Aidyn Coffey is a 2022 SS/RHP, 3B with a 6-4 185 lb. frame from Albany, IN who attends Monroe Central Jr-Sr. Recorded a 7.03 second 60 yard dash time. Projectable build and make up with a lot of length in the frame. Primary shortstop, fields it out front with some snatch to the glove. Quick arm with carry across the infield, low effort actions and release. Can drop slot, has feel for the glove and soft hands. Secondary right-handed pitcher with a clean and fluid operation, simple mechanics. Effective strike thrower with some deception, hides the ball well. Makes it look easy, lot of upside here with velocity projection. Right-handed hitter with an even and slightly open stance and high hand and back elbow set. Small stride and simple load with no extra movements. Loose swing with good length, gets the head out. Back spin line drives with loft potential, great power projection as the frame fills out. Good student. Named to the 2020 National Underclass Showcase- Main Event Top Prospect List.
