2022 Top Prospects

JeanPierre Ortiz  MIF - 2022 - Carolina, PR
Florida International

Ortiz is a legit two-way prospect with advanced arm strength. He topped out at 92 mph on the mound with a three pitch mix. He throws it at 94 mph across the infield and really impressed with the bat, showing easy juice and strong hands.

Karson Bowen  C - 2022 - Anaheim Hills, CA

Bowen was consistent at the plate all event with the ability to drive the ball from line to line while creating power from his strong lower half. Defensively he recorded a 1.89 second pop time behind the dish.

Yoel Tejeda Jr.  1B - 2022 - Davie, FL

Tejeda continues to impress with his length and ability to stay through the baseball driving it to all parts of the park with easy carry.

Andrew Fischer  3B - 2022 - Wall, NJ

Fischer is a very physical 6-2/190 left-handed hitting infielder but runs a solid 6.87 sixty time. He is good on the left side of the infield with arm strength clocked up to 90 mph and shows his best on the offensive end as he often finds the barrel with serious jump off impact.

Diego Guevara  OF - 2022 - Statesboro, GA

Guevara showed a big arm from the outfield topping out at 94 mph and the speed to go along with it recording a 6.81 sixty. His 6-foot-4 210-pound frame show some present strength with more to come as he continues to fill out.

Elliott Bray  RHP - 2022 - Hartselle, AL

Bray was solid on the mound with a three pitch mix that featured a fastball up to 90 mph. He backed the fastball with a firm changeup and curveball that showed good depth.

David Bell  C - 2022 - Evans, GA

Bell impressed with multiple aspects of his game. He ran his fastball up to 88 mph on the mound, popped a 1.86 pop time, and showed physical strength at the plate with the ability to drive the ball using the middle of the field.

Anthony “AJ” Hunerberg  OF - 2022 - Palm Beach Gardens, FL

Hunerberg is a speedy outfielder that showed the ability to play in the infield as well. The 6.63 runner throws it 85 mph from the outfield and collected two or more hits in each of his games.

Carlos Elian Martinez  OF - 2022 - Coamo, PR

Martinez's name was all over the leaderboards for this event, running a 6.95 second 60, throwing it at 90 mph from the outfield, and recording a 93 mph exit velo. He has a smooth left-handed stroke with advanced bat-to-ball skills.

Jankel Ortiz  SS - 2022 - Rio Grande, PR

Ortiz was electric through the entirety of the event, taking one of the best defensive rounds in the infield with ultra-athleticism and arm strength into the low-90s across while impressing with a fluid stroke and accurate barrel on the offensive end. He also hopped on the mound where he created great life on a fastball up to 90 mph and worked in a pair of good secondary pitches.

Yannis Rembert  SS - 2022 - Fayetteville, GA

Rembert looks the part with a present strong 6-1/190 build and uses his strength well to create very good right handed bat speed. He's a 6.74 runner who showed plenty of arm strength from both the infield and outfield as well.

Jack Wise  RHP - 2022 - Augusta, GA
Georgia State

Wise impressed in his time on the mound where his athleticism and arm speed helped in running his fastball up to 91 mph, while living in the upper-80s and showing feel for a sharp, vertical breaking ball that was able to garner swing-and-miss.

Eric Fouraker Jr  C - 2022 - Bryceville, FL

Fouraker Jr's name was all over the leaderboards for this event, posting one of the best pop times (1.88), catcher velos (77), and exit velos (90). The primary catcher showed the ability to create lift and impact the baseball to his pull side.

Justin Robinson  RHP - 2022 - Carriere, MS

Robinson impressed on the mound working quickly with good tempo and running his fastball up to 89 mph. He also showed feel for a slider landing it for strikes frequently.

Bryant Zayas  SS - 2022 - Hialeah, FL
North Carolina State

Zayas is loaded with tools that translate to his in-game success, with a 6.5 sixty time, arm strength up to 90 mph across to go with the hands and lateral range to stick up the middle and a strong swing that generates exit velos into the low-90s while being able to find barrels during game action.

Tysen Benford  1B - 2022 - Acworth, GA

Benford impressed on the mound as well as at the plate. On the mound the big physical right-hander ran his fastball up to 86 mph while pounding the zone. At the plate he showed some loud pop with a long home run to the pull side and a 96 mph exit velocity.

Elgin Bennett  OF - 2022 - Fayetteville, GA

Bennett is one of the faster players in the 2022 class and blazed his way to an event best 6.28 in the sixty. The Illinois commit is a left handed hitter with some present bat speed and an improving ability to square the ball up.

