8/4/2019
Ethyn Barnitz (2022 C, Hartford, WV) The West Virginia native showed a clean, inside hand path to contact with a level, line drive barrel plane through extension. Showed the bat speed to created hard, loud contact and drove a double in his last at-bat of the game.
Henry Mitcham (2021 MIF, Lexington, KY) Mitcham displayed good hand speed through the zone with the ability to turn the barrel with authority. Drove a double to deep left center field creating good back spin off the barrel.
Jack Vogele (2022 OF, Loveland, OH) Utilized a balanced, repeatable line drive barrel plane. Showed good feel throughout the zone with a high contact approach. Collected two hits in game action including a triple in his first trip to the plate.
Lenny Washington (2020 RHP, Huntington, WV) The 2020 West Virginia native showed very good arm speed through extension with a heavy fastball that sat in the upper 80's, topped at 90 mph. Washington also flashed the ability to locate a sharp sweeping slider in the mid 70's. At the plate, Washington collected two base hits showing very good strength at contact.
Tyler Ostendorf (2020 OF, Winter Garden, FL) The Florida native effective kept hitters off balance by adding and subtracting with his fastball offering. Consistently stat between 76 to 82 mph but would run fastball up to 84 mph at times. Also displayed good feel for breaking ball in the mid 60's.
Jake Tschida (2022 OF, Cincinnati, OH) The 2022 grad showed a quick, compact path to contact with a linear barrel plane. Displayed good balance throughout swing with the ability to work to all fields. Collected two base hits in game action.

Coltrane Rubner (2021 OF, Livonia, MI) Coltrane showed impressive bat speed throughout the weekend with good strength at contact. Consistently drove the ball with authority. Collected two hits in game actions today including a sharp triple.
Adrian Davis (2021 OF, West Chester, OH) Showed the ability to keep hands inside the baseball and produce solid bat speed through extension. Doubled in his first at-bat of the game.
William Molloy (2020 SS, Lexington, KY) Repeated a clean, linear barrel plane in each at-bat. Consistently hit the baseball with intent collected two hard doubles in game action.
Ashton Nowak (2022 RHP, Flat Rock, MI) Showed the ability to throw the barrel head out front to contact and created tight back spin off the barrel. Doubled deep to the left center field gap in his last at-bat of the game.
Kasen Oribello (2022 1B, New Haven, IN) Showed good strength at contact with a naturally leveraged barrel plane through extension. Shows a knack for finding the barrel and creating hard contact. Collected two hits in game action including a double in his second at-bat of the game.
Lucas Moore (2023 2B, West Chester, OH) Moore impressed again today showing a very mature approach with a clean, repeatable swing. Put together very impressive at-bats while collecting two hits including a triple in his last at-bat.
Coby Gorby (2022 RHP, Lumberport, WV) Gorby displayed good balance at the plate with solid feel for the barrel. Looked to utilize a mid field approach and picked up two base hits in his first two trips.
Jacob Farmer (2021 RHP, Maineville, OH) Farmer showed good strength at contact with the ability to generate tight back spin off the barrel when squared. Threw the barrel well and drove a double to the left center field gap in his last at-bat.
Griffen Haas (2023 OF, Fishers, IN) The 2023 grad showed an aggressive approach at the plate with good feel for the barrel. Consistently barreled the baseball and put together good at bats. Collected two base hits in three trips to the plate.
Nick Kumor (2021 SS, Uniontown, PA) Kumor showed a balance swing plane with a compact path to contact. The 2021 grad looked to utilize a linear swing plane and collected two hits in game action.
Cooper Walker (2020 2B, West Chester, OH) Walker employed a quick, compact path to contact with a line drive barrel plane through extension. Showed good feel for the barrel throughout the zone and collected two hits in game action.
Nathan Manley (2023 C, Loveland, OH) The 2023 catcher displayed quick hands through the zone with present bat speed. Flashed the ability to turn the barrel head with intent and create loud contact, doubled in his first at-bat of the game.

