Wes Peterson is a 2026 RHP/OF with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from Menlo Park, CA who attends Menlo-Atherton. Big and strong athletic build with plenty of physical projection left, good strength in his hips and lower half. High leg raise delivery, gets big lower half turn, lands a bit closed out front, 3/4's to mid 3/4's arm slot, low effort mechanics that he repeats well. Fastball worked consistently in the upper 80's and topped out at 89 mph, gets outstanding run and sink to his fastball, blew up some hitters with his fastball life, extreme low spin rate fastball characteristics. Worked primarily with his fastball, slider was short and effective when thrown but has room to develop. Fastball could be something special if he continues to add velocity. Has athletic actions in the outfield defensively and makes very accurate on line throws. Right handed hitter, has strength in his swing from a high hand load and a fluid and extended swing, creates good carry and jump off the barrel. Good student. Named to the Class of 2026 All-American Games Top Prospect List.
