan Gallagher (2017 OF, Catonsville, MD)-Really strong kid with a powerful swing and leverage through his lower half. Drove a ball off the netting in left field for a double that left the bat at 95 mph. 

Rashad Collymore (2017 OF, Mississauga, ON)-Showed quick twitch in his swing with good bat speed to lace a double to the left-centerfield gap. 

Royce Lewis (2017 SS, Aliso Viejo, CA)-Lewis ended the game with a very loud triple to right-centerfield with good bat speed and plane through the zone.

There were rumblings of a recent workout in which Arizona State commit Alex Scherff (2017 RHP, Colleyville, TX)was showing big velocity and it proved to be true during his two innings of work. He sat comfortably in the 93-95 mph range with late running life but his secondaries were just as impressive as he showed an advanced feel for a changeup and was able to get a hard slider to the back foot of lefthanded hitters with a feel to mix.

Hugh Fisher (2017 LHP, Eads, TN) is a long and projectable lefthanded pitcher who’s already committed to in-state Vanderbilt and it’s easy to see why. Comfortably working his fastball up to 91 mph, Fisher lived down in the zone with short running life and flashed both a sharp CB and a changeup in the upper-70s.

D’Mond LaFond has a highly projectable 6-foot-2, 180-pound who came out and ran his fastball up to 93 mph a couple of times in his second inning of work. He did a nice job of generating plane to his fastball with occasional running life to his arm side. The uncommitted LaFond also threw both a curveball and slider for strikes and flashed a changeup up to 79 mph.

Cole Turney (2017 OF, Richmond, TX) showed off his bat speed in a tough left-on-left matchup against Fisher and put a 91 mph fastball back up the middle for a hard piece of contact.

Speaking of loud contact, Jecorrah Arnold (2017 3B, Athens, GA) turned on a fastball for the hardest piece of contact in the game, connecting for a LOUD double down the left field line, coming off the barrel at 93 mph.

Josh Hatcher (2017 OF, Albany, GA) showed off a nice piece of hitting as he went down and got a curveball which he put back up the middle, showing both balance and feel for the barrel.

Devin Fontenot (2017 RHP, The Woodlands, TX) (2017 RHP, The Woodlands, TX) came out and lived at the bottom of the strike zone with his fastball that topped out at 91 mph, showing command to either side of the sinking life. He was able to induce ground ball contact and showed a feel for a late breaking slider up to 75 mph. He punched out six over his two innings of work.fon

Michael Jensen (2017 RHP, Eden Prairie, MN), an Oklahoma commit, was up to 87 mph with his fastball and featured short running life to the pitch. He also showed comfort in throwing a changeup in the mid-70s and a short breaking ball up to 70 mph.

Earl Semper (2017 3B, Fort Lauderdale, FL)-Showed good barrel control as he collected an opposite field base hit.

Jacob Blas (2017 SS, Carlsbad, CA) and Christian Fedko (2017 3B, Gibsonia, PA) each delivered really loud singles through the left side. They each swung with a line drive plane and showed good bat speed.

Danny Zimmerman (2017 RHP, Redondo Beach, CA)-Strong, durable build with a tall delivery from a three quarter slot. Pitched two innings with a fastball that worked 83-88 mph with good heavy life. 

Gavin Hinchliffe (2017 RHP, Pottsville, PA)-Long arm action with a drop and drive delivery and online landing. Fastball worked 85-90 mph and showed a slider at 77 mph. 

Brian Morrell (2017 RHP, Wading River, NY)-Created very impressive angle with his fastball with a quick arm action towards the plate. His fastball sat comfortably at 90-92 mph around the zone and mixed in a slider at 79 and a curveball at 73 mph.

Brendan Murphy (2017 LHP, Mundelein, IL)-Long, lean build with a crossfire delivery with a short, compact arm action. Fastball sat 87-90 mph with a very deceptive changeup. 

Ethan Gallagher (2017 OF, Catonsville, MD)-Very strong build and works well in his swing with good bat speed. Line drive single that came off the bat at 103 mph. 

Gustavo Rodriguez (2018 OF, Santo Domingo, DR)-Had his arm tested in the game after running it up to 96 mph and used it to gun down a runner at home with ease from right field. 

Conor Grady (2017 RHP, Tampa, FL)-looser arm action with a very upbeat delivery and minimal lower half. Fastball worked 86-89 mph with heavy life and sink. Also showed a changeup in the upper 70's with slight sink and a slider that flashed above average at 79. 

