Ran the fastball up to 92 mph (2017 RPM) and sat 88-92 for multiple innings with excellent life in the zone. Showed two distinct breaking balls, a slider up to 77 mph (2031 RPM) with horizontal shape and a curveball, up to 73 mph (2119 RPM) with more depth. Also showed a changeup in the mid-70s (1604 RPM) with heavy fade to left-handed hitters. Secondary third baseman, corner actions with fundamental footwork, breaks down and fields with two hands, big arm strength across, recorded throws up to 91 mph. Right-handed hitter, medium base with a high back elbow, has some rhythm to the swing and showed big strength when in rhythm. Flashed pull-side impact. 7.41 runner in the sixty. Good student. Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