Aidyn Coffey  SS - 2022 - Albany, IN

Coffey produced on the mound and in the box. He ran his fastball up to 84 mph with plenty of room to project more as he continues to fill out his 6-foot-4 frame. In the box he showed a fluid stoke with a well engaged lower half and the ability to impact the ball to the pull side.

Jay Knowles  SS - 2022 - Statesboro, GA
Indiana State

Knowles had a loud event from a numbers standpoint as he ran a solid 6.94 sixty but impressed immensely during defensive workouts where he was clocked up to 97 mph across the infield with all the tools to stick at the premier position long term.

Dakota McCaskill  1B - 2022 - Tyler, TX

McCaskill brings a physical 6-foot-4 210 pound frame to the right side of the plate where he showcased some easy power with a home run in game action. He also showed well behind the dish with a 1.96 second pop time.

Chandler Pollard  OF - 2022 - Winston, GA

Pollard showcased a strong arm from the outfield topping out at 93 mph with accuracy. That strong arm will pair nicely with his 6.44 second speed in center field.

Jack Scheri  SS - 2022 - Peru, IL

Scheri showed well offensively and defensively with a well built frame. At the plate he produced in game action with easy jump off the barrel to the pull side.

Thrasher Steed  RHP - 2022 - Orange Beach, AL

Steed brings a solid two pitch mix to the bump with a fastball that sits in the upper 80's and a swing and miss slider allowing him to produce plenty of strikeouts.

Jose Toledano  OF - 2022 - Weston, FL

Toledano has a very projectable 6-3/180 body and is a nice athlete with two-way potential. He threw 92 mph from the outfield and 85 mph off the mound to highlight his arm strength and showed plenty of left handed bat speed at the plate.

Bryce Blevins  LHP - 2022 - Louisa, KY

Blevins showed polished actions on the mound with a solid three pitch mix. He ran his fastball up to 87 mph and backed it with a 12-6 curveball and straight changeup.

Jameson Caro  OF - 2022 - Hialeah, FL
Florida International

Caro was impressive with his ability to consistently impact with loud contact throughout the event. Defensively he displayed clean actions with good feel for the glove.

Josh DeGroot  SS - 2022 - Caledonia, WI

DeGroot showed good twitch on the infield as well as in his straight line speed with a 6.75 second sixty. On the dirt his glove plays and he has the arm strength to project on the left side long term.

Edian Espinal  SS - 2022 - Viera, FL

Espinal showcased his smooth skill set as a left-handed hitting middle infielder. Defensively he showed an arm that has the strength to project on the left side. Offensively he was able to routinely impact the baseball on a line.

Lane Essary  RHP - 2022 - Hickory, NC
East Carolina

Essary is an athletic and projectable right-hander who is able to work into the upper-80s already with good quality life to the fastball and shows feel for a firm mid-70s slider that garners plenty of swing-and-miss already.

Alex Lodise  3B - 2022 - Saint Augustine, FL

Lodise is an athletic two-way prospect with multiple tools. He runs a 6.98 60-yard dash, throws it 90 mph across the infield, and flashed the barrel accuracy all week long. He also touched 87 mph on the mound with a hammer curveball.

Grant McDonald  OF - 2022 - Boca Raton, FL

McDonald is a big and strong 6-3/195 athlete with an aggressive right handed swing at the plate and lots of power potential. He has lots of potential on defense in the outfield with athleticism and very good fundamentals and also plays the infield.

Gavin Miller  3B - 2022 - Oakdale, PA

Miller was impressive in all facets of his game. On the mound he pounded the zone, running his fastball up to 87 mph. At the dish he showed a simple swing with power up the middle to the pull side.

Cristopher Morales  SS - 2022 - Guayanilla, PR

Morales displayed a solid two pitch mix with a fastball that sat in the mid to upper 80's and a slider that proved to be a quality out pitch to both lefties and righties.

Damian Jose Ortiz  OF - 2022 - Guayama, PR

Ortiz is a tooled up outfielder that runs a 6.77 second 60 yard dash and throws it at 87 mph. In the box, he has some hand quickness with a short and direct path to the ball that projects.

Cadmiel Pompa  OF - 2022 - Lakeland, FL

Pompa is an exciting prospect that runs a 6.72 second 60 and throws it 89 mph from the outfield. He shows an explosive swing with power that projects.

