Ezekiel King is a 2021 C/RHP, 2B, 3B, SS, MIF, IF, OF, UT with a 5-9 150 lb. frame from Lake Orion, MI who attends Rochester Adams. Compact build with present athleticism. Ran a 6.91 second sixty-yard dash. Worked out defensively as a primary catcher. Employs a low even start with confident receiving actions. Flashed quick footwork working to second base gaining ground well. Displayed quick transfers into throws with good arm strength and accurate carry to second base topping out at 72 mph and posting a 1.94 second pop time. Also worked out defensively in the outfield. Flashed an athletic crow hop into throws to go along with clean transfers and good arm strength topping out at 80 mph from the outfield. Right handed hitter. Employs an upright slightly open stance with a stride back to even. Showed a naturally elevated barrel path through the zone with good bat speed creating consistently loud contact. Showed a gap to gap approach with the ability to drive the ball to and through the gaps in the outfield. Also pitched. Employs a small side step to belt high leg lift staying slightly flexed at gather going to drop and drive actions down the mound landing online with the plate and recoiling at finish. Showed a long arm action with looseness going to a mid three-quarter slot at release with good arm speed. Features a heavy fastball with good control up to 79 mph and a 11/5 curveball with good depth thrown for consistent strikes as well at 69 mph. Good student. Named to the 2019 Ohio Valley Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.
