1-Black vs 3-Gray Game Highlights

7/25/2022

Julian Suarez (2027 C, Sinton, TX) had a good game all around and it's the swing and overall approach that allowed it. He had 2 hits and it's a compact swing with a very accurate barrel which has him on it consistently.

Joe Davis (2027 OF, Bahamas, NW) brings a whole lot of upside to his game and he doubled in this look to show that he can turn the barrel over with real intent and some impact already while projecting really well to when he adds big strength to the frame.

Carter Hadnot (2027 SS, Rialto, CA) is a true switch-hitter with real feel for the barrel on both sides of the plate and he had 2 hits in this look. He's fun to watch up the middle on the dirt and has a chance to be one of better pure hitters in the country at this age so far.

Braelyn Harrison (2026 SS, Bassfield, MS) had a couple hits in this game look and it was the double pull side that makes you remember him. It's a loose right-handed swing and the way he stays connected while being far from peak physically makes you think there's power coming.

Lash Henderson (2027 OF, Frisco, TX) is a really impressive athlete now with all kinds of strength and tools to his game and he showed it in the box as he stayed on a two strike breaking ball diving out of the zone and lined it into the gap hard the other way for a triple. He'll also run it into the mid-80s on the mound.

Henry Abt (2026 1B, Brandon, MS) capped off his event in a really big way as had 2 hits with the last one being lifted over the wall in right field for one of only a few bombs in the event. It's a loose yet direct left-handed swing and the hands have some strength to them while being able to hit from all parts of the zone.

7-Orange vs 8-Purple Game Highlights

7/24/2022

Dylan Keliiholokai (2027 RHP, Anaheim, CA) went 3 innings and punched out 6 in his time on the mound and it's good stuff paired with production. He'll work in the upper-70s with ease while showing a ton of feel to spin the breaking ball while projecting well.

Carson (Bear) Calvo (2027 SS, Fullerton, CA) started off the game with a bang as he roped a triple over the head of the centerfielder to get the game action going. He's well-rounded and the swing is a very good one with real bat speed and already showing strength off the barrel.

Will Brick (2027 C, Memphis, TN) took a solid round of batting practice and turned it over into game action as he pulled a double down the line in one of his at-bats. It's some strength paired with real feel to hit, all while being a talented backstop.

Malachi Washington (2026 OF, Stone Mountain, GA) is one of the more impressive athletes at the event and showed it on both sides of the ball here. He worked a good at-bat and fought off a two-strike breaking ball on his hands for a hit through the middle while also running it up to 82 on the mound with good feel for a tight slider.

Ethan Armbruster (2027 RHP, Austin, TX) has real arm talent on the mound but he can swing it a good bit too as he was able to pull the hands in tight and go to the gap the other way with a very well-struck line drive double.

Tanner Uderitz (2027 SS, Delray Beach, FL) had a couple hits in this game, both being liners into the outfield. He's a tall and projectable hitter with physicality already and it allows him to control the barrel well in live looks.

Harry Chubb Jones Jr. (2027 SS, Powder Springs, GA) had a double on the line but it was on the mound where he really impressed as he worked up to 83 mph but he has a sinker and a cutter with true feel for both. He cuts it up over 2400 RPMs with very tight bite around the same velo while also being able to spin a good breaking ball.

Blake Secrest (2027 1B, Camp Hill, PA) had a great day on the mound going 3 innings and giving up 0 while displaying a good mix of FB and CB. FB had plus arm side run giving righties a hard time finding barrels getting up to 83 mph. Didn’t have to use much offspeed in outing but displayed a 2-7 breaker that had some decent bite to it.

Jorvorskie Lane (2026 OF, Fort Worth, TX) (2026, RHP/UT, Fort Worth, TX) had quite the day at the plate and on the mound. Showed great feel for both FB and CB to the glove side as he commanded that side of the plate consistently sitting 80-83 T 84mph. Also, racking up 2 hits which included a triple to the Rf wall and a hard-hit line drive for a single.

Judson Harris (2027 RHP, Hoover, AL) hit a line drive single to RF showing ability to go the other way and simplify his swing. Had multiple good AB’s throughout the past two days and I see him continuing to do so.
