Kent Carlisle is a 2022 SS/RHP with a 6-2 165 lb. frame from Fort Smith, AR who attends Southside. Skinny and projectable frame with room to fill and time to do so. Ran a 7.16 second 60 yard dash. Primary shortstop, moves to the baseball with long strides fielding the baseball out in front while bending at the waist, takes a long arm action into throws with present arm strength across the diamond, topped out at 85 mph from the infield. Secondary righthanded pitcher, takes his arm back to a long arm action up to a high 3/4 arm slot, generates leverage, could see an improvement with velocity with added lower half involvement, fastball topped out at 82 mph, creates a downhill plane when down in the zone, feel to spin with a 12-6 curveball that has good depth. Righthanded hitter, sets up with an even stance and a high back elbow at the plate, utilizes a leg lift trigger and wraps bat at load, present barrel skills with young bat speed that will continue to improve with additional strength.