Natangel Santana  OF - 2022 - Palmyra, PA

Santana is a well-built 6-2/175 left-handed hitting outfielder who was clocked up to 89 mph on throws from the outfield in a solid defensive round and has a natural feel for finding the barrel with a simple and repeatable swing that projects with more strength.

Tamden Webb-Tate  C - 2022 - Ankeny, IA

Webb-Tate is a power/power player with a very strong 6-2/215 body. His best defensive tool is his powerful arm and there is no lack of bat speed, intent or power potential in his right handed bat.

Adam Brooks  RHP - 2022 - Woodstock, GA

Brooks showed confidence in his two pitch mix throwing either offering in any count. He showed the ability to run his fastball up to 87 mph and good feel for a low 70's slider.

Cartagena looks the part with a strongly built 6-1/185 frame, while showing consistent ability to impact the baseball with present bat speed and strength through contact. He's a 7.05 runner who showed arm strength up to 87 mph in outfield drills as well.

Omari Daniel  SS - 2022 - Smyrna, GA

Daniel showed athletic actions on the infield and plenty of arm strength getting the ball across the diamond at 90 mph. Offensively he is able to use his quick hands to routinely find the barrel and impact the baseball.

Erick Delgado  C - 2022 - Miami, FL

Delgado showed an intriguing combination of speed, athleticism and power throughout the event. The strong, compactly built catcher ran a 7.20 sixty, while displaying the ability to impact the baseball consistently to all fields and translating his performance in catcher drills to game action.

Logan Duffy  OF - 2022 - Toms River, NJ
Old Dominion

Duffy brings a smooth fluid stroke from the left side with the ability to create lift to the middle of the field and the opposite field gap.

Ryan Hughes  RHP - 2022 - Cave Creek, AZ

Hughes showed good pitch ability working his mid 80's fastball to both sides of the plate and mixing in a well tunneled breaking ball with tight spin and late depth. His 6-foot-6 frame shows plenty of room to fill as he continues to mature,

Clancy Marsh  OF - 2022 - Boca Raton, FL

Marsh has a projectable 6-0/155 middle infielder's body and is a switch-hitter with a smooth and fluid swing from both sides of the plate and especially the left side. A 6.94 runner, he's listed as a primary MIF but played mostly outfield at this event.

Will Merrix  OF - 2022 - Tallahassee, FL

Merrix put up a good showing across the entirety of the event, running a 6.85 sixty, clocking up to 86 mph in a solid round from the outfield, showing intrigue with loose/quick hands with a knack for the barrel and working 85-87 on the mound with impressive overall stuff.

Freddy Oquendo  OF - 2022 - Hialeah, FL

Oquendo is ultra-athletic and it translates to his defensive prowess where he patrols the outfield with ease and shows excellent overall actions. He also has a knack for success on the offensive end as a grinder contact-type who can create some surprising jump with low-90s exit velos.

Michael (Mikey) Bell  SS - 2022 - Fresno, CA

Bell showcased his abilities on the mound and in the field during this one. He shows advanced defensive actions at SS, and topped out at 86 mph on the mound with a strong and athletic frame.

Anthony Fernandez  OF - 2022 - Cranston, RI

Fernandez showed a big arm from the outfield topping out at 90 mph. He also showcased a smooth stroke from the left side with the ability to impact the ball to the pull side.

Nathan Hall  OF - 2022 - Lexington, SC

Hall possesses a projectable 6-foot-3 high waisted frame. A right handed hitter, he showed fast hands with good barrel whip and plenty of pull side intent in his swing.

Taylor Harris  OF - 2022 - Woodstock, GA

Harris showed a big arm throughout his workouts topping out at 90 mph from the outfield running his fastball up to 84 mph. At the plate he showed some quickness in the hands producing a 91 mph exit velocity.

Jackson Hiatt  1B - 2022 - Cantonment, FL

Hiatt is a very physical right-handed hitting first baseman at 6-5/215 who creates great bat speed with lift and jump off the barrel and shows some intrigue on the mound where's he currently up to 84 with good downward angle and late life.

Keegan Knutson  3B - 2022 - Janesville, WI

Knutson showed well on both sides of the ball with smooth defensive action and good carry across the diamond. At the plate he works well from the opposite field gap to the pull side with authority.

Trenton Rowan  OF - 2022 - Erie, CO

Rowan possesses some impressive bat speed froth left side of the plate. He does a nice job of creating loft and leverage through the hitting zone projecting for potential big power number to come.

