14u East BP Highlights

1/26/2019

Dylan Cupp (2023 SS, Cedartown, GA) did a nice job of handling the barrel in his round of BP, shooting hard line drive contact to the middle and opposite field with authority with nice present bat speed and jump off the barrel.

Making the trip from South Dakota, Matthew Ossenfort (2023 LHP, Sioux Falls, SD)t incorporates his physical strength well into his lefthanded swing, impacting the ball at the point of contact with jump off the barrel and nice back spin to his pull side.

Ryan Jaros (2023 1B, Cranford, NJ) is a strong 6-foot-1, 190-pounds and showed flashes of his strength throughout his round, showing hard jump off the barrel which he’ll only continue to tap into with mechanical adjustments moving forward.

A righthanded stick out of California, Brad Burnes (2023 RHP, Belvedere, CA) put together a nice round despite being listed as a primary pitcher. His swing is a short one, allowing him to repeat his linear stroke while impacting the ball when squared with carry to the middle and pull side parts.

Kaedon Diego Mas (2022 3B, Rancho Cucamonga, CA) employed a contact oriented swing in the box with which he was able to execute, stays short and linear through the ball with consistent barreled contact and projects with additional lower half shift.

Brennan Morris (2022 SS, Fleming Island, FL) shows quickness to his hands from the right side of the plate and projects with physical strength, staying shorter to the ball with his swing path while spraying line drive contact around the field.

Dakota Thomas (2023 RHP, Lincoln, NE) is a strongly built 6-foot, 170-pound righthanded pitcher from Nebraska who showed flashes of his strength in the box, creating leverage out front with an easy swing and carry to his pull side when on time and squared.