Zach Marzetz (2021 RHP, Blacklick, OH) The 2021 grad showed a heavy fastball with late run and sink to arm side in the low 80's, topped at 83 mph. Marzetz also displayed very good feel for a late biting breaking ball and straight changeup in the low 70's.
Jared Teke (2022 C, Batavia, OH) Teke displayed good upside on the mound featuring a fastball that hand plenty of arm side run in the low 80's, topped at 83 mph. The 2022 grad looked to keep hitters off balance with a 10/5 breaking ball that flashed tight spin with good sweep.

Nik Copenhaver (2023 RHP, Hamilton, OH) The 2023 grad was impressive on the mound showing good arm speed through extension with solid feel for each edge of the zone. Consistently challenged hitters with a fastball offering that sat in the low 80's, topped at 81 mph. Copenhaver also showed good command of a 12/6 breaking ball that generate late bite to the bottom of the zone.
Quin Adelson (2021 3B, Prospect, KY) Adeslon again showed good strength at the plate with the ability to drive the gaps with ease. Tripled sharply to the right center field gap in his second at-bat of the game and later scored.
Cameron Huhn (2021 2B, Maineville, OH) Displayed maturity at the plate paired with a balanced, high contact approach. Consistently barreled the baseball throughout the game and picked up an RBI single in his first at-bat of the game.
Navy vs Green Game Highlights

Jacob Anderson (2021 SS, Oakland Township, MI) The Michigan native showed a direct, compact path to contact with a line drive barrel plane. Displayed good feel for the barrel and collected two base hits in game action.
Jake Orr (2021 IF, Washington, PA) Displayed good balance in swing with an inside swing path to contact. Utilized a level, line drive barrel plane that allowed for a high contact approach. Picked up two hits in three trips to the plate.
Ben Tilford (2021 2B, Florence, KY) Showed a smooth swing with loose hands through extension. Covered all parts of the zone well with the barrel collecting two hits in game action.
Landen Fairchild (2020 RHP, Winfield, WV) The 2020 grad displayed a repeatable arm action with good arm speed through extension. Fastball flashed good arm side run in the low 80's, topped at 83 mph. Also showed the ability to locate an 11/5 breaking ball in both positive and negative counts.

Isaac Ward (2021 3B, Hazel, KY) Kept hands inside baseball well at contact with a level, line drive barrel plane. Stays balanced throughout swing with allows him to deliver barrel to all parts of the zone consistently.

Joel Beattie (2021 C, Letart, WV) Displayed good bat speed through the zone with the ability to turn the barrel with authority. Doubled sharply down the left field line in his last at-bat of the game.
Jake Tschida (2022 OF, Cincinnati, OH) Showed good feel for the barrel throughout the zone. Flashed the ability to drop the barrel to pitches low and drive them with authority. Picked up two base hits in game action.
Lenny Washington (2020 RHP, Huntington, WV) Consistently created loud, hard contact throughout the day. Lined out sharply to straight away center field in his first at-bat and later double off the wall to deep left field.
TJ Hammons (2022 C, Cincinnati, OH) Showed good bat speed through the zone with solid jump off the barrel. Hammered a double to straight away centerfield that generated very good carry off the barrel.
Nick Kumor (2021 SS, Uniontown, PA) Displayed good hand speed through the zone with whip at finish. Collected two sharp hits in his three trips to the plate.
Cooper Walker (2020 2B, West Chester, OH) Employed a balanced, repeatable line drive barrel plane with good feel for the barrel. Walker collected two sharp singles in his three trips to the plate.
Wesley Parker (2022 1B, Venetia, PA) The 2020 grad displayed good strength in his swing with the ability to drive the baseball with authority. Consistently generated hard contact off the barrel and proved to be a tough out.
Will Hunt (2021 RHP, Jane Lew, WV) Hunt showed good athleticism on the mound with a repeatable arm stroke. Fastball jumped out of hand well creating occasional downhill tilt in the low 80's, topped at 83 mph. Also showed good feel for his breaking ball in the low 70's.
Andrew Patrick (2021 SS, Columbus, OH) Patrick showed a lean, projectable frame while on the mound. The 2021 grad displayed a loose three-quarters arm slot that produced some running action to arm side with a fastball that topped at 86 mph.

