Purple Vs. White
12/4/2016
Jeremy Levine (2018 RHP, Gilbert, AZ) threw three innings, striking out six and showing two solid pitches in an 80-83 mph fastball that he commanded well plus a breaking ball that he threw anywhere from 67 to 77 mph with sharp curveball break and good feel. He also had a good day at the plate with a line drive double into the left field corner.
Dylan Cuenca (2019 SS, Phoenix, AZ) turned on an inside fastball and laced a triple into left centerfield for a triple. He later added a single for a nice two-hit day.
Chase Valentine (2021 SS, Goodyear, AZ) is a 5-5/110 eighth grader but he's fun to watch play, especially defensively at shortstop where his actions are very clean and mature. He also picked up a single to centerfield and threw a scoreless inning on the mound.
Isaiah Cohens (2019 SS, Wichita, KS) almost made the defensive play of the showcase with an attempt on a ground ball up the middle that he showed great range on. He has the tools to stay in the middle infield at the next level and is an early Wichita State commit.
Deylan Pigford (2018 OF, Farmington, NM) had a good day on both sides of the ball and showed his tools. He hit the ball hard twice with a nice loose swing and was up to 83 mph on the mound with some good biting action on his curveball
Cade Brown (2018 1B, Cardiff, CA) had the hardest impact of the day, a line drive up the right centerfield gap that went for a double and left the barrel at 91 mph. He was also up to 82 on the mound with a nice 78 mph cutter.
Trevor Andrus (2018 OF, Amarillo, TX) was yet another player who looked good on both sides of the ball and has been impressing the PG scouts the past two days. He had a hard hit single his first time up and ran 4.45 on a ground ball the next at bat, then was up to 84 mph off the mound.
Royal vs Steel
12/4/2016
Joey Cammarata (2019 1B/RHP, Scottsdale, AZ) showed good arm strength on the mound and was up to 86 with his fastball that showed life at the plate. Velocity projects with some minor adjustments to his front side staying online a little longer. He also showed good barrel and power potential at the plate with a double to LCF.
Thomas "Ben" Schoneman IV (2019 MIF/RHP, Albuquerque, NM) showed a loose arm action and a good balanced delivery to pound the strike zone with his fastball. He topped at 81.
John Huelskamp (2019 C, Riverside, CA) showed a nice line drive swing and good contact on his double over the center fielders head.
Garrett Bigham (2020 C, Scottsdale, AZ) used the whole field collecting two hits on the day.
Ethan Doshi (2019 SS, Seattle, WA) showed a line drive swing plane and good barrel control on his double to LCF.
Max Power (2019 SS, San Diego, CA) squared up the ball in all three at bats ending his day on a sharp single to LF.
Colin Kirk (2020 OF, Alamogordo, NM) does a good job staying on baseball and going with pitch, he had a double down the opposite field line.
Navy vs Red Game Highlights
12/4/2016
Cooper Kunz (2018 C, Smithfield, UT) pitched at 80-83 MPH with a quick arm action. He threw a ton of strikes and showed feel for 3 pitches and threw them for strikes. He repeated his delivery well and missed barrels.
Tristin Lively (2018 RHP, Las Cruces, NM) threw very well at 86-90 MPH with his fastball with a loose clean arm action. His delivery worked well and he threw a lot of strikes. The ball comes out clean and he gets a lot of life on his fastball with some run to it. He also threw a slider at 78 with short break and a change up at 78 MPH with proper action on it.
Michael Bernhardt (2018 SS, Hurst, TX) swung the bat well collecting 2 hits in the game with an up the middle approach.
Damon Clinkenbeard (2018 OF, Richland, WA) hit a hard triple to the right center field gap. He showed some bat speed and barreled the ball up well.
Jesse Pierce (2019 3B, Las Vegas, NV) pitched at 80-84 MPH with his fastball from a loose whippy arm action. He got some good run and sink on his change up at 68 MPH with some deception.

