West (Orange) vs. California (Black) Game Highlights

8/7/2026

James Amante (2029 LHP, Orange, CA) showed one of the best secondaries of the event, a nasty changeup that racked up 5 whiffs alone. He was also up to 87 and really moves well down the mound. 

Rocco Zirelli (2028 RHP, San Carlos, CA) is a physical right-hander who lived in the 83-86 T87 mph range. It's a firm slider in the upper-70s that's tunneled well off the heater and got whiffs.

Eddie Elenes (2029 3B, Apple Valley, CA) had two knocks on the day including an 88EV through the right side. Elenes is hitterish in the box with strength in the wrist. 

Zain Valdivia (2028 3B, La Quinta, CA) had some serious stuff on the mound, working in the upper-80s. There's obvious two way talent here. 

JJ Lott (2029 LHP, Scottsdale, AZ) had two knocks in the game at 88EV and 89EV respectively. Lott is a gamer who can do everything on the diamond. 

Ryan Shabazian (2028 SS, Glendale, CA) slashed an 89EV double down the opposite field line. Shabazian is athletic and hitterish in the box. 

Scott Fritz (2028 1B, Hawthorne, CA) looked really sharp on the mound running the fastball up to 87 mph and showing a good changeup. The arm really works and he is going to throw hard. 

Anthony Sanchez (2028 3B, Irvine, CA) stayed hot this week with another double. The power has been super intriguing as he just missed a homer in yesterday's games. 

Owen Martinson-Fuller (2028 C, Poway, CA) worked very quickly on the mound, touching 89 mph. There's potential for big stuff down the line here. 

Liam Friedman (2028 OF, Ladera Ranch, CA) worked in the upper-80s with a good sweeping breaking ball. He's big, physical, and it comes out easy. 

Chase Fillman (2028 OF, Goodyear, AZ) was throwing jet fuel, pumping 95 mph by hitters. It was all fastballs but the arm talent is obvious. 

National (Maroon) vs. Central (Columbia Blue) Game Highlights

Jaxon Knapp (2028 SS, Argyle, TX) has a quick arm and is a terrific athlete. He worked 86-88 mph on the mound and has real two way upside. 

Billy Cole III (2028 3B, Pinehurst, TX) showed one of the best breaking balls of the event, a 2700+ rpm hammer that he landed at will. He was also up to 89 mph and has good arm talent. 

Alexander Reyes (2029 3B, Upper Saddle River, NJ) served an opposite field single with a simple stroke. It's an easy, repeatable swing. 

Hudson Hempel (2028 1B, Covina, CA) hammered a double into the opposite field gap. Hempel is super strong and can impact the baseball with frequency. 

Xaiden Castillo (2028 RHP, Winchester, CA) sent a double over the head of a right fielder the other way. Castillo has strong two way skill. 

Sammy Dornier (2028 3B, The Woodlands, TX) worked up to 87 mph and showed intriguing stuff. The spin capacity is very good and he gets spin north of 2500+. 

Cole Pettijohn (2028 SS, Elkhorn, WI) worked a very quick inning and filled up the strike zone. It's mid-80s with life and can land the breaking ball.

East (Green) vs. Central (Columbia Blue) Game Highlights

Adriel Cartagena (2028 C, Caguas, PR) laced a double into the opposite field gap in his first at-bat. This is his third hit on the weekend thus far and has been all over the barrel. 

Anthony Huaranga (2028 3B, Nutley, NJ) had a hard single in his first at-bat and also was 90-92 on the mound. The breaking ball is a real swing and miss offering and Huaranga is loaded with tools. 

Bryce Phillips (2028 RHP, Corpus Christi, TX) has real arm speed and a lot of traits to like. The fastball was up to 89 mph and there's real feel for a biting slider, including tripling up on it at one point for a K. 

Cooper Mitchamore (2028 C, Cypress, TX) hammered a single that came off with an 89EV. He's a big, physical right-handed hitter who is able to impact the ball to all fields. 

Kasen Langerhans (2028 SS, Round Rock, TX) burned the right fielder for a double that left the bat at 91 EV. The swing is really loose and smooth with feel to hit. 

Wright Broadhead (2028 OF, Winchester, VA) lived in the upper-80s with the fastball. He's a big physical two way prospect with a low 70s breaker as well. 

Xaiden Castillo (2028 RHP, Winchester, CA) worked the fastball up to 89 mph with a really good slider too. There's real teeth and swing and miss qualities to the slider. 