Osvaldo Berrios Flores (2017 RHP, Juncos, PR)-Very loose, live arm with an easy delivery and arm speed. Fastball worked 86-89 mph, complimented by a short breaking slider at 77 mph and a changeup at 75 mph. Projects for more going forward.

Jamil Vanheyningen (2017 RHP, West Orange, NJ) certainly looks the part at 6-foot-6, 225-pounds and he came out working in the upper-80s with his fastball to open his outing, showing both a curveball and a changeup, the latter of which was up to 77 mph.

Justin Bullock (2017 RHP, Creedmoor, NC), who’s committed to North Carolina State, came out and worked a quick, loose arm action that helped produce a fastball that regularly worked in the low-90s and topped out at 92 mph. On top of the velocity, Bullock also showed a feel to spin the ball and turned over a changeup at 80 mph.

Jacob Gonzalez (2017 3B, Scottsdale, AZ) has continued to progress physically and showed off a feel for the barrel in his first at-bat as he stayed back on a curveball and lined it to the opposite field for a single to the opposite field gap.

Just as he did yesterday during the outfield drills, Clemson commit Bo Majkowski (2017 OF, Johns Creek, GA) showed off his arm strength and made future runners think twice about running on his arm as he delivered a one hop strike to the plate to nab the runner. He also connected for a single through the 5-6 hole. 

Matthew Sauer (2017 RHP, Santa Maria, CA), committed to the University of Arizona, came out and showed a long and loose arm action that helped create some whip, running his fastball up to 92 mph in his first inning of work. Though he fastball velocity certainly stands out, it was Sauer’s feel for his slider that really impressed as he was able to miss bats on a regular basis with the 78-80 mph pitch. Over his two innings of work he struck out five of the six outs he recorded.

Jacob Lindemann (2017 RHP, Burlington, WI) comes at hitters from a higher arm slot and showed he was able to work down in the zone with his fastball, topping out at 89 mph. His curveball showed 12-6 shape with depth and he also flashed a changeup in the upper-70s.

Justin Willis (2017 RHP, West New York, NJ), a Vanderbilt commit, came out and pounded the strike zone with a full three-pitch mix, working quickly to keep hitters off balance. His fastball was up to 90 mph with short running life and he showed both a slider and curveball for strikes, both showing distinct shape,

Griffin McGarry (2017 RHP, Portola Valley, CA), who’s currently uncommitted, showing interesting potential on the mound Sunday morning as he came out running his fastball up to 91 mph with a long and loose arm action. He spun a breaking ball in the in the mid-70s that flashed 11-5 shape and showed a good bit of comfort in throwing a low-80s changeup from the same slot.

Royce Lewis (2017 SS, Aliso Viejo, CA) showed off his quick hands from the right side of the plate as well as his speed tool as he lined a ball down the line, coming off the barrel well while showing off the footspeed coming around first base.

A Mississippi State commit, New York native Quentin Holmes (2017 OF, East Elmhurst, NY) followed up with some speed of his own as he raced around to third base after showing a short and compact swing and punching an outer half pitch to the opposite field.

Luis Campusano (2017 C, Augusta, GA) impressed on both sides of the ball for the White team as he picked up hard ground ball single through the right side while showing quickness to his hands. He also showed off solid catch and throw skills in game with a 1.94 pop time to nail a would be theft. 

A University of Louisville commit, righthanded pitcher Bobby Miller (2017 RHP, McHenry, IL) ran his fastball up to 93 mph and worked in the low-90s while showing a full and loose arm action coming through the back. He's able to generate running life to his fastball with his release point and also showed a feel for a slider that was up to 79 mph.

Sam Keating (2017 RHP, Fort Myers, FL)-Projectable arm with good arm speed and good extension down the mound. Fastball that worked in the upper 80's with a pair of breaking balls working 75-77 mph. The softer end was a curveball with the slider working consistently at 77 mph showing slight tilt. He also had a promising changeup for strikes and missed bats.

Nate Gillen (2017 LHP, Estero, FL)-Three quarter arm slot with a long arm action and projection remaining in frame. Threw both a four seem fastball at 85-88 mph and a two seamer that worked 83-85 with better arm side life. Slurvy curveball as well for strikes showing some tilt. 

Alex Arauz (2017 SS, Sarasota, FL)-Quick bat with a simple approach as he collected a base hit.

Liam Eddy (2017 RHP, Brighton, CO)-Very projectable arm with room to fill in his frame and some present arm speed. Fastball worked 87-88 mph and landed on a stiff front leg with a changeup in the upper 70's. 

