Drew Cavanaugh is a 2020 C/RHP/3B with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from Rochester Hills, MI who attends IMG Academy. Athletic body with good overall length, has some present strength with more to come. 7.12 runner, has very quick actions behind the plate defensively, is low and flexible in his set up, exchange and transition to throw is outstanding, 1.83 drill pop time done with game actions, emphasizes quickness in his release over pure arm strength throwing. Switch hitter, has a similar swing with similar bat speed from both sides of the plate, starts tall and open and stays tall throughout, has quick hands to the ball and a short and direct swing, bit more ability to turn on the ball from the left side.
