Connor Shouse is a 2024 SS/RHP, 1B, 2B, 3B, MIF, IF, OF, UT with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Ball Ground, GA who attends Pickens County. A primary infielder with a large, athletic frame. In the box he starts with a wider open stance and hands close to his body. Employed a pull approach in his BP round and was top spinning balls. Has noticeable bat speed with over the fence power potential. Defensively; Shouse's athleticism plays in the outfield and infield were he moves extremely well. Has the proper foot and glove mechanics to play at the next level. Demonstrated he has an elite arm tool by clocking 97MPH from the outfield and infield positions and accurate; an excellent combination. On the mound he begins off-set. Has fluid leg lift to just below the chest and gets into a loaded and balanced position over the rubber. Has stationary hands at the chest and works into very deep inline arm path. Loads arm nicely getting inside 90 creating excellent lay back, big internal rotation and torque out of hips. ¾ arm angle. Fastball has high spin and ride with occasional run, Showed a nice changeup in warmups and one in game at 83 with deadening spin. Slider profiles as true power wipeout with lateness and good spin, obvious talent here. Clocked a 6.8 60-yard dash.