Mark Vierling (2017 SS, St. Louis, MO)-Showed a quick, inside out swing with an opposite field single staying back on a changeup. 

Matthew Myers (2017 RHP, Jackson, MS)-Medium build with good arm strength and a short, compact arm action. Fastball that worked in the upper 80's and touched 91 mph with slight arm side wiggle. Filled zone with the fastball and a tight curveball that missed bats at 73 mph and a hard splitter at 86 mph. 

Jesus Nunez (2018 SS, Santo Domingo, NC)-Legged out an infield single and promptly stole second before scoring a run. Brian Morrell (2017 RHP, Wading River, NY)-Also had a base hit showing good barrel control and strength.

Bradford Jones (2017 RHP, Osprey, FL)-Missed barrels with a short, compact arm action. Fastball that worked 88-90 mph and mixed in a slurvy mid 70's curveball. 

Adam Hall (2017 SS, London, ON)-The Texas A&M commit followed up a loud BP with a hard single through the right side in game. Bat speed and intent are impressive.

Gustavo Rodriguez is a young player from the Dominican who’s listed as a 2018 graduate which means he’s already 16 years old (16 and four months to be exact) and is eligible for this July 2^nd signing period. His swing certainly isn’t that of your typical would-be sophomore in high school as the righthanded Rodriguez was able to generate easy and big bat speed with strength that hi 6-foot-2, 180-pound frame may not indicate being in there.

Rashad Collymore is a young and physically gifted switch-hitting prospect from Canada who showed both bat speed and strength from either side of the plate with better leverage coming at the point of contact from the left side.

David Lamanna took a round of batting practice that was very similar to the round a year ago at the Junior National as he showed a smooth feel for the barrel with solid present strength coming off the barrel to the middle and pull side parts of the field.

Brian Morrell, like Lamanna above, is another Notre Dame commit who impressed with his righthanded swing, showing a simple swing with solid bat speed and strength to his pull side.

Ben Ramirez has been a known name on the national scene for some time and his swing has continued to evolve ever since his debut. Now 6-foot-3, 180-pounds Ramirez projects very well with physical strength though he’s already able to generate solid leverage and bat speed with loud contact coming to the pull side.

Shane Muntz is a very strong and physical 6-foot-4, 240-pounds and he may have been responsible for perhaps the single most impressive piece of contact on the night, sending a long 430-foot home run (per TrackMan) over the center field wall.

Adam Hall, another young prospect from Canada, put together an extremely loud day one and continued to impress with the bat after running and throwing very well. From the right side the Texas A&M commit did a nice job of incorporating his lower half and explosive hands into his swing, consistently driving balls off the Green Monster in left field.

Cole Turney has long been lauded for his lefthanded power and he once again put it on display once he got his swing going. Both the bat speed and hand speed can rival almost any in the class and he put both on display as he was able to create big leverage to center field and even rattled one off the Pesky Pole down the right field line.

Kennesaw State appears to have another talented outfielder locked up in Josh Hatcher a year after having one of the biggest risers in high schooler Brandon Marsh. Hatcher is already 6-foot-2 180-pounds with present strength but projects very well as his hands are extremely quick and the path is plenty fluid with present jump coming off the barrel.

Nick Allen is another California player who’s been on the national scene for a bit and while he’s noted for his standout defensive actions, which he showed during the drills, he also swung it well from the right side. He doesn’t try to do too much as he stays within himself, hitting line drive to both the middle and pull side parts of the field with an easy, fluid swing.

Jeter Downs, who impressive in every other facet of his game, also took a loud round of batting practice, putting his righthanded hit tool on display for the scouts in attendance. His hands are plenty quick and he was able to generate leverage at the point of contact with hard line drive contact coming off the barrel.

Calvin Mitchell is a strong 6-foot-1, 200-pound San Diego commit and he captured everybody’s attention with his lefthanded stroke. The swing features plenty of rhythm and balance and the bat speed comes easy with hard contact coming off the barrel, showing solid extension out front at the point of contact.

Royce Lewis looks the part physically at 6-foot-2, 188-pounds and his swing is one that projects very well. His overall path is short and quick to the ball while generating leverage out front, helping to create big carry to the opposite field.

Ethan Gallagher made his way down from the Northeast and he didn’t disappoint with his righthanded power. After registering an exit velo of 104 mph in the Zepp testing, Gallagher continued to swing a heavy stick from the right side with hard and loud jump coming off the barrel to the middle and pull side parts of the field.