Jack Schrafft  SS - 2022 - Milton, GA

Schraft has a very projectable 6-foot-4 190-pound frame. On the infield he showed clean glove work as he stays through the ball smooth into his transfer. At the plate he brings some hands speed working well from gap to gap.

Cooper Whitton  OF - 2022 - San Diego, CA

Whitton showed good bat speed and length through the hitting zone from the right side of the plate. His strength in his 6-foot-3 frame and bat speed allow him to drive the ball with some authority from the middle of the field to the puss side.

Nicholas Alonso  OF - 2022 - Miami, FL

Alonso showcased his elite speed, running a 6.65 second 60-yard dash. He also flashed the arm strength in the outfield, throwing it at 88 mph.

Jamarie Brooks  OF - 2022 - Riverdale, GA

Brooks is an athletic outfielder who began the event by running a 6.94 sixty and impressed with the bat as he showed the ability to impact the ball consistently on a line and showed a level of simplicity that should be good to project on as he continues to fill out.

Garrett Dropp  MIF - 2022 - Woodstock, GA

Dropp showed good athleticism with a 6.78 second sixty. At the plate he showed a simple approach with an accurate barrel working level through the zone and some impact skills to the pull side.

Hutch Ezell  C - 2022 - Dacula, GA

Ezell displays a long build with room to fill moving forward. At the plate he has good rhythm to his right-handed swing and showed the ability to create leverage to the pull side.

Lukas Farris  1B - 2022 - Acworth, GA

Farris displayed a very consistent approach at the plate with the ability to impact the baseball from gap to gap with authority.

Andy Holub  3B - 2022 - Bronxville, NY

Holub was impressive at the plate getting his hands to and through the ball with intent from the middle of the field to the pull side and producing a 94 mph exit velocity.

Caleb Kempler  RHP - 2022 - Princeton Junction, NJ

Kempler showed arm strength on the mound and in the outfield, topping out int he mid 80's. At the plate he uses some of the length in his frame to cover the plate and drive the ball to all fields.

Robinson has a projectable 6-foot 170-pound frame with room to add strength moving forward. At the plate he showed the ability to loft the ball to the middle of the field with easy carry off the barrel.

Richard Segura  C - 2022 - Providence, RI

Segura showed well in game action with a loud double in theft center field gap. His right-handed swing works level through the zone impacting the baseball the best to the middle of the field.

Matthew Thompson  RHP - 2022 - Spanish Fort, AL

Thompson showed well in multiple facets of his game with strength in his right handed swing and big arm on the infield and the mound, He ran his fastball up to 85 mph and showed feel for a slider in the mid 70's.

Teddy Andrews  LHP - 2022 - Westmont, IL

Andrews showed very clean actions on the mound running his fastball up to 86 mph with with life from a three-quarters arm slot. His 6-foot-3 frame shows plenty of room to fill out moving forward.

Grey Brannen  1B - 2022 - Elko, GA

Brannen has a highly projectable frame at 6-6/215, while showing 7.13 speed in the sixty and a nice combination of present bat speed and power potential at the plate.

Gavin Brunsman  3B - 2022 - Alexandria, VA

Brunsman brings an aggressive approach to the plate with the ability to impact the ball to all fields with his quick direct bat path. His 6-foot-2 frame shows room to project as he continues to mature.

M Tyler Gorbett  C - 2022 - Newport News, VA

Gorbett brings a lean projectable frame to the mound. He works front the stretch only and does a nice job getting his lower half involved as he runs his fastball up to 86 mph.

Matt Little  C - 2022 - Anaheim Hills, CA

Little is an athletic catcher as a 7.0 runner who showed his arm strength clocking up to 88 mph from the outfield and 77 mph from a crouch while also showing intrigue on the offensive end where his bat-to-ball skills created consistent line drive contact throughout his BP round.

Agyei Quinichett  RHP - 2022 - Atlanta, GA

Quinichett does a nice job using his strong lower half to drive down the mound as he showed the ability to run his fastball into the mid 80's and backed it with a tight spinning slider.

Jackson Steensma  RHP - 2022 - Byron Center, MI

Steensma brings a large physical build to the mound and the ability to run his fastball up to 87 mph. He showed heavy life on the fastball producing plenty of swings and misses.

Jaxon Brooks  3B - 2022 - Burlington, IA

Brooks impressed in his outing on the mound topping out at 83 mph with his fastball and landing a well tunneled curveball to strike out four.

Preston Chaudoin  RHP - 2022 - Herndon, KY

Chaudoin has a strongly built 5-10/175 frame and uses that strength well into all facets of his game; he was clocked up to 88 mph in infield workouts, has some jump off the barrel when squared and works in the mid-80s on the mound with feel for a pair of breaking balls.

