5/11/2019

Trevor Kilinski (2020 3B, Zeeland, MI): Kilinski's physicality and strength stood out in a big way in BP, as he showed the ability to really drive the ball the opposite way with authority, including hitting a couple missile line drives off of the left field wall.

John Marant (2020 OF, Tyrone, GA): Marant is already a physical monster with even more room to continue growing, and he's got the raw power to match his size, capable of driving the ball extremely high and extremely far to all fields.

Nickolas Monistere (2022 RHP, Brandon, MS): Monistere took a very professional round of BP, consistently working back through the middle on a line, getting the barrel out on time and projecting well for power as he physically matures.

Jacob Cabeceiras (2021 SS, Metairie, LA):  Cabeceiras showed a very good combination of bat speed, balance, and strength; doing a nice job of working to all fields on rising lines with authority.

Sean Smith (2021 1B, Pascagoula, MS): Smith consistently swung the bat hard and got the head out on time, and from there his strength took over as he consistently drove the ball with authority.

Chase Horst (2022 OF, Lititz, PA): Horst has really nice hitting traits, including a swing that gets on plane early and stays there along with quick, loose hands. He makes firm contact consistently and will drive the ball more as he continues to physically develop.

James Yeager (2021 OF, D'Iberville, MS): Yeager projects very well physically and in terms of power, as he already shows the ability to leverage the ball into the air while squaring it up, and does a good job using the whole field.

Henry Smith (2022 RHP, Athens, GA): Smith swings the bat hard with intent to do damage, and he does a good job of finding the barrel with consistency at this stage, while projecting to continue driving the ball more and more as he fills out his frame.

Drew Wilson (2020 RHP, Pell City, AL): Wilson has advanced physicality and strength and it shows up in his swing, as he did a very nice job of consistently driving the ball on a line with very good jump off the barrel.

Carter Fanning (2021 C, Dothan, AL): Fanning consistently got the barrel turned and hit the ball out front, squaring up line drives throughout his round.

Michael Hopkinson (2021 MIF, Mobile, AL): Hopkinson did an excellent job of getting the barrel turned out front so he could drive the ball into the air, which he did up both gaps with both present jump and projectable pop.
