Jose Doubront is a 2027 C/RHP/3B with a 6-1 210 lb. frame from Greenville, SC who attends P27 Academy. Big and strong build, especially in the lower half.. Right handed hitter, hits from an open stance with a hanging knee lift timer, gets extended well, has strength at contact and big power potential, long history of hitting at PG events. 7.21 runner in the sixty. Plays both third base and catcher on defense, arm plays much better behind the plate but throws from a lower arm slot. Projects best at first base defensively and bat is his carrying tool. Excellent student with a commitment to Indiana.