Wyatt Jones (2028 OF, Knoxville, TN) pulled a hard single through the right side. He's been raking this week and is coming off a fantastic summer. 

Bryce Haydock (2029 OF, League City, TX) crushed a triple (89EV) to the gap on a really nice swing. The ball carries and there's plenty of bat-to-ball skills to like. 

Hudson Hempel (2028 1B, Covina, CA) pulled a double to the pull side that left the bat at 87 EV. He's a physical kid with feel to get the barrel out. 

Billy Cole III (2028 3B, Pinehurst, TX) shortened up and lined a double to the opposite field gap. He's strong at the point of contact and can create space. 

Enzo Busalacchi (2028 RHP, San Diego, CA) showed a full mix and threw plenty of strikes. He was up to 84 mph with shape to the breaker and flashed a really good changeup for a strikeout. 

National (Maroon) vs. California (Black) Game Highlights

Dereck Volpe (2028 RHP, Murrieta, CA) sat 89-91 and showed a full three pitch mix. The fastball got good carry at the top of the zone and the shapes on the breaking ball and changeup were both very good. 

Joey Castle (2028 RHP, Baxter, MN) has a long whippy arm stroke and the fastball worked in the 86-89 mph range. The breaker has good bite and it's a potent two pitch mix. 

Zain Valdivia (2028 3B, La Quinta, CA) had two knocks, both coming off the bat well struck. He's a physical right-handed hitter with some impact behind  it. 

Avery Pleeter (2028 RHP, Sherman Oaks, CA) has a funky operation from a super low slot with lots of sinking action. He's a sinker/slider pitcher with good sweeping action on the breaker. 

Patton Pomeroy (2029 RHP, Lucas, TX) worked up to 88 mph with a real verty fastball. The breaking ball has good bite and depth to it and the two pitch mix missed bats. 

Barrett Grieve (2029 SS, La Jolla, CA) went a perfect 3-3 on the game and has a really intriguing hit tool. It's loose wrists with burgeoning impact and the swing really works. 

Preston Adams (2029 RHP, Bakersfield, CA) pounded the strike zone with a mid-80s heater and has a full mix. There's a ton of polish and pitchability with a great delivery. 

Isaac Bagley (2028 RHP, Heath, TX) worked up to 87 mph and showed a slurvy breaking ball. He's a physical right-hander who has a big velocity ceiling.

Sebastian Flores (2029 OF, Chula Vista, CA) pulled a double fair down the first base line. Flores gets on top of the ball well and has an all fields approach. 

Joel Vargas (2028 OF, San Diego, CA) rocketed a triple into the pull side gap. The ball came off at 90+ and the hit/power combo is real. 

Leighton Canarelli (2028 RHP, Las Vegas, NV) is an athletic right-hander who worked in the mid-80s. The short slider is a nice pitch and the athleticism shines on the mound. 

Ian Kuenzi (2028 RHP, Lancaster, CA) is a super projectable right-hander who worked in the mid to upper 80s. The slot gets nice life on the fastball and he can throw the breaker for strikes. 

Keoni Wun (2028 OF, Costa Mesa, CA) had two hits and showed the ability to move the bat head around. The contact skills are solid. 

Anthony Sanchez (2028 3B, Irvine, CA) lofted a double in this look. The path is geared for lift and there's good carry off the bat. 

East (Green) vs. National (Maroon) Game Highlights

Kane Bartley (2028 RHP, El Cajon, CA) showed an effective three pitch mix with really good secondaries. He can backdoor the breaker at will and has a nice fading changeup too. 

Landon Smith (2028 RHP, Lakewood, CA) worked the fastball up to 91 mph with real arm speed and projection. The breaking ball was effective and the changeup looks like an out pitch. 

Maddox Rodriguez (2028 RHP, Pelham, NY) is an athletic right-hander who is a fluid mover and works down the mound well. The slider has teeth to it and it's a full mix. 

Jack Bouts (2029 OF, Winterhaven, CA) lived in the mid-80s and showed good angle from the left side. Strikes were plenty and there was feel for a horizontal breaking ball. 

Wyatt Jones (2028 OF, Knoxville, TN) collected a knock on a line drive single. He's been all over the barrel this week. 

Cole Pettijohn (2028 SS, Elkhorn, WI) pulled a double hard into the pull side gap. The ball left the bat at 92 mph and there's lots of strength in the swing.

