Conner Ebeling is a 2018 SS/RHP with a 6-2 175 lb. frame from Draper, UT who attends Corner Canyon HS. Large, athletic frame with square shoulders and a lean, projectable build with room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 7.18 60-yard dash. Primary middle infielder, takes short and quick steps moving towards the ball, shows lateral range moving towards the hole and balance when charging in, fields the ball out front, some effort at release but quick and clean transfer, sound release across. Showed well from outfield as well, good energy to the ball and works through it well with lower half, quick arm with similar transfer, shows carry and strength on throws and gets on top of the ball nicely. Righthanded hitter, begins with a square stance in the box, wide base and high hand set and back elbow. Upper body dominant swing, stays short to the ball with swing path, ball comes off well when squared. Shows a handle for the barrel, line drive swing plane with comfort working to the middle to pull side parts of the field. Excellent student.
