MLB Draft Board Update: Top 400

We are roughly 5 weeks into the NCAA baseball season and well underway with regards to high school baseball in most parts of the country and as such we have decided to update and expand the top MLB Draft prospects to 400 names. Midwest and Northeast high schoolers are still getting outside to start playing games but there have been developments all across the country on the high school side of things and there’s enough evidence of gains or jumps on the collegiate side as well.

There is a new No. 1 prospect on the board and it’s Florida State left-handed pitcher Jamie Arnold. He was previously No. 3 on the board in the December update and the stuff has only ticked up since then. In his most recent outing, Arnold was still touching 97 mph in his last inning of work and all three of the fastball, slider, and changeup have 70 grade (double-plus) upside.
