Jaxon Matthews (2026 OF, Davidson, NC) tallied a couple knocks on the day but it was the first one that jumped out as he started the morning with a rocket of a hit through the infield off a tough 3-2 fastball down in the zone. He's got as much explosiveness and juice as anyone in the class and it shows up in big ways at times.
Marcus Cantu (2026 SS, Friendswood, TX) has one of the better approaches here and took very mature at-bats today; he's got a super functional swing and can use the whole field while the athleticism and feel on the dirt makes him a high-level defender with really good offensive traits.
Easton Autrey (2026 3B, Corsicana, TX) is a big physical left-handed bat with easy bat speed and his ability to create launch in game is a big checkmark. He's got the strength to put the ball out of the yard and if he gets to it consistently, he's one of the better bats in this class.
Kortland Stovall (2026 LHP, Mt Pleasant, TX) was pretty efficient for his 3 innings of work and there's alot to project on as he gets strong. He's a low-80s now and can sink it down in the zone while the slider has good tunnel and the bite to miss bats, especially as the whole profile ticks up.
Diego Becerra (2026 LHP, Alpharetta, GA) struggled with the zone some but the stuff is super interesting and there's real upside here. He's an athletic left-hander who was 85-88 early on a good fastball with a real hammer off it that he spins in the 26-2700 range. It's easy to see more velocity here and the stuff already has big flashes.
Charles Messina (2026 C, Cortez, FL) showed that he can handle velo well from a compact stroke as he jumped on 85 and hit a long 2B to the pull gap. He's got good strength and shows it often.
Jeffrey Claycomb (2026 C, Plano, TX) seems to hit balls hard in big events and was no different today as he had one of the harder hit balls of the day with an 88 EV/330 FT double to the pull side that he produced without much effort. He also looked great behind the dish.
Lawson Behan (2026 SS, Houston, TX) has a ton of traits to build on and the 90 EV line drive he had today is just scratching the surface of what the impact will be as he really fills out; he's looked good all-around.
Caleb Turner (2026 RHP, Aledo, TX) has some deception to how he works and the stuff already jumps out some. He's up to 87 with legit sinking life to the fastball and shows feel for a low-70s CB. It's a good amount of strikes and the parts work to create a tougher look to hitters already.
Judson Dowell (2026 OF, Houston, TX) had one of the bigger swings of the day in terms of producing in a big spot as he turned a double inside the line to bring in 3 runs with the game tied. He's got big tools and physicality that plays now while being really young for the class too.
Milo Burton (2026 RHP, Overland Park, KS) is a guy that showed a good handful of projection traits here today. He was up to 88 and with his size, he'll project into a good bit more. The curveball is a vertical breaking pitch with solid depth and he's able to miss bats burying it with his best ones.
Giovanni Guariglia Jr (2026 RHP, Las Vegas, NV) turned in one of the better outings of the day as he struck out 8 in just 3 innings of work. It's a good fastball in the 87-90 range and he held for the entirety, powering it to the bottom of the zone well, while the breaking ball he can really add/subtract on in the 25-2700+ spin range, overall showing he'll miss a ton of bats with it long-term and already can now.
Ethan Bass (2026 SS, Northbrook, IL) was on the barrel a good bit today and showed that higher level bat speed he has on a 91 EV single into CF before another strong barrel later on. He's got all the traits of a upper-tier prospect in this class and he'll continue to impress as the strength comes along.
Hunter Watson (2026 C, Tuttle, OK) had the loudest stuff of the day on the mound over the course of a pair of innings. It's an explosive arm, sitting steadily in the 89-92 range from a low release height while producing 15-16" of IVB and spinning it near the 2500s. He's got a real hammer of a breaking ball he'll show at times, and the changeup stands out a ton as well, giving him a full mix of 3 and some of the more difficult stuff to square of any arms in the '26s.
Dylan Blomker (2026 RHP, Albuquerque, NM) is a big and fairly physical arm who jumped out right away, living in the 87-89 range early on with real heavy sink to it, and his feel for a shorter breaking ball allowed him to stay off barrels. He projects to a power arm profile and he'll be one to follow long-term.
Kayden Mansell (2026 RHP, Mansfield, TX) went 3 no-hit innings on the mound and has the stuff and pitchability to see steady success. He was up to 84, but the feel to spin is what stood out as he can both land and bury his breaking ball with intent, missing bats a bunch later in the outing.
Wes Peterson (2026 RHP, Menlo Park, CA) is a big projectable right-hander whose traits make him a must-follow given what the upside can be. He was 86-89 for a pair of innings, sinking it really hard under the hands of RHH. It's a true sinker-slider profile given he stays in the same window release with the breaking ball and gets some sweep out of a deeper tunnel. All the traits point to serious upside.
Ashten Ballew (2026 SS, Katy, TX) threw a couple innings to close out the day and showed the best spin numbers of the entire day, throwing hammers often. He's up to 84 and it comes out easy given how athletic he is, but the breaking ball stole the show at 2700+ RPMs consistently, peaking at 2795 and missing bats with ease because of it.