Garret Mitchell followed Calvin Mitchell and did so in just as impressive of a way. Another strong lefthanded bat, Garrett Mitchell showed big present bat speed as well as fast hands which helped generate consistent and hard contact coming off the barrel.

Danny Zimmerman may be listed as a primary righthanded pitcher in the program but with the way he swung the bat he appears to have two-way ability should he make it to Michigan where he’s committed. The 6-foot-5 righthanded hitting Zimmerman did a nice job of creating leverage and incorporating his physical strength to generate loud contact to the middle of the field.

Quentin Holmes turned in the top 60-yard time at the National Showcase with a 6.15 and he also showed well from the right side of the plate. Staying short and direct with his path Holmes was able to create line drive contact to the middle of the field with strength coming off.

Cole Brannen came up just short of the top 60 time for the event to Holmes above with a 6.18 time and also threw 91 mph from the OF. Showed very impressive bat speed and leverage with a line drive swing plane. Worked the ball very well to both pull side and up the middle with intent to drive the ball.

Luis Campusano showed very impressive rhythm and timing with a quick bat and strength originated from his lower half with torque into his swing. Created good leverage and made contact on every ball he turned around showing barrel control and bat speed including one that went off the Nike "Defy Limits" sign on top of the left field wall. 

Philip Clarke and Cooper Swanson are a pair of athletic Vanderbilt commits who turned in loud batting practices as well. Clarke started narrow with a simple stride to the ball with a very quick barrel and drive ability pull side. Swanson showed similar physical strength and bat speed with lightning quick hands and a line drive plane. They both blistered baseballs and scattered them around the field with consistent barrel ability. 

Shane McGuire drove the ball very well with good leverage and strong torque through his lower half. He showed good bat and hand speed through the zone with a simple shift to the ball and good rhythm throughout. The uncommitted catcher also stood out with an impressive 6.82 60 time during workouts.

Wilberto Rivera (2017 RHP, Naranjito, PR) came out and pumped big velocity out of the gate, running his fastball up to 94 mph while sitting comfortably in the low-90s. He’s got a strong and broad build to go along with a quick, loose arm action that helped produce sinking life on his fastball down in the zone.

Kevin Abel (2017 RHP, San Diego, CA) made the cross country trip to throw in Fort Myers and he didn’t disappoint as he showed three solid pitches for strikes. His fastball was up to 91 mph early with downhill plane and he threw both a changeup with late diving life and a sharp 12-6 curveball for strikes, both in the low-to-mid-70s.

Tim Elko (2017 3B, Lutz, FL) continues to swing a big bat from the right side of the plate after making loud contact earlier in the day. Getting a fastball he could handle, Elko got his arms extended and drove the pitched deep to center field for a standup double, traveling 395 feet and coming off the barrel at 97 mph.

Seth Corry (2017 LHP, Highland, UT) is projectable lefthander who’s already committed to Brigham Young, though he already shows plenty at present. With a fastball that works in the low-90s and up to 93 mph Corry was able to maintain his velocity well throughout his two innings of work and developed his curveball throughout the outing saving his best ones for last.

Christian Robinson (2017 OF, Melbourne, FL) might only be 16 and a half years old as he recently reclassified up from the 2018 but his strength and bat speed fits right into to the older class. Despite begin in a left on left match up Robinson showed the quickness to the barrel in order to drive a triple to deep center field, jumping off the barrel at 96 mph. He also jumped on the mound for an inning and ran his fastball up to 85 mph.

Altoon Coleman (2017 RHP, Sanford, FL) has been a regular at Perfect Game events and he again ran his fastball up to 91 mph with a short and compact arm action, showing a feel for his breaking ball up to 78 mph, showing the ability to add and subtract on the pitch.

Logan Allen (2017 LHP, Deltona, FL) has long been known for his ability to carve up hitters within the strike zone and did so once again this afternoon. He ran his fastball up to 90 mph with a quick and loose arm action, but also threw both a sharp curveball, a slider, and a cutting changeup for strikes, mixing with comfort and feel.

Another Alabama State commit, Oraj Anu (2017 OF, Orlando, FL) had a nice two hit day at the plate with both of his hits coming from from the right side of the plate. In his first trip he doubled down the left field line before shooting a single through the 4-hole in his second trip to the plate for a single. 

Ben Dragani (2017 LHP, Brookfield, WI) is a Michigan commit from the state of Wisconsin and he ran his fastball up to 88 mph, showing a smooth and easy arm action that projects for more velocity moving forward as he fills out physically. 

Mason Doolittle (2017 C, Jupiter, FL) made the most of his last at-bat during the showcase, turning on a lefthanded fastball and he put it off the base of the Green Monster for a double, coming off the barrel 96 mph.