West (Orange) vs. Central (Columbia Blue) Game Highlights

Maddox Pyle (2028 RHP, De Soto, KS) has a quick arm with a strong two pitch mix. The fastball reached 87 mph and there's good feel for an upper 70s slider. 

Andrés Armenta (2028 OF, Queen Creek, AZ) collected two doubles including a leadoff hustle double. The second one hopped the opposite field wall and there's big bat speed. 

Ronin McCrea (2029 SS, San Diego, CA) laced a single to the opposite field. There was good direction with the bat and he can use the whole field with intent. 

Cade Young (2029 RHP, Georgetown, TX) showed a mid-80s heater with a full three pitch mix. The low-70s curveball and upper-70s changeup complemented the mix well. 

Aiden Lefave (2028 LHP, Anacortes, WA) pounded the strike zone with the upper-80s fastball and showed a good mix. There's plenty of bat miss with healthy shape/bite to the breaking ball.

JJ Lott (2029 LHP, Scottsdale, AZ) pitches with swagger and used mostly the fastball-breaking ball mix. There's good angle with bite to the offspeed and he's a touted two way player. 

Evan Hong (2029 SS, San Diego, CA) took a nice two strike swing to bring home a run on a single. There's good bat to ball with feel for the barrel. 

Central (Columbia Blue) vs. West (Orange) Game Highlights

8/6/2026

James Bacher (2028 C, Vienna, VA) pulled the hands in for a 93EV single to the pull side. Bacher is able to hold angles really well and hit balls with impact. 

Parker Bass (2028 RHP, Olathe, KS) was up to 89 mph and showed good body control for a 6-7 arm. The breaking ball was very good and got whiffs. 

Stephen Verdolini (2028 RHP, Doylestown, PA) got a ton of swing-and-miss, missing bats with all three pitches. He was up to 88 mph and a sinking changeup was his best secondary. 

Wyatt Jones (2028 OF, Knoxville, TN) laced one at 93EV to the opposite field. The impact potential here is very high. 

Kylen Gravely (2028 OF, Rancho Santa Margarita, CA) lofted a double to the opposite field gap at an 89EV. It's a loose lofted swing path with the ability to get the ball into the air. 

Adriel Cartagena (2028 C, Caguas, PR) hit a single up the middle that came off the bat at 100 EV. Two hits in two games for Cartagena who has impressive bat speed. 

Wright Broadhead (2028 OF, Winchester, VA) pulled the hands in for a hard single that came off the bat at 93 mph. There's so much strength at the point of contact. 

Henry Murphy (2028 RHP, Park Ridge, IL) ran the fastball up to 89 mph from a low launch. He gets good extension down the mound and showed two breaking balls. 

Jacob Benavides (2029 RHP, San Diego, CA) pounded the strike zone in the low-80s to the tune of 72% strikes. He killed spin on the changeup too and has a low-70s breaking ball. 

West (Orange) vs. East (Green) Game Highlights

8/6/2026

Jaxxon Tweedt (2028 OF, Chico, CA) crushed a triple to the opposite field to leadoff the game. It's really impressive bat speed and he takes aggressive hacks with limited whiff.

Chase Fillman (2028 OF, Goodyear, AZ) collected a knock to the opposite field in his first at bat. The BP yesterday was loud and he showed off the hittability getting to that low pitch. 

Wyatt Jones (2028 OF, Knoxville, TN) led the game off with a ground ball single up the middle. Jones is a real athlete with lots of upside from the left side of the plate. 

Romeo Briones (2028 1B, San Diego, CA) had two well struck balls in this one, a 93EV flyout to center and later a line drive single up the middle. There's real feel to hit with impact behind it. 

Adriel Cartagena (2028 C, Caguas, PR) sent a single to the opposite field in his first at bat. He didn't try to do too much and the catch-and-throw skills are impressive. 

Diego A. Calderon Cruz (2028 SS, Vega Baja, PR) plated a run with a 95EV double in the first inning. There's really solid bat speed and he also made a diving play up the middle later in the game.

Josef Pastrana (2028 RHP, Yuma, AZ) is a projectable right-hander who ran the fastball up to 88 mph. It's a firm slider with a high-spin heater and lots of room to fill. 

Carson Steingall (2028 RHP, Nazareth, PA) has a big arm, running the fastball up to 92 mph. He showed two breaking balls and has the potential for power stuff down the line. 

Carter Grant (2028 LHP, Alameda, CA) has a verty fastball that grabbed 90 mph. It's a full pitch mix with good strikes and upside. 

