2023 Sophomore National Showcase (2026 Grads)
Malachi Washington is a 2026 OF/RHP/3B with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Stone Mountain, GA who attends Parkview. Very athletic build with good present strength. 6.63 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, very athletic actions through the ball, has a quick transition and release on his throws, plenty of arm strength and makes accurate throws, very strong fundamentals for his age defensively. Right handed hitter, hits from a slightly open stance with a toe turn load into his stride, has fast hands and creates bat speed and barrel whip, can turn the barrel over, can get a bit locked up in his hips and lower half at times, very projectable as a hitter. High level athlete with baseball skills. Good student.