Jan Figueroa (2017 RHP, Trujillo Alto, PR) is another promising prospect from Puerto Rico and the righthander didn’t disappoint. During his first inning of work he ran his fastball up to 92 mph with a full and loose arm action. In addition to the fastball the uncommitted Figueroa showed a breaking ball in the low-70s and a changeup at 81 mph.

Zach Sehgal (2017 SS, La Jolla, CA) helped keep the opposition off the board in the first inning by showing solid range moving to the 5-6 hole from shortstop, was able to set his feet and throw the runner out at home who aggressively rounded third.

Oscar Serratos (2017 SS, Lawrenceville, GA) jumped all over an 89 mph fastball and drove it back up the middle, carrying over the center fielder’s head for a loud double that came off the bat at 90 mph.

Committed to Florida Atlantic, righthander Christian Santana (2017 RHP, Hialeah, FL) came out and bumped 92 mph with his fastball while showing a feel for a curveball in the mid-70s, both of which come from a quick right arm.

Golston Gillespie (2017 C, Hull, GA), who’s committed to Mississippi, showed the type power he’s become known for as he was able to get his arms extended and drove an outer half pitch to the left-center field gap for a loud double, jumped 96 mph off the barrel.

After finding the barrel some in the previous game, Georgia commit Drew Waters (2017 OF, Woodstock, GA)  followed up Gillespie with a hard single up the middle that jumped off the barrel at 103 mph. He then proceeded to show off his strength as he swiped both second and third within a handful of pitches. Waters fouled up his single in his first at-bat with another line drive base knock that registered 103 mph off the barrel, a line drive over the second baseman’s head.

Caleb Sloan (2017 RHP, Centennial, CO), who recently committed to TCU, made the trip out from Colorado and made an immediate impression as he painted the glove side black in his first innig of work. His fastball sat in the 90-92 mph range, bumping 94 mph while spinning a hard mid-80s slider with tight and late bite.

Heliot Ramos (2017 OF, Maunabo, PR) jumped all over a mid-80s fastball and sent it deep to the centerfield wall, clanking hard off the base for a two-base hit registering 100 mph off the barrel.

Oscar Serratos (2017 SS, Lawrenceville, GA), mentioned above, might be listed as a primary shortstop in the program but he very much has two-way abilities should he get to Georgia Tech. With a live, athletic frame Serratos featured a short and fast arm action that produced a fastball up to 91 mph with solid plane and ability to work to either side of the plate.

Jacob Pearson (2017 OF, West Monroe, LA)-Showed good barrel feel connecting for a pair of balls that left the bat loud. 

Raymond Gil (2017 3B, Miami, FL)-Also showed good bat speed and an all fields approach collecting a pair of base hits.

Justin Farmer (2017 OF, Riverview, FL)-Connected for a loud double off the wall that left the bat at 99 mph showing impressive bat speed and quick hands.

Cardinal Fernandezees (2017 RHP, Gardena, CA)-Strong, projectable build with a short arm action and several pauses in his delivery. Fastball worked 87-89/90 mph with true action and a changeup, curveball, and slider as well. 

Jose Visaez (2017 RHP, Jacksonville, FL)-Deep hip coil start with a long arm action with good arm speed. Fastball worked 90-92/93 mph and a showed a slider with bite.

Harrison Francis (2017 RHP, Tallahassee, FL)-Projectable build with a full arm action and three quarter arm slot. Was around the zone with an upper 80's fastball and flashed a slider that showed tilt. 

Ivan Johnson (2017 SS, Atlanta, GA)-Worked all fields, staying back on a breaking ball with good barrel control. 

Jack Leftwich (2017 RHP, Maitland, FL)-Projectable, lean build with a quick arm and good extension down the mound. Fastball that worked low 90's and touched 94 mph with a changeup and slider with short break as well.

Cash Case (2017 SS, Mount Dora, FL)-Dropped the barrel head and showed good bat speed and created leverage to hit a 361' HR to deep left field. The sound off the barrel was impressive as it was a no-doubt 3-run shot. He followed that up with a 96 mph single in his second at-bat as well. 

Mark Vientos (2017 SS, Pembroke Pines, FL)-The impressive physical build is hard to ignore with good bat speed and linear swing path. Had a single that left the bat at 98 mph per TrackMan through the left side. 

Joe Boyle (2017, RHP, O'Fallon, MO)-Very strong, large build with present arm strength from a longer arm action. Fastball worked 90-92/93 mph with slight cut and also mixed in a slider at 75 mph that he threw for strikes. Struck out 5 in 2IP. 