Max Trojanowski (2028 3B, Chapel Hill, NC) flared a single behind the second baseman's head for a knock. There's good bat to ball here. 

Kevin Gallagher (2028 RHP, Nutley, NJ) worked up to 86 mph and showed a three pitch mix. There's good sweeping action on the breaking ball that looks like it can be an out pitch. 

 

Batting Practice Highlights

8/5/2026

Anthony Huaranga (2028 3B, Nutley, NJ) Left-handed hitter on the barrel the throughout the round showcasing pull side strength. He launched a couple of home runs and it's significant juice and bat speed from the left side. 

Diego A. Calderon Cruz (2028 SS, Vega Baja, PR) has really impressive bat speed and is able to turn the barrel effectively to the pull side. There's good feel for the barrel and the power projects. 

Jack Bouts (2029 OF, Winterhaven, CA) hit one on the top of the scoreboard and has real juice from the left side. There's loft throughout the uphill path that is geared for power. 

Adriel Cartagena (2028 C, Caguas, PR) showed significant bat speed and barrel control with line drive tendencies. He flashed some big power too. 

Wyatt Jones (2028 OF, Knoxville, TN) is a really athletic swinger from the left side with bat speed and impact. The impact really plays to both sides of the field and the upside is massive. 

James Bacher (2028 C, Vienna, VA) has a really impressive swing from the right side and is able to barrel lots of balls. He creates space over the inside and the hit and power combo stands out.

Nicholas Hricenak (2029 C, Dickson City, PA) had a quick and direct stroke and hammered line drives to both gaps during batting practice. 

Hunter Hedgecoe (2028 C, Fayetteville, NC) has a powerful build with a very good point of contact. 

Josue Trinidad (2029 SS, Caguas, PR) has a loose swing and is geared to both hit, and hit for power, The ball makes a different sound off the bat. 

Wright Broadhead (2028 Winchester, VA) physical and lots of intent during his rounds and the ball explodes hard to the pull side. 

Romeo Briones (2028 San Diego, CA) has a quick left handed swng with a heavy barrel that showed lift to the pull side with consistency. 

Andres Armenta (2028 Queen Creek, AZ) has very fast hands and accelerates the barrel very well through the zone and punished the baseball. 

Ryan Shabazian (2028 Glendale, CA) turns the barrel well and gets extended and lifted balls to the pull side with authority.

Sebastian Barba (2028 Gardena, CA) really whippy swing and uses the base well. The barrel is loose through the zone and he can hit to all fields. 

John Dilandri (2028 Henderson, NV) has a very athletic frame and the hand speed stood out 

Christian Espinoza (2028 Phoenix, AZ) looks like a power hitting middle of the order bat with a ton of intent and pull side power.

iker Corona (2028 San Diego, CA) has a tight swing and is very short to hte ball allowing the accuracy of the bat to stand out. 

Mateo Gonzalez (2028 Bonita, CA) has a smooth left-handed swing and took a mature round hitting balls hard to the middle. 

Landon King (2028 San Mateo, CA) has a very fast bat and was on the barrel on almost overy swing. The ball comes off hard and the line drive have carry.

JJ Lott (2029 Scottsdale, AZ) unloaded that barrel with bad intentions lifting balls with true spin to the pull side.

Jaxxon Tweedt (2028 Chico, CA) has a very quick bat and super athletic mover. He hit a missile liner home run over the right field wall to end his round.

Caden Nunez (2028 Bakersfield, CA) is a wiry switch hitter with projection from both sides. the barrel skills were intriguing.

Chase Fillman (2028 Goodyear, AZ) has serious left-handed juice and simply made the field look small at times.

Colin Walsh (2028 Las Vegas, NV) is a quick wristed right handed hitter with feel to get the barrel out front and smoked balls to the pull gap.

Billy Cole III (2028 Pinehurst, TX) used his strong hands to work the barrel out front and punish baseballs to the pullside.

Bryce Haydock (2028 League City, TX) has a sound swing and good timing, he stayed to the middlee with good barrel control.

Jaxon Knapp (2028 Argyle, TX) has excellent hand speed and launches with authority, hitting missiles to hte middle of the park.

Kasen Langerhans (Round Rock, TX) has a smooth left handed stroke that gets in the zone early and stays through. There is loft power coming.

Xaiden Castillo (2028 Winchester, CA) uses the rear leg very well to create good bat speed and he has a very loose bottom hand allowing him to whip the barrel through the zone.