Batting Practice Highlights
12/3/2016
Cole Denler (2019 LHP, Bossier, LA) showed a short and direct swing from the right side that allowed for
steady barrel throughout his round. He showed the ability to create
line drive contact while working the middle of the field as well as
both gaps.
Braden Winget (2018 C, Draper, UT) is an uncommitted 6-foot-3 catcher who showed well with the bat. He
stays short to the ball with his swing path and showed the ablity to
create some whip through the zone
as well as separation at the point of contact to create carry to the
pull side.
Jadrian Martinez (2019 LHP, Belen, NM) is listed as a primary lefthanded pitcher but he showed comfort in
swinging the bat too. His overall swing path is very short and direct to
the ball though he’s able
to creates nice bat speed and strength off the barrel thanks to the
looseness in his swing while utilizing an all fields approach.
Justice Panton (2018 SS, Phoenix, AZ) continued to impress after a strong showing during the defensive drills
at shortstop. Listed at 6-foot, 160-pounds Panton was able to impact the
baseball with the best
of them, creating leverage with nice jump off the barrel. He showed a
nice handle for the barrel too and projects with additional physical
strength.
Tristin Lively (2018 RHP, Las Cruces, NM) is another player listed as a primary pitcher who also swung the bat
well. Strongly built at 6-foot, 190-pounds Lively showed comfort in
creating extension in his swing
and working the ball all fields with a full and fluid swing path. He
projects well too as he continues to implement additional lower half
into his swing.
Nick Woodward (2018 SS, Sammamish, WA) had good strength in his right handed swing and uses his lower half well to help generate bat speed, with his best contact being to left centerfield.
Carson Bradley (2018 SS, Flower Mound, TX) showed a well timed swing from a straight stance with good looseness and extension through contact. He made consistent square pull line drive contact.
Mason Diaz (2019 C, Valparaiso, IN) loads his hands deep and take a full swing at the ball, with good extension and lift in his swing. He squared up the ball well and showed interesting power potential.
Tyler Lozano (2018 C, Stockton, CA) has a whippy bat head from a somewhat wrapped start and showed good present bat speed with present gap to gap power.
Thomas "Ben" Schoneman IV (2019 MIF, Albuquerque, NM) has a slender but projectable 5-11/148 build but generates present bat speed with some lift to left centerfield. He's going to keep getting better as he physically matures.
Nicholas Cornman (2019 SS, Las Vegas, NV) is listed at only 5-7/140 but has good compact strength and his left handed swing is quick and hard and he really uses his hips and lower half well to generate bat speed.
Max Power (2019 SS, San Diego, CA) plays at one of the best programs in the country in Rancho Bernardo HS and one could see the quality of coaching he gets in the quality of his swing. He's going to have to add more strength but he really barrels the ball up well.
Nate Swarts (2019 SS, Farmington, NM) has a nice athletic frame at 6-2/185 and a sound right handed swing that can impact the ball hard to the pull side.
Trevor Andrus (2018 OF, Amarillo, TX) gets a bit long with his right handed swing but he has very good present strength and hits the ball hard and consistently to the pull side.
Cade Brown (2018 1B, Cardiff, CA) looks the part of the power hitter with a 6-4/205 build and has a surprisingly short swing for an athlete his size. He showed some of the best raw power we've saw all day and that shortness in his swing will help him as he sees better and better pitching.
Steel vs.White Highlights
12/3/2016
Nate Swarts (2019 SS, Farmington, NM) swung the bat well with three solid pull contact but stood out more this game on the mound, where he worked three clean innings with four strikeouts. His fastball sat in the 82-84 mph range with good late life.
Will Tynes (2020 RHP, Bossier City, LA) has a big and strong 6-2 body for a freshman and a quick and clean arm action that produced a very life 77-80 mph fastball and flashed the ability to spin the ball well. He got lots of outs just with the late diving action on his fastball and will continue to improve his velocity as he gets older.
Deylan Pigford (2018 OF, Farmington, NM) is a switch-hitter who handles the bat well from the left side and picked up a pair of singles for the White team.
Max Power (2019 SS, San Diego, CA) had a strong BP just before the game begun and followed up with a couple of quality at-bats, including a hard single to centerfield. He also showed his range and athleticism in making a nice play up the middle on a ground ball.
Jason McKay Barney (2019 OF, Mesa, AZ) showed nice speed in running a 4.21 from home to first from the left side to beat out an infield hit.
Red vs Royal Game Highlights
12/3/2016
Kade Leveen (2019 1B, Cave Creek, AZ) had a double in the game to RF, he showed good bat speed at the plate with loud contact.
Carson Bradley (2018 SS, Flower Mound, TX) tripled on a line drive to RF in the game, he showed quick hands at the plate with a good approach.

Thomas "Ben" Schoneman IV (2019 MIF, Albuquerque, NM) smoked a double down the LF line and picked up a pair of RBI's in the game.
Matt Lelito (2019 C, St. John, IN) threw from a high 3/4 arm slot with a good FB at 80-82 touched 83 mph. He showed good tight spin on his CB.
Navy vs Purple Game Highlights
12/3/2016
Cole Denler (2019 LHP, Bossier, LA) pitched very well going 4 innings allowing 3 hits and striking out 8. He located his fastball well at 77-80 MPH and hid the ball well from hitters. He mostly threw fastballs but mixed in a curve ball and change up rarely. Denler located well and did a good job of missing barrels.
Sebastian Palos (2020 RHP, Whittier, CA) pitched well going 3 innings allowing no runs. He showed feel for 3 pitches and threw them for strikes. Palos got a lot of run on his fastball and missed barrels with his 68-71 MPH fastball. He showed some pitchability and is an interesting guy to follow as he grows and gets stronger.
Justice Panton (2018 SS, Phoenix, AZ) showed good tools in the workout and it transferred to the game as he hammered a deep fly out to the warning track in his first at bat. He showed good bat speed and swing path and showed good hitting tools that project.
Travis Morgan (2018 RHP, Petaluma, CA) pitched at 78-81 MPH with a projectable 6-3 / 180 build. He got good run and some sink on his fastball and also threw an 11/5 curveball with some depth at times. He collected 6 strikeouts in his 3 innings of work.
Chase Valentine (2021 SS, Goodyear, AZ) showed good skills both defensively and offensively in the game. He made a couple of good plays including a tough backhanded play in the hole at short to open the game and also collected two hits. He carries himself like a ball player well beyond his age.

Mason Dillow (2019 3B, Phoenix, AZ) pitched at 77-81 MPH with his fastball with some arm quickness. He showed some arm strength and occasional shape on his 11/5 curveball.
