Kyle Virbitsky is a 2017 RHP/3B with a 6-5 215 lb. frame from Media, PA who attends Episcopal Academy. Big and strong athletic build, still has some physical projection left. Compact arm action, high 3/4's to over the top release point, hides the ball well, lots of downhill angle to his pitches. Mid-80's fastball, projects some velocity with his arm speed and extension out front. Curveball has tight spin and good downer depth and shape, flashed feel for a change up that should become a solid third pitch. Good bet to continue to improve. Showed some right handed power at the plate. Good student, verbal commitment to Penn State.