Drew Cavanaugh (2020 C, Rochester Hills, MI) Showed a mature approach at the plate with good feel for the barrel throughout the zone. Also displayed good strength to all fields picking up both a double and triple in game action. Worked on the mound as well showing good arm speed through extension with a fastball that jumped through the zone in the mid 80's, topped at 86 mph.
Lucas Moore (2023 2B, West Chester, OH) Moore displayed very good balance throughout his swing with a knack for finding the barrel. Collected two hits in three at-bats including a double in the sixth inning.
Brandon Rice (2022 RHP, Macomb Township, MI) Impressed with the bat today showing solid barrel whip through the zone while employing a mid-field approach. Collected three base hits in all three trips the plate. On the mound Rice worked three innings featuring a fastball that generated some downhill tilt in the upper 70's to low 80's, topped at 82 mph.
Quin Adelson (2021 3B, Prospect, KY) Adelson employed a slightly lifted barrel plane through extension with present bat speed at contact. Showed the ability to turn the barrel to contact and picked up a double in his last at-bat of the day.
Conner Stewart (2021 C, Clinton, OH) The 2021 catcher displayed good hand speed through the zone while employing a naturally leveraged barrel plane through extension. Kept hands inside the baseball well that allowed for strength to all fields. Picked up two hits in game action including an RBI double in the seventh inning.
Merrik Coulter (2020 BHP, Glasgow, KY) Coulter is a rare both handed pitcher that displayed good arm speed from both the right and left side. Coulter gets slightly more jump out of his fastball from the right side, topping at 83 mph than the left where he topped at 79 mph.
Ashton Nowak (2022 RHP, Flat Rock, MI) Nowak showed good pitchability with the feel to change speeds in positive and negative counts. The 2022 grad topped at 81 mph and changed speed with a breaking ball in the low 70's and a change up in the upper 60's. Also flashed a knuckleball offering that had some flutter in the mid low to mid 70's.
Coltrane Rubner (2021 OF, Livonia, MI) The Michigan native showed good athleticism in the box with solid feel for the barrel. Generated good whip through extension that produced plenty of present bat speed and strength at contact.

Lucas Moore (2023 2B, West Chester, OH) Flashed an upright stance with a linear weight shift into contact. Displayed the ability to create bat speed with good barrel control creating consistently driven line drives to the pull side and up the middle.
Coltrane Rubner (2021 OF, Livonia, MI) Employs a crouched stance with a big leg lift trigger creating good leverage in the swing at weight shift. Showed the ability to find the barrel consistently with solid line drives throughout the round. Later in the round flashed the ability to drive the ball to and through the gaps in the outfield.
Damaurys Rodriguez (2020 C, Wernersville, PA) From the left side showed a swing with impressive bat speed and explosive, athletic actions. Displayed present power to all fields from the left side of the plate with consistently driven contact throughout the round. From the right side of the plate showed more of a contact oriented swing creating consistently loud line drives.
Cole Reynolds (2022 SS, Somerset, KY) Employs a slightly spread stance working to a big leg lift trigger. Showed a quiet hand path to the ball with interesting speed through the zone. Displayed present gap to gap power with consistently driven contact to and through the right field and left field gaps in the outfield.
Quinn Petty (2021 3B, Cumming, GA) Displayed the ability to create impressive bat speed to go along with good barrel control creating consistently driven line drives. Also showed the ability to turn the barrel out front with good bat speed with loud contact to the pull side multiple times during batting practice.
Ethan Tuttle (2021 SS, Lexington, KY) Showed a middle to pull side approach with good barrel speed during batting practice. Showed a downhill swing path creating consistent line drives to the middle and pull side of the field. Flashed the ability later in the round to get the barrel out and create loud contact to the pull side.
Jerald Bush (2021 C, Noblesville, IN) Employs a gap to gap approach looking to drive the baseball to and through the gaps in the outfield with a high intent swing. Showed the ability to create good bat speed and work the barrel out front with good power to the pull side.
Asher Stevens (2021 RHP, Ashland, KY) Utilizes a closed off stance with good balance throughout the swing. Showed raw skills with strong bat to ball skills. Displayed the ability to create jump off the barrel to the outfield when on time and squared.

Works to the middle of the field with consistent loud contact. Also flashed good power to the pull side with good barrel speed and extension.