Burk Cresse 92028 Baton Rouge, LA) excellent sequence and turns very tight allowing him to adjust and barrel balls to the pull side.

Lian Orenstein (2028 Cypress, TX) has a long and lean frame and uses the length to stay in the zone and back spin balls to both gaps.

Jett Pratt (2028 Oxford, MS) has a good left-handed stroke and works the barrel out with ease and lots of accuracy. 

Isaac Thompson (2028 Shawnee, KS) breaks the front leg well and really explodes with the back hip. He lifted ball with consistency to the pulls side.

Kylen Gravely (2028 Rancho Santa Margarita, CA) does a good job spacing the barrel and showed lift and carry to the middle of the field.

Hudson Hempel 92028 Covina, CA) has very heavy hands and looks to pull with authority, with big intent and jump off the barrel.

Ben Clement (2029 Cambridge, IA) has a quick and short swing with very good feel for the barrel and a mature middle of the field approach.

Leighton Canarelli (2028 Las Vegas, 2028)torques the handle pretty well and the ball came off hot to the pull side with LD contact. 

Nolan Baird (2029 Corona Del Mar, CA) has left-handed juice and consistently got the barrel out front. 

Cole Zwarich (2028 Unionville, ON-CAN) has some upside with his strong frame and length in the zone.

Sebastian Flores (2029 Cula Vista, CA) has a free and easy stroke with excellent timing and the ball jumps off the bat when squared.

Chanz Chancey (2029 New York, NY) has excellent hand speed and really gets into his base well and he uses the whole field to hit liners.

Jake Clement (2028 Cambridge, IA) has a strong frame with a very heavy barrel and he has feel to lift already and hit a long homer.

Joel Vargas (2028 San Diego, CA) uses the hanging lift to laucnh with quickness and authority. The eye-hand is very good.

Grayson Sauer (2029 Windsor, CO) has long and wiry arms and stayed behind and inside and drove balls to both gaps. 

Kingston Sinner (2028 Scottsdale, AZ) has a powerful turn and can drive the ball with true carry to the middle of the field with lots of jump.

Sammy Dornier (2028 The Woodlands, TX) stays around the rear leg and explodes with it to create good jump to the pull side.

Alexis Reyes (2029 Upper Saddle River, NJ) has very quick hands and he takes strong and powerful hacks while driving balls deep to center.

Cole Pettijohn (2028) is high waisted with wide shoulders and plenty of room to add strength but already shows good pull side pop.

Ronin Mcrea (2029 San Diego, CA) has a smooth process and keeps his hands back well and was on the barrel from start to finish.

Grady Alonso (2028 San Diego, CA) does a really good job accelerating through the zone and back spun liners to both gaps.

Preston Adams (2029 Bakersfield, CA) is mechanically sound and the strength is coming, allowing him to show more carry on barreled balls during BP. 

Keith Clark (2028 San Diego, CA) leverages the ball very well and he exploded the barrel and smoked balls to right.

James Amante (2029 Orange, CA) found his swing and timing and lofted balls deep to the PS gap including a long homer. 

Ian Kuenzi (2028 Lancaster, CA) really torques the barrel and it led to one of the better rounds of the day, pummeling balls from line to line.

Owen Mescall (2028 Irvine, CA) barreled everythign during BP and explodes with the core for easy future juice.

Lenox minor (2028 Compton, CA) torched baseball for his entire round and turned in an exit velocity at 100. He is very athletic and explosive.

Eric Shim (2028 Temecula, CA) is very skilled with the barrel and can impact the ball to any part of the yard. 

Cane Tortorici (2029 San Diego, CA) has big intent and aggressively got the barrel out front and torched baseballs to the pull gap.

Chase Miranda (2028 Chula Vista, CA) has real strength and had a ton of carry to the opposite field gap.

Scott Fritz (2028 Hawthorne, CA) is a projectable left handed hitter with a line drive approach and good fell.

Liam Friedman (2028 Ladera, CA) has a great frame and is an explosive athlete, he hit hammered balls with authority to the pull side during drills.

Barrett Grieve (2029 La Jolla, CA) turns the barrel and uses good direction to hit laser line drives to all fields.

Zain Valdivia (2028 La Quinta, CA) has easy juice and lots of strength at contact. He destroyed balls to the pull side. 

Logan Allport (2028 San Diego, CA) fires the hands hard and looks to pull hard to right field. He looks to do damage.
