Gavin Hottle is a 2026 SS/3B with a 6-3 200 lb. frame from Irvine, CA who attends Orange Lutheran. Big and strong athletic build with room to get stronger. 6.79 runner in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense, moves very well for his size with smooth actions and lots of body control, very soft and sure hands, big arm strength from a quick and compact arm slot, played with energy and intent, no athletic/tool reason he can't stay at shortstop. Right handed hitter, starts from a narrow start with an inward toe tap and late hand load, lots of timing ques to follow, has raw bat speed and loud impact when he's timed up and on-plane. Good student.