Blake Zabala  C - 2022 - Ellijay, GA

Zabala showed a big arm behind the dish with a 2.00 pop time coming out at 81 mph. His arm translated to the outfield as well with good carry on his throws at 85 mph.

Antonio Anderson  SS - 2023 - Atlanta, GA
Georgia Tech

Anderson has been a consistent performer all year. He continues to show limitless projection with the ability to do damage from both sides of the plate and a smooth defensive profile.

Walter Ford  3B - 2023 - Hoover, AL

Ford continues to prove his two way potential as he showed well on the mound as well as at the dish. He ran his fastball up to 93 mph and found multiple loud barrels to the pull side.

Wesley Mendes  LHP - 2023 - Tampa, FL

Mendes showed in a big way not only as a left handed pitcher but as an athlete at the event. He was up to 91 mph on his fastball with explosive late life at the plate to highlight his pitching talent and also ran a 6.84 while showing plenty of upside as a right handed hitter.

Dylan Cupp  SS - 2023 - Cedartown, GA
Mississippi State

Cupp has cemented himself as a one of the top middle infielders defensively in the 2023 class with easy range in both directions and plenty of arm to stick on the left side.

Tyson Roberson  1B - 2023 - Powder Springs, GA

Roberson really showcased his power, blasting two home runs in one game, both to his pull side. The primary first baseman has a left-handed bat with huge power potential and the ability to create lift.

Nathanael Coupet  OF - 2023 - Boynton Beach, FL

Coupet put his power on full display in the games, launching two home runs to his pull side. The right-handed hitter has legit bat speed and jump off the barrel.

Alex Karst  1B - 2023 - Smyrna, GA

Karst is a long and very projectable 6-7/205 right handed hitter with big offensive potential. He has a very short swing considering his length but doesn't sacrifice any power keeping it short. Karst was also up to 86 mph on the mound to show his potential there.

Deskins has established himself as one of the classes consistent performers with the tools that posit that success; he has quick feet behind the dish allowing to get out of the crouch with good speed and has good hand speed in a direct, but loose stroke from the right-handed box.

Gonzalez has an athletic pretense in the box with a projectable frame, He showed the ability to drive the ball to the pull side and power that should continue to develop as he matures.

Luke Orfi  SS - 2023 - Cumming, GA

Orfi proved to be one of the most complete prospects in his class, running a 6.73 second 60, throwing it 85 mph across the infield, and recording a 90 mph exit velo. The sophomore impressed with his bat and his glove during the games.

Edward Phelps III  3B - 2023 - Norcross, GA

Phelps brings the ability to impact the game in multiple ways. Defensively he showed good feel for the glove picking it cleanly at third. offensively he brings some juice from the right side of the plate with plenty of strength in the swing.

Daegan Strickland  C - 2023 - Pooler, GA

Strickland impressed on the mound and at the plate this week, showcasing his versatility. He was up to 85 mph with a legit three pitch mix and a repeatable operation. He also displayed advanced feel for the barrel and the ability to create loud impact.

Jacob Brown  SS - 2023 - Ann Arbor, MI
West Virginia

Brown showed the ability to impact the baseball in a big way with a 100 mph exit velocity that translated to the game as he routinely drove the baseball back up the middle.

Anthony Belisario  SS - 2023 - Staten Island, NY

Belisario has a live arm on the mound with plenty of room to add strength to his young lean frame. He topped out at 86 mph with the fastball and worked to both half of the plate. He flashed feel for a sharp 11-5 curveball as a secondary offering.

Gabriel J Cruz  RHP - 2023 - Miami, FL

Cruz has a projectable profile with room to fill on his 5-foot-11 170-pound frame. He sat in the mid to upper 80 with a live fastball topping out at 88 mph. Flashed feel for a put away breaking ball as well with sharp break.

Luke Geske  RHP - 2023 - Sarasota, FL

Geske commands the mound with a physical presence and works down the mound with an efficient delivery. He ran his fastball up to 88 mph and showed some pitch ability with a sharp slider.

Grady Maples  RHP - 2023 - Beaverton, OR

Maples is a highly projectable right-hander at 6-3/161 that will continue to improve as he adds more strength. The Oregon native worked his fastball up to 84 mph during his outing from a high three-quarters arm slot, while showing the ability to command both sides of the plate efficiently. The breaking ball showed promise with gradual 11/5 break and the ability to throw it for strikes. Maples showed good mound composure and intriguing upside throughout.

