BCS Qualifier Scout Notes

Aemed Nasser (2026, Orlando, Fla.) showed tremendous promise on both sides of the ball this weekend. On the mound, he topped 87 mph from the left side with excellent secondaries to complement. The uncommitted athlete has a lean, 6-foot-3 build with a whippy arm action. He faced the minimum in 2 scoreless innings with no hits nor walks allowed and 3 strikeouts. At the plate, he demonstrated consistent bat-to-ball skills, as well as speed on the base paths. 

Alex Manetta (2028, Alva, Fla.) earned MVP honors for the 15u division thanks to a consistent hit tool. Manetta has added height recently and has a lanky frame with room for some intriguing potential. He controlled the barrel well and routinely drove the ball with authority, collecting 6 singles and 2 doubles.
