Albert "Trey" Smith is a 2021 1B/3B with a 5-11 192 lb. frame from Madison, MS who attends Madison Central. Are frame with some strength present in his lower half. Ran a 7.66 second 60 yard dash. Primary first baseman, low effort actions around the bag with developing footwork into double play turns to second base, flashed a clean glove during drills, arm produces average arm strength up to 74 mph from first base, accurate throws. Lefthanded hitter, sets up at the plate with a spread out stance, loads hands up and lifts leg before moving into contact, upper half dominant swing with strong hands that work on a compact downhill path to the baseball, uphill barrel plane through the hitting zone, hits the ball out in front when on time, high finish.