Samuel Stafura  SS - 2023 - Mohegan Lake, NY

Stafura showed intriguing upside in all facets of his game by recording arm strength up to 91 mph across the infield, running a 7.20 sixty-yard dash and taking one of the louder BP rounds of the event. The strongly built infielder impacted the baseball with authority to the middle and pull-side of the field.

Tyler Bak  OF - 2023 - Sugar Hill, GA

Bak has a lean athletic profile with good bat to ball skills and the ability to keep the hands inside the baseball and work the other way with a mature approach. His 6.89 speed projects well as an outfielder as he continues to mature.

Andrew Cedano  RHP - 2023 - Locust Grove, GA

Cedano is a confident right-hander with feel for three pitches. His fastball got up to 87 mph while sitting in the mid 80's and was backed by a tight spinning curveball and changeup.

Boston Forbes  C - 2023 - Marietta, GA

Forbes has a lot of room to fill in his 6-foot-5 200-pound frame. On the mound he sat 80-85 mph with his fastball mixing a two and four seam fastball while pounding the inner half.

Brady Francisco  C - 2023 - Simi Valley, CA

Francisco is a nice all around athlete who showed agility and athleticism both behind the plate receiving and in the outfield. The right handed hitter also showed quick, strong hands at the plate offensively and was consistently on time in his swings.

Cole Johnson  1B - 2023 - The Hills, TX

Johnson showed strength in his right-handed swing in workouts as well as game action with a projectable 6-foot-4 210-pound frame. He is able to use that frame to create length through contact and drive the baseball.

Tate McKee  RHP - 2023 - Kennesaw, GA

McKee has clean and simple mechanics that project well with his long and lanky frame. He touched 88 mph on the mound with a 12-6 curveball that snaps hard as it crosses the plate.

Drew Reaves  SS - 2023 - Pensacola, FL

Reaves presents a projectable 6-foot-1 185-pound frame. On the mound he was effective in the zone with all three of his offerings running his fastball up to 85 mph. At the dish his right-handed swing shows serious intent with developing power.

Nick Robert  1B - 2023 - Stuart, FL

The 6-foot-5 sophomore has an impressive frame and tremendous upside as a two-way player. He was up to 86 mph on the mound and has middle of the lineup potential with the bat, showing advanced barrel whip and bat speed.

Ethan Farris  SS - 2023 - Cypress, TX

Farris showcased flashes of developing power with the ability to routinely find the barrel. The power will continue to develop as he continues to fill out his 6-foot-3 175 pound frame.

Ben Barrow  C - 2023 - Jacksonville, FL

Barrow displayed a big arm all week as he popped a 1.95 second pop time at 82 mph from behind the dish. On the mound he ran his fastball up to 84 mph and from the outfield he topped out at 88 mph.

Ryan Gargett  C - 2023 - Sarasota, FL

Gargett showed well on the mound as well as behind the dish. He ran his fastball up to 87 mph with a good mound presence and athletic delivery. Behind the plate he showed quick actions and carry on his throws with a 1.95 second pop time.

Hunter Gotschall  RHP - 2023 - Peyton, CO

Gotschall impressed with a three mile per hour velocity jump from his previous best. he topped out at 87 mph and held it for three innings while also landing a firm 12-6 curveball for strikes.

Christian Taylor  SS - 2023 - Mt. Juliet, TN
Middle Tennessee State

Taylor stood out with his glove showing his ability to range both directions and the arm to complete the play. At the dish he worked level through the zone to find plenty of success in game action.

John "Alex" Walsh  RHP - 2023 - Alexandria, LA

Walsh shows confidence on the mound as he works with a deliberate pace but commands the mound and pounds the zone. He ran his fastball up to 87 mph and struck out eight in his three innings.

Cody Wells  3B - 2023 - Mt. Vernon, IN

Wells is a very strong 6-2/215 right-handed hitting third baseman who has arm strength up to 89 across the diamond and serious jump off the barrel as he incorporates his lower half well, but impressed on the mound as well working in the mid-80s with good downhill action to the fastball and feel for two solid secondary pitches.

Blake Dean  RHP - 2023 - Acworth, GA

Dean put his arm strength on full display in this one, throwing one of the top outfield velos at 91 mph, and topping out at 85 mph on the mound. His fastball had cut action to it that proved to be difficult to hit.

