2025 PG National Showcase
Wes Peterson is a 2026 RHP/OF with a 6-3 200 lb. frame from Menlo Park, CA who attends Menlo-Atherton. Long and strong athletic build. Works from a standard side step/leg raise delivery with a long stride down the mound, controlled and slow paced mechanics, arm is loose and whippy from an extended 3/4's arm slot, repeats his delivery well. Fastball sat in the low 90's with carry up and lots of heavy sink down, aggressive with his fastball early in counts and got some swing/miss. Curveball was a good pitch with 11/5 shape and good depth, also developing a change up. Threw strikes with all his pitches and had a nice outing. Good student with a verbal commitment to Virginia.
