Javier Jordan is a 2023 OF with a 5-8 135 lb. frame from Orlando, FL who attends Timber Creek. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and a lean, projectable build with room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 7.47 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, fields the ball out front, takes short steps moving towards the ball, can continue to incorporate additional lower half into release, quick transfer out of glove into a full arm action, works to a higher slot at release, accurate to the plate, arm strength will continue to develop. Righthanded hitter, begins with a high hand set and back elbow at the plate, weight starts on backside; utilizes a leg lift trigger for timing. Upper body dominant swing with limited shift, hands start close to body and stays linear through the zone. Contact oriented approach and projects with additional lower half, short to and through the ball with swing, comfort working to his pull side. Very good student.