Chris Diaz  OF - 2023 - Pomona, NY

Diaz impressed with the bat in batting practice and performed well in the games. He has a smooth left-handed swing with quick hands and the ability to impact the ball to his pull side.

Tyner Horn  RHP - 2023 - Halstead, KS

Horn is only 5-11/150 but has a fast and liquid right arm that registered 90 mph from the outfield and 87 mph with a tight spinning curveball on the mound. Be patient while he gets stronger!

Derek Lopez  C - 2023 - Windermere, FL

Lopez showed well in all three phases of the game. He displayed his athleticism with a 6.98 sixty and solid defensive actions with a 1.97 pop time. Offensively he routinely found the barrel in game action with a fluid right-handed stroke as a switch hitter.

Matt Manley  2B - 2023 - Huntsville, AL

Manley has the ability to fill up the zone with a fastball up to 87 mph that flashes some heavy sink. His lean build could easily see him add velocity as he continues to fill out.

Lewis Rodriguez  OF - 2023 - Garnerville, NY

Rodriguez put his tools on display, running a 6.87 second 60 and throwing it 85 mph from the outfield. He also flashed some potential on the mound, running his fastball up to 84 mph and showing a sharp curveball.

Matthew Blackmon  RHP - 2023 - Federal Way, WA

Blackmon was an intriguing look on the mound with plenty of projection left in his 6-foot-5 185-pound frame. He does a nice job using his length to create tilt coming from an over the top slot with a low to mid 80's fastball.

NJ Gott  3B - 2023 - Northbrook, IL

Gott possess the innate ability to find consistent barrels, and he did just that in the games. He has present bat speed with excellent plate coverage and barrel awareness.

Branton Stringer  1B - 2023 - Hartselle, AL

Stringer displayed his his ability to impact the baseball with pop to the pull side and the ball coming off the barrel well as his quick hands work through the zone.

Ryan Beaty  2B - 2023 - Waller, TX

Beaty displayed his impact skills from the right side of the dish as he routinely gets the barrel head out front and drives the baseball to the pull side with some jump off the barrel.

Matthew Goldenbaum  RHP - 2023 - Fairless Hills, PA

Goldenbaum impressed on the mound with a live arm running his fastball up to 86 mph. He paired the fastball with a curveball that showed good depth through the zone.

Adan Longoria  RHP - 2023 - Plant City, FL

Longoria has the ability to fill the zone with a three pitch mix as he topped out at 83 mph. he backed the fastball with a consistent curveball and changeup.

Drake Meeks  RHP - 2023 - Birmingham, AL

Meeks had a solid showing on the mound, touching 85 mph with true cut action to the fastball. The 6-foot-4/185 pounder has an impressive frame with present strength.

Dominick Rush  OF - 2023 - Las Vegas, NV

Rush was dominant in his three innings has he pounded the zone with a two pitch mix striking out eight in three innings. he topped out at 83 and shows plenty of athleticism in his delivery.

Chase Meyer  RHP - 2023 - Canton, GA

2024 Top Prospects

Michael Mullinax  OF - 2024 - Canton, GA

Mullinax is an impressive athlete whose tools prove why he's one of the country's top prospects; he runs a 6.5 sixty, covers outstanding ground in the outfield with arm strength clocked up to 90 mph and a combination of bat speed and power at the dish that stands out tremendously.

Lazaro Collera  RHP - 2024 - Miami, FL

Collera is one of the more impressive young righthanders although his age doesn't match his physical 6-3/190 frame. He has been up to 88 and lives around the mid-80s with his fastball, using his length to get down the mound and keeping good hitters off-balanced with an upper-60s breaking ball.

England Bryan  C - 2024 - Hillsboro, TN

Bryan showed well on the mound this weekend, touching 88 mph on the gun with a tight slider as his secondary. He has a high-waisted and projectable frame with impressive feel and mechanics for his age.

Austin Charles  OF - 2024 - Avondale, AZ
San Diego State

Charles was one of the most interesting prospects of the event, throwing with both hands off the mound. He showcased some advanced arm speed for his age, throwing 88 mph from the outfield and 85 mph on the bump from the right side. The 6-foot-4/185 pounder has immense upside on both the mound and in the box.

Cole Crafton  SS - 2024 - Manhattan, IL

Crafton made a significant jump since we saw him earlier this year and it impressed during the event; he moves through the ball well up the middle of the infield and has arm strength already clocked up to 90 mph across the diamond. Offensively, he has a long and loose swing with loads of present power behind it that netted him up to already mid-90s exit velocities.