Jordan Anderson (2017 OF, Madison, AL) and Ricardo De La Torre (2017 SS, Juana Diaz, PR) each collected a RBI base hit in game. Anderson slapped one to the opposite field, while De La Torre pulled one through the left side.

Yashviel Estrada (2017 RHP, Humacao, PR)-Showed a quick arm on the mound with a lean, projectable build. Fastball worked in the upper 80's topping out at 88 mph with a changeup at 74 mph. 

Conner Uselton (2017 OF, Oklahoma City, OK)-Really impressive bat speed and barrel control. Single that was 103 mph off the bat per TrackMan with a linear swing plane and explosive hands. 

Shamir M Morales Rodriguez (2017 C, San Lorenzo, PR)-Showed a quick bat with good raw strength with a double off the wall in left field. 

Cameron Robinson (2017 RHP, Deltona, FL)-Longer arm action with some arm strength with crossfire action. Fastball had cut action between 89-91 mph with a slider flashing tilt at 81 mph. 

Garrett "Hunter" Ruth (2017 RHP, Gainesville, FL)-Medium build with good arm strength from a three quarter arm slot. Fastball showed good life and angle at 91-94 mph with a changeup at 79 mph showing sink. 

Bryson Hutchinson (2017 1B/RHP, Port Orange, FL)-Very large, strong frame from a high three quarter arm slot. Fastball exploded out of his hand with heavy action sitting 91-94 mph with a slider that worked in the low 80's and a curveball at 75 mph.

Vanderbilt commit Jake Eder (2017 LHP, Ocean Ridge, FL) came out and sat in the 88-91 mph range in the first inning showing solid angle to his fastball with an ability to locate both to glove side and arm side. The velocity comes rather easily for Eder and he’s able to miss bats with the pitch, showing nice angle out of the hand.

Jeremiah Estrada (2017 RHP, Indio, CA) is a young and loose arm righthander who made the trip out from California and didn’t disappoint. With a full and easy arm action coming through the back the UCLA was able to run his fastball up to 93 mph with occasional hard cut while spinning a 12-6 curveball in the low-70s.

Committed to Florida State for a little bit now, righthander Tyler Ahearn (2017 RHP, Jupiter, FL) continues to make strides in terms of pure stuff as he continues to fill out his frame. Up to 93 mph and regularly living in the low 90s throughout with the ability to pound the inner half to righthanded hitter, Ahearn also flashed a hard downer breaking ball as well as a feel for a changeup.

Ivan Johnson (2017 SS, Atlanta, GA) flashed some leather ranging up the middle on a ground ball that took a late hop yet he remained balanced and loose to adjust and make the throw on the run.

Tanner Allen (2017 OF, Theodore, AL), just as he did all of last summer, showed fast hands on an inner half 89 mph fastball and ripped it down the line, coming off the barrel at 97 mph for a standup double.

Darren Baker (2017 2B, Granite Bay, CA) followed up what Tanner Allen did and put an upper-80s fastball back up the middle, finding the barrel and picking up a single.

Stephen Keller (2017 RHP, Huffman, TX), another LSU commit, made quick work of his two innings as he regularly filled up the strike zone with both his fastball and curveball. He regularly worked on top of his fastball that topped out at 90 mph while showing hard running life at times and feel for a breaking ball in the mid-70s.

Speaking of LSU commits, Daniel Cabrera (2017 OF, River Ridge, LA) didn’t quite show the power he did in batting practice yesterday but he did show comfort with the barrel and the ability to go to the opposite field, picking up a line drive single through the 5-6 hole.

Noah Skirrow (2017 RHP, Stoney Creek, ON), an uncommitted righthander out of Canada worked in the 86-89 mph range, bumping a 90 over his two innings of work. In addition to the fastball, Skirrow was able to miss barrels with his changeup in the low-80s featuring late fading life away from lefthanded hitters.

Kyle Hurt (2017 RHP, Rancho Santa Fe, CA) has long been on the scene and continues to improve each time we see him. He routinely sat in the low-90s with his fastball showing a fast right arm and a curveball that developed showing hard bite and a changeup that showed late diving life underneath barrels.

Jordan Butler (2017 LHP, Odessa, FL) came out and pounded the strike zone from a difficult near sidearm slot, running his fastball up to 91 mph with late sinking life. He was able to miss bats with his fastball and struck out the side in each of his two innings of work while showing a breaking ball at 72 mph with depth.

