2018 Top Prospects

Tristin Lively  - RHP - 2018 - Las Cruces, NM - USA
Lively, a New Mexico commit, came out pumping on the mound and didn't let up for his three innings of work, continuously missing bats along the way. His arm action is both short and quick as he ran his fastball up to 90 mph from a high three-quarters slot and showed a hard slider with late break at 78 mph as a knock out pitch.

Tyler Lozano  - C - 2018 - Stockton, CA - USA
Lozano has a verbal commitment to Southern California and especially stood out at this event for his defensive tools. He's quick and athletic behind the plate with a strong arm that posted a 1.88 pop time. The right handed hitter drives the ball hard to the gaps on offense.

Justice Panton  - SS - 2018 - Phoenix, AZ - USA
Panton is a young 6-foot, 170-pound middle infielder who showed off some of the best defensive actions of the showcase while also posting a 6.87 60-yard dash. He impressed with his righthanded swing during BP and live action as well with a short and direct path and interesting carry off of the barrel.

Braden Winget  - C - 2018 - Draper, UT - USA
Winget is an athletic and strongly built 6-foot-3, 185-pound catching prospect from the state of Utah who showed nice tools on both sides of ball. Defensively he displayed a very quick transfer from behind the plate and then showed off nice bat speed from the right side while creating torque with his hips and carry off the barrel.

Trevor Andrus  - OF - 2018 - Amarillo, TX - USA
Andrus has a nice collection of tools and a strong build. He ran a 6.74 in the sixty while throwing 88 mph from the outfield with very nice on line throws along with throwing 84 mph from the mound. Andrus also showed lots of right handed bat speed and impacted the ball hard.

Cade Brown  - 1B - 2018 - Cardiff, CA - USA
Brown stands out for his 6-5/215 build but he's also notable for how short his right handed swing is for a hitter that size. He has very good bat speed and tons of raw power. His most impressive swing was a double up the RCF gap that was 91 mph off the barrel.

Jake Heimlicher  - OF - 2018 - Parker, CO - USA
Heimlicher's tools have been on display at prior Perfect Game showcases and he once again brought them to the yard. With a very athletic and projectable 6-foot-4, 195-pounds the Colorado native showed nice bat speed from the right side while posting a 6.92 in the 60-yard and showed his arm strength from the outfield with an 85 mph throw.

Stryker Lewis  - OF - 2018 - Cherry Hills Village, CO - USA
Lewis has a projectable 6-foot-1, 176-pound frame but already put an array of tools on display. After posting a 7.00 the Colorado native showed a loose and whippy arm action from the outfield too. He uses his strength well offensively as well with an easy and full swing, generating nice carry off of the barrel.

Michael Bernhardt  - MIF - 2018 - Hurst, TX - USA
Bernhardt put together a quality showcase and showed off his tools on both sides of the ball. Currently uncommitted, the primary shortstop showed sound and athletic actions with soft hands up the middle as well as a short, line drive swing plane with nice balance throughout.

Cooper Kunz  - C - 2018 - Smithfield, UT - USA
Kunz showed nice tools throughout the showcase on both sides of the ball, in part to his strong right arm. On the mound he worked up to 83 mph with sound mechanics and a full arsenal while showing a similar strong arm from behind the dish with accurate throws. He also showed a simple swing path with nice carry off the barrel when squared up.

Deylan Pigford  - OF - 2018 - Farmington, NM - USA
Pigford looked good on the sides of the ball, with 7.13 speed and switch-hitting ability on offense and a quick arm that produced an 83 mph fastball off the mound. He's young physically and will keep getting better.

Jeremy Levine  - RHP - 2018 - Gilbert, AZ - USA
Levine is a very polished pitcher who works to spots well with an 80-83 mph fastball and has very good feel for his breaking ball and will throw it anywhere from 67-77 mph. He's also a solid athlete who can swing the bat.

2019 Top Prospects

Mason Diaz  - C - 2019 - Valparaiso, IN - USA
The 5-11/185 Diaz already has good strength for a sophomore and plenty of athleticism as well. He swings and impacts the ball hard on offense and showed very good lower half quickness and agility on defense while also popping a 1.89.

Isaiah Cohens  - SS - 2019 - Wichita, KS - USA
Cohens has outstanding actions on defense in the middle infield and really showed his range and athleticism on plays up the middle. He still needs more strength to swing the bat with authority but consistently squared up balls from both sides of the plate. He's a 6.91 runner, too.

Nate Swarts  - SS - 2019 - Farmington, NM - USA
Swarts is a nice 6-2/185 athlete who showed strong and projectable tools in all parts of the game. He projects as a third baseman in the future and will have plenty of bat for that position at the next level.

Jesse Pierce  - 3B - 2019 - Las Vegas, NV - USA
Pierce may not be listed as a primary righthanded pitcher but during his time on the mound he certainly appeared to have solid potential as one moving forward. With a very projectable, athletic 6-foot-2 frame Pierce bumped his fastball up to 84 mph with short life and consistently lived in the lower third of the zone.

Max Power  - SS - 2019 - San Diego, CA - USA
Power had one of the most advanced hitting approaches of any player at the showcase and is going to be a high average hitter, with his power developing as he fills out his slender, young build.

Joey Cammarata  - 1B - 2019 - Scottsdale, AZ - USA
Cammarata has potential as a right handed power hitting first baseman but might have a future on the mound as well, as he has plenty of arm strength and was up to 86 mph with his fastball.

Thomas "Ben" Schoneman Iv  - MIF - 2019 - Albuquerque, NM - USA
Schoneman is 5-11/148 but packs plenty of bat speed into his right handed swing and projects well offensively as he physically matures. He showed good athletic actions and footwork on defense and was also up to 81 mph on the mound.

Dylan Cuenca  - SS - 2019 - Phoenix, AZ - USA
Cuenca had a nice overall weekend and posted the second fastest 60-yard dash at 6.75 seconds. A young and projectable middle infielder, Cuenca showed quick feet and sound defensive actions while creating hard contact with an easy swing from the right side

2020 Top Prospects

Grant Anderson  - OF - 2020 - Del Mar, CA - USA
Anderson has both the frame and the tools to develop into a nice prospect over the next couple of years. Listed at a strong 6-foot-1, 195-pounds Anderson showed a short path with looseness to his hands with strength coming off and also showed nice arm strength and carry from the outfield.

Mitch Tiedemann  - 2B - 2020 - Chandler, AZ - USA
Tiedemann is a good young athlete who showed tools on both sides of the ball. He times the ball very well at the plate and works the middle of the field with hard line drives and also is a mature pitcher for his age with a fastball that topped out at 81 mph and good secondary pitches.

Jorge Figueroa  - 2B - 2020 - Southlake, TX - USA
Figueroa is pretty physically mature for a freshman and it shows in his combination of running speed and bat speed. He ran a 6.82 and showed strength and gap power in his right handed swing.

2021 Top Prospects

Chase Valentine  - SS - 2021 - Phoenix, AZ - USA
The lone 2021 of the showcase, Valentine and his skill set had no problem blending in with the older players throughout the weekend. With obvious projection Valentine showed smooth actions up the middle as well as a strong handle for the barrel, collecting two multi-hit games though his feel for the overall game was just as impressive.