Luke Oblen  RHP - 2024 - Chicago, IL

Oblen stands at just 5-11/175 but has great arm talent and was able to produce a fastball up to 88 mph in his outing on the mounding while showing similar arm strength in a solid round in the infield.

Jax Phillips  3B - 2024 - Milton, GA

Phillips is a high-level two-way prospect with physical projection and multiple tools. He was up to 86 mph on the mound and has tons of upside remaining in the box, including legit power potential and barrel accuracy.

Connor Shouse  RHP - 2024 - Ball Ground, GA

Shouse is a primary arm who was impressive on the mound working 83-86 with life to his fastball and feel for solid off-speed pitches. He also impressed in the infield and behind the dish while showing a solid hit tool using his long levers to create leverage at the contact point.

Camdon Frier  OF - 2024 - Wellborn, FL

Frier has a number of present raw tools and he put them on display during the event where he ran another solid 6.7 sixty time and was clocked up to 86 mph from the outfield where he patrols well. He has a quick and projectable swing that paired with present upper-80s exit velos can produce good results when impact is made.

Paul Green  OF - 2024 - Tyrone, GA

Green is a lean and athletic outfield prospect who runs sub-7.0 and was clocked into the mid-80s during his outfield workouts at the event. His swing is quick and has jump off the barrel when he squares it out front.

Mateo Estrada  1B - 2024 - Sugar Hill, GA

Estrada was one of the stronger players in attendance for his class and showed it both in arm strength where he was clocked up to 85 mph on the mound and with the bat, using a consistently well-timed swing to generate some jump off the barrel with good power projection.

Cooper McMullen  OF - 2024 - Bonaire, GA

McMullen has a nice 6-2/173 body with lots of physical projection and a loose and easy arm on the mound that produced a fastball up to 86 mph. He's a primary outfielder at present and has definite two-way potential with good speed and some right handed bat speed.

Drew Sofield  LHP - 2024 - Hiawassee, GA

Sofield looked solid on the mound with a projectable build and operation. The left-hander topped out at 84 mph with clean arm action and legit arm speed. He gets good extension out front and has a great chance to add velo in the future.

Luke (LT) Taylor  C - 2024 - Holladay, UT

Taylor is a well-built catcher with clean catch-and-throw skills from behind the dish and impressed with the consistency in which he impacted the ball on a line to the middle of the field.

Ethan Finch  C - 2024 - Woodbine, GA

Finch showed athleticism in all areas of his work as well as a quick arm. On the mound the right-hander ran his fastball up to 86 mph generating a lot of swings and misses.

Chayce Kieck  SS - 2024 - Jacksonville, FL

Kieck is an athletic young two-way prospect who has all the pieces to project on from a pitching standpoint with good arm speed and some polish to the delivery while also proving his athleticism on the dirt and with the bat as he finds the barrel at a good rate while generating great bat speed and impact out front.

Matt Heflin  RHP - 2024 - Knoxville, TN

Heflin is a young, but extremely projectable right-hander at an athletic 6-2/155 who has the peripheral traits to see great upside down the road. He's up to 83 with sink now and shows feel for a pair of secondaries that have the makings of successful long-term out pitches.

Landon Penfield  3B - 2024 - Blythewood, SC

Penfield had an impressive showing for a prospect his age as he took a clean round of infield with solid in-game abilities at the hot corner and showed out in the biggest way offensively with a short but strong left-handed swing that generated hard contact in virtually every at-bat of the event.

Juan Perez  SS - 2024 - Orlando, FL

Perez is a broad shouldered middle infielder who should fill out nicely and have solid future strength to go with his athleticism. A switch-hitter, Perez has very good bat speed from the right side especially.

Reggie Sharpe  SS - 2024 - Grosse Pointe Park, MI

Sharpe still has lots of growing to do from his current 5-6/130 but as a switch-hitting middle infielder with tons of athleticism and bounce to his game has lots of similarities with a young Xavier Edwards.

Gus Gandy  SS - 2024 - St Simons Island, GA

Gandy is an athletic young shortstop who runs a strong 6.7 sixty time and has the projectable tools to play the shortstop position for the long term. He works direct to contact with the bat and showed the ability to really turn the barrel and impact to the pull side.

Joe Dolenga  SS - 2024 - Lincolnshire, IL

Dolenga showcased his athleticism and two-way potential, topping out at 82 mph on the mound, and showing good rhythm and quick hands at the plate. The right-hander gets good lower half drive, and has a compact arm action that creates a downhill plane on his fastball.