Reese Albert (2017 OF, Jupiter, FL) showed off some strength from the left side of the plate, barreling a double to the left centerfield gap, showing the type of strength he did last night turning batting practice.

Weston Bizzle (2017 RHP, Memphis, TN) did his thing on the mound again Friday night, coming at hitters with a bunch of deception while running his fastball up to 90 mph from an over the top slot while showing a big 12-6 breaker in the mid-70s.

Jackson Rutledge (2017 RHP, St. Louis, MO), who recently opened up his commitment, was able to miss bats with his fastball that was up to 91 mph with short sinking life. The arm action is fast and he’s capable of working down in the zone while showing both an 11-5 curveball and low-80s changeup for strikes.

Johnny Kuhn Jr (2017 RHP, Lakewood, CA)-Strong build with impressive arm strength over a pair of innings. Creates some angle with his 87-89/90 mph fastball and mixed in a slider at 77 mph.

Nicholas Storz (2017 RHP, Brooklyn, NY)-Very thick, strong build with a longer arm action and impressive arm strength. Worked 90-92/93 mph with arm side life for his first inning and a slightly slower range in the second. Missed bats with his fastball and a sharp, hard slider. 

Jack Conlon (2017 RHP, Sugar Land, TX)-Projectable, strong build with a slightly stiff arm action and quick drop and drive delivery. Fastball exploded out of his hand at 90-93/94 mph that showed slight cut. Hard downward breaking slider at 78 mph. 

Joseph Perez (2017 3B, Pembroke Pines, FL)-Threw from a high three quarter arm slot with downhill action and a very hard spinning fastball that worked 90-93/94 mph. Also had a sharp slider that had downward break.

Alejandro Toral (2017 1B, Davie, FL)-No one has doubted the bat speed and barrel feel of the #1 player in the class and he lined out in his first at bat with a ball that left the bat at 101 mph.

Matthew Golda (2017 SS, Bradenton, FL)-Followed up a very strong defensive workout yesterday with a loud double off the wall in game today. Bat speed showed with a line drive swing plane. 

Conner Uselton (2017 OF, Oklahoma City, OK)-Linear swing plane with good bat and hand speed pulling a double down the left field line. Hustled out of the box to turn it into extra bases. 

Oraj Anu (2017 OF, Orlando, FL)-One of the loudest BP's turned in yesterday was by Oraj Anu who added in a double down the left field line showing the very impressive bat speed. 

Tanner Burns (2017 RHP, Decatur, AL)-Short, compact arm action with impressive arm speed and online delivery. Good fastball sitting 92-94/95 mph over two innings get lots of swings and misses between his fastball and hard breaking ball in the low 80's.

Brandon McCabe (2017 RHP, Boynton Beach, FL)-Compact arm action, tremendous extension downhill with a three quarter arm slot. Fastball 93-95 mph with lift, power curveball and a straight changeup missing tons of bats. Curveball via TrackMan hovered near 2800 RPM with 5 feet of vertical, downward break. 

Mark Vientos (2017 SS, Pembroke Pines, FL)-showed impressive bat speed at the plate making loud contact off the barrel. Also made a strong relay home to nail a runner at the plate. 

Jorge Ramirez (2017 C, Kissimmee, FL)-Good bat speed and plane. Collected a loud wall-ball double in the last half inning.

In what’s become a reoccurring theme this National, California shortstop Tyler Freeman (2017 SS, Rancho Cucamonga, CA) found himself on base after picking up another base hit. This time he went with an outer half fastball and shot it through the right side for a line drive single, taking second base on the throw from the right fielder.

After not having a ball struck with an exit velocity north of 100 over the first couple of days we had a couple within the same inning. Terriez Fuller (2017 OF, Griffin, GA) connected for the first, staying back on a left handed curveball which he ripped down the right field line for a standup triple coming off the barrel at 101 mph. The following half inning Florida commit Brady Smith (2017 C, Niceville, FL) smoked a line drive directly at the left fielder, also jumping off the barrel at 101 mph.

Jack Owen (2017 LHP, Coto De Caza, CA) has been to several Perfect Game events with the BPA DeMarini travel team and he continued to show the same smooth mechanics which he repeated very well. He ran his fastball up to 89 mph and showed a nice feel for both a breaking ball and changeup, each of which came from the same arm slot.

A Clemson commit to made his way to Fort Myers via Michigan, Sam Weatherly (2017 LHP, Howell, MI) came out and ran his fastball up to 90 mph from the left side creating some angle at release. The frame is one that projects very well moving forward at 6-foot-3, 175-pounds and he also flashed a feel for a changeup at 81 mph down in the zone.

