Ashton Nowak is a 2022 RHP/3B, SS, OF with a 6-0 155 lb. frame from Flat Rock, MI who attends Gabriel Richard. Long, lanky build with room to fill out and present athleticism. Ran a 7.22 second sixty-yard dash. Primary right handed pitcher, Stretch only using a belt high leg lift staying slightly flexed with a hip coil at gather going to drop and drive actions down the mound landing online with the plate and staying online with the plate through finish. Displayed interesting arm speed from a three-quarter slot. Explosive delivery down the mound. Flashed a fastball with cut action at times up to 81 mph complemented with a 11/5 curveball with good depth up to 74 mph, a little sinking change up at 68 mph and a intriguing knuckleball at 74 miles per hour creating swing and miss. Also worked out in the infield. Displayed clean glove actions and footwork working to and through the baseball. Flashed clean transfers into throws with good arm strength and accurate carry to the bases topping out at 83 mph across the infield. Right handed hitter. Employs an upright narrow stance with a leg lift trigger and smooth weight shift into contact. Flashed a linear swing path with good barrel speed. Displayed the ability to drive the ball to and through the gaps in the outfield when on time and squared. Excellent student.