Jayson Gonzalez (2017 MIF, Covina, CA) showed hustle out of the box on his flare single just over the first base bag and alertly took second showing off solid footspeed and instincts.

Carson Rudd (2017 RHP, Agoura, CA) is another projectable 6-foot-5 righthanded arm who projects extremely well moving forward. He committed to Stanford shortly after last June’s Junior National and has continued to add velocity ever since, running his fastball up to 89 mph this afternoon while showing depth to the breaking ball and a feel for the changeup.

Jerryell Rivera Gonzalez (2017 LHP, Toa Baja, PR)-Very lean, projectable left hander with an easy delivery and good arm speed. Fastball worked in the upper 80's and touched 90's. Also showed a slider and a changeup, with the changeup showing good fade. 

Ashton McGee (2017 MIF, Goldsboro, NC)-Creates good leverage, and showed very impressive bat speed ripping a triple to the right field wall that left the bat at 98 mph per TrackMan. 

Kier Meredith (2017 OF, Winston-Salem, NC)-Quick, linear swing, strong hands with good bat speed. Lined a single up the middle that left the bat at 96 mph. Also stole second and terrorized pitchers on the bases. 

Jordon Adell (2017 OF, Louisville, KY)-Showed easy plus, plus arm speed on the mound with extreme downhill action. Fastball worked 93-94 mph with heavy life and a power curveball at 81 mph showing depth. 

DL Hall (2017 LHP, Warner Robins, GA)-Long arm action, three quarter slot with an easy delivery. FB works well to both sides at 92-94/95 mph. Also showed a power curveball at 75 that showed sharpness and depth.

Carmen Mlodzinski (2017 RHP, Hilton Head island, SC)-Strong build, projectable frame from a high three quarter slot. Fastball worked downhill well at 88-91 mph and a promising curveball.

BP at Fenway South can turn into Home Run Derby, especially for right handed hitters, but it's nice to see someone like Alejandro Toral (2017 1B, Davie, FL) turn in such a professional BP, lining 380 foot rockets from gap to gap and only leaning and lifting a couple.  He's the #1 ranked player in the 2017 class for a reason.

Daniel Cabrera (2017 OF, River Ridge, LA) also put together a very professional BP, being timed up from the first pitch and hitting hard line drives with a short and crisp swing through the whole round.

Nicholas Storz (2017 RHP, Brooklyn, NY) is 6-6/245 and absurdly strong and well leveraged at the plate.  He made Fenway South look like a Little League park on few swings with 400+ foot bombs to both center and left field.

Oraj Anu (2017 OF, Orlando, FL) showed top of the scale power from both sides of the plate, an extreme rarity in a player at any level.  He doesn't seem to work to hard to hit the ball that hard and far either.

Christian Robinson (2017 OF, Melbourne, FL) needs some adjustments to his swing approach but he's just as strong as Anu and is still 16 years old, having transitioned from the 2018 class during the last year.  He has a very high ceiling.

Christopher Seise (2017 SS, Winter Garden, FL) is another hitter who is one adjustment away from being a top of the grading scale hitter.  He gets easy whippy bat speed and the ball really comes off his barrel well.

Add Pat DeMarco (2017 OF, Winder, GA) to the list of players who took a very professional BP, showing strength and bat speed and consistency in hitting hard line drive after hard line drive.

Justin Cooke (2017 C, Norman, OK) is a rare switch-hitting catcher.  He was pretty much equal from both sides of the plate in his bat speed and approach and has a high offensive ceiling for the position.

Mason Doolittle (2017 C, Jupiter, FL) is another big catcher who shows lots of offensive potential, with a simple right handed swing approach and explosive hands at the ball.

Will Hardigree (2017 C, Auburn, GA) resembles Doolittle in a smaller body in many ways, with good strength in his right handed swing and a short and repeatable swing approach.

Jacob Pearson (2017 OF, West Monroe, LA) has a short left handed swing and a short and quick approach that produced lots of hard line drives and should, with his speed, ensure a high average at the next level.

Cash Case (2017 SS, Mount Dora, FL) had a similar approach and swing as Pearson and might have a bit more raw strength. 

Francis Villaman (2017 SS, Orlando, FL) has very quick hands and explodes them down hard on the ball from a short and sound swing approach.  He back spun some balls and got very good carry on the ball.

Gabriel Rivera (2017 OF, Palmetto Bay, FL) has a very strong 5-11/195 build and a short and explosive right handed swing.
